Just wanted to say thanks for all you do to keep our Chinatowns alive. Boston Chinatown doesn't get the love it deserves. Really appreciate you taking the time to visit and shine a spotlight on some great places. Next time you come back, would definitely recommend hitting up some Taiwanese spots. Taiwan cafe is a personal fave.
We are group of families from NJ and Houston. Went in Taiwan Cafe with great expectation, came out with disappointment. Please take that Taiwan from their name, nothing we ordered can said authentic Taiwanese dishes.
Chinatown in Boston doesn’t deserve any love at all .. I have been working in the forty for years and Chinatown is full of disgusting unsanitary people and also restaurants .. Bostonians should all come together and get rid of Chinatown and everybody who lives in it
Born and raised in the Boston area. Chinatown has really evolved. Kept up with the times. Very proud of the new gen entrepreneurs. They just need to figure out the parking situation. Been impossible to find parking for decades.
Born and raised in Boston when they decided to remove the metered parking spots from Kneeland and Washington streets that ruined the areas businesses. A must eat restaurant is Hong King Eatery at 79 Harrison ave. The bbq pork is insanely delicious.
That banh mi sold me to go to Boston foreal. I really liked Naq hanging out with y’all. He was so honest and educated! Everything y’all ate looked insanely good! Rest In Peace, Ken 🙏🏼
I live in Boston, and I’m so grateful for this video! Out of the places I’ve tried from this video, I can say they definitely deserve to be on this list! So now I know I NEED to go to the places I haven’t tried.
Boston thought its not that big compared to NYC I have had the best versions of every cuisine there... indian , ramen, chinese, nigerian food. Boston knows whatsup theres alot of good food
Ayyyy that was me in all black across the street at 24:00 I was wondering who the fuck was shouting at drivers. Then I realized it was the Fung Bros and asked for a picture. These guys were chill af. Hope yall had a nice time here, better be rooting for the Celtics next time you come back tho hahahahaha
Thanks Fung Bros for highlighting the food and people from Boston's Chinatown. I'm originally from the 626 where the level of Asian food is obviously unparalleled, but you gotta respect the history and how long this community has persevered on the east coast. Wish I could've run into you guys on the street. Long time subscriber and love your channel.

Only been to Boston a few times, but Penang was a favorite recommended by my in laws. Ate there 3x and were never disappointed. Boston Chinatown is full of surprises, love from the 6ix.

I've walked by Double Chin hundreds of times but never gone inside. That's about to change! Thank you for doing this vid, a love Chinatown. It's a very overlooked and underrated part of Boston.
OH MY GOSH THANK YOU!!! I work one street over from Chinatown and I love their food, but I always feel like I'm missing the "hidden gems" I had to subscribe. Thank you for making this video!!!
I highly recommend gourmet dumpling house & shabu zen if u guys ever do this again! haven’t been to boston in a while but as someone who used to live there it was nice seeing some spots i used to frequent!
It’s super cool to see the Fung Bros’ perspective and take on Boston’s Chinatown. I’m from Boston myself and was excited to see that you guys even visited the hidden gems like Wai Wai! I couldn’t even keep up with how many 5/5 David gave. Fung Bros have done it again, sheeeeeesh
I went and had food / ate in Boston China town all the time in childhood ( in the 1960s), it was my favorite place to go and eat . BEST ever . I loved all the shops .
I love Boston Chinatown lots of great memories and great food back in the 1980's my friends rented the entire top floor of a building (art studio) Chinatown it has it's own style. My friends and I were art school students and had so much fun and met lots of friendly shop and restaurant owners . Dim sum on Sunday with a case of beer under the table good times
Boston here!!!! Love this video and thanks for peaking my curiosity! Putting Chinatown Eats on my to do list for this weekend. Haven't been since pre pandemic
yasss supporting the local Chinatown spots! loving it! definitely check out the Egg Puff Lady, Tora Japanese Restaurant, and Sweet Waffles & Boba next time! ;)
Love Boston China town went there weekly when I was assigned to USS Wasp CVS18. Normally Wednesday was my visit. Good food, and atomosphere especially for a young sailor with limited income.
Flushing in NYC (as well as Sunset Park in Brooklyn), while popular among locals and foodies, always get overshadowed by their most famous sibling in Manhattan. Honestly, Flushing kills when it comes to the food scene, and just authenticity / environment. I know you've done it already, but it deserves way more attention than Manhattan's. Literally no one ever talks about Monterey Park / Rosemead / Alhambra outside of L.A. Monterey Park has one of the highest concentrations of Chinese people and businesses in the area, but everyone always focuses on L.A.'s more underwhelming / small Chinatown in Downtown. You should cover it.
Great video. I have a suggestion how about interviewing influential members of the Asian community. Serious but light engaging interviews. Like how we as asian americans make an impact in our world and community. Positivity and inspirational ideas and stories for the young Asian Americans. You could interview the mayor or local assembly members or congressional topics for a congressmen since you're mother is a lawyer she could help you. The Asian American foundation is doing wonders now. Maybe you can interview a board member or 2 in a serious setting. Have a more political voice and stance for your communities. Thank you very much. Hope you like this suggestion.
i was hoping to find a commented like this! we've got some serious asian flavor raising in the political and societal landscaping of "boss-town" and folk need to know
My father used to work in Boston decades ago when Chinatown was called the 'Combat Zone' we would occasionally meet him for lunch and we went to this Chinese restaurant in the lower level of a building in Chinatown and it was fantastic. He would occasionally bring home Asian pastries, peanut rolls, and mini custards so damn good. Good times
If you are in Boston, whether it is living or visiting, you have got to be in Chinatown. It is so underrated and I pray to god all the gentrification and cost of living stuff doesn't make it collapse because it is amazing. You can walk in to any restaurant and get great food for a reasonable price.
Boston is really underrated, between Boston, Cambridge and Dorchester we have some of the best food in the US from Korean food to Vietnamese to Chinese and everything in between. 617
Boston's Chinatown has always been a hit or miss for me. I'd love to try more of it, but I can't get over the state of many of the buildings there. I don't want to give names, but I went to a restaurant there once that had a leaking ceiling (on the bottom floor) and the restaurant above it had rats. I wish the city would help with the upkeep of these buildings because so many of the restaurants here are innovative af.
Loved your video & the way you bros. Communicate with one another as well as announce the dish in unison.I am going to try some of your recommendations.

One of the the most OG spots in Boston Chinatown is Chinatown Cafe. Been serving the community for decades with their HK BBQ, especially their fried pork. Once their supply is gone for the day, they're out.
Gotta go to Peach Farm next time and have their ginger and scallion lobsters! New Saigon Sandwich was opened for a very long time and had the best banh mi's since they make their own mayo but looks like they closed and Banh Mi Huong Que took over now.
