Gotta love SEGA.. they were so far ahead of everybody with the Model 3 and the games. I just love Daytona 2, both versions. Playing these games makes me feel good.
Hahaha this is so awesome. I love this game. The amount of detail and passion that was poured into it is astounding. I used to do this with the real cabs when I worked as an arcade tech. I would sit in the workshop on break on the twin cab and have the second unit in LIVE mode, and I'd turn the volume way up so it echoed through the workshop... Good times.
Hrrrm, I was aware that the videos I'd uploaded in multi-player with 3 of us racing looked a tad slower than normal, but I hadn't really thought that was the case with the live screen 2 emulator videos. I've just gone back and had a look though and sure enough, this definitely does look faster. The desktop capture from OBS must be having more of a slowing effect than I was initially thinking.
Y'know, the best thing is, the second monitor is in actual fact a secondhand TV I bought from Crack Converters many, many years ago for about £20 originally to use as the second screen for 2 player OG Xbox system link, but it also turned out to have a VGA connector input too, so it eventually ended taking on a whole new life as my 2nd screen for my PC.
You know what's a good idea for halloween? You should do a Daytona USA 2 creepypasta titled Satan's course the creepypasta will be about a guy downloading a suspicious rom file of the game that was supposedly from a website that was supposedly monitored from hell Then the guy would say that the course itself was quite creepy no music just the engine sounds with people soul screaming in agony and the one you have to race with was the devil himself I know it's a pretty cheesy scary story but a good idea for Halloween 🎃
