Thanks, the way you speak has something really accepting and real. Listening to you reminds me of the fact that it’s actually possible to get better and makes me want to try again ... and again ... :)

Super helpful! I'm 3 days in to SBSM and my body is expressing so much. I'm stressed 😅 - but not surprised, because so much of the environment that I live in is stressful - and I'm asking my body to experience the environment rather than ignore it. I'm so glad I happened upon this video.

We need to open ourselves up again by overcoming the traumas and defense mechanisms inside of us to experience the mystery of nature again. Just like we always did. Science and mystery go hand in hand. Basically it is like Einstein said: “Look deep into nature and you will understand everything better.”

Yeap, right thing. So much ups and downs. It is like rising and fighting, and always lose. And again trauma after trauma. It is like internal voice which hates you a lot. And you dont know when youve got it. A lot of work, also meditating, and you escape. I like youre excersize for present moment because it is grounding. And my response whole life was flight, except I didnt know it. And working with meditation energetically takes you into high chakras, and you have to stay in youre first one, root. Many fuck ups utill I accepted to stay grounded each moment of my day. And it has a lot of resistance

What do you think about CBD Oil and other natural calming substances?
I'm on pretty low dose antidepressants at the moment (so they are not stopping me from feeling stress responses, they just make me tired and a little calmer in the evening so I can sleep more easily) but I am thinking of dosing them off after all the stress of finding out what I want to study, where, finding a place to live, a mini job, moving there and so on is over. But I might need something else to calm me down instead as long as I haven't taught my system to calm down in its own. I might not need it, but just having something would makr me feel more safe.

Hello! Wondering if you've watched the Netflix series 'Afflicted'? I feel like that docuseries has captured so much of the unexplained illness you teach on. Thoughts?

Hi Sarah Salley, Jen here from Team Lyon. I can't speak for Irene, and I haven't seen "Afflicted" but will add it to my list. I did do a quick search to learn more and found this article, which may be of interest: medium.com/@afflicted/the-truth-behind-netflixs-afflicted-92e92d32cd7c

Are you aware that you use language as if you were speaking to very young children? For example...saying poop instead of defecate .

I think she is dummying it down for people like me. I'm good with that. I say poop all the time, I work with children, many from third world countries who have little english vocabulary. They wouldn't understand defecate. Are you hearing her message?

    • @AWalkWithWhizzy

She said excrete not poop. I get that, not sure my ESL kids would, probably not.

Thats actually very funny that you heard the word 'poop'. I believe this is all internal to yourself and not her. She said 'excrete'... but YOU heard poop. The way she spoke was fine. What you heard was actually childish.
