I am straight but I have a friend named Cody who is gay.His coming out story is terrible.I was the first person he ever told.Of course I was supportive. He then decided to tell his parents. His mom said."No you're not I will not let you be gay!" His dad punched him and said "If you are going to be a disgusting minority then get out and never come back." I will never forget 2:00 am in the pouring rain on my front porch sat my best friend with tears rolling down his face with a black eye and busted lip.My parents knew before his and he lives with us.His parents signed the papers giving my parents custody of him.His parents told mine that if they accepted him than they were going to hell.My mom looked at him and said "I'll see you there." Cody is now very happy and has an amazing boyfriend.Thank you for sharing yours it gives hope for a lot of people.Keep being the adorable couple you are! Xx

Allison Jones I just hope I will meet more people like you. My life is just pathetic. I have a boyfriend and we are living together. And non of my friends or family knew that im gay. They all thought that I am a womanizer and I dont have a serious girlfriend. But I am still happy because my boyfriend's family is very supportive and accepting. I almost cried when my bf's dad called me "son" one day. It means a lot to me. You probably don't care about my story but I just need to get this out in my chest. Have a great morning . :)

Jan Nowak PK said that sharing your story can inspire other people to share theirs… And I thought, really, is that the only reason why they are posting this video? How about a coming out story makes for good video content for their channel? Well, by the end of the video I reproached myself and was convinced that it was deeper than just sheer entertainment. The video is indeed beautiful and inspiring.
Having said that, I hope that one day people will no longer have to come out, but simply be. I find it awkward anyway that whole I-have-something-to-tell-you moment. Why can’t people just start living a gay life nonchalantly when they are ready to be open? If someone asks a guy if he has a girlfriend, why can’t he say “I don’t like girls”. Who are you going out with? “My boyfriend”. I think that would wipe out the awkwardness when you’re ready to be you - and also put a claim to a right heterosexual people have always taken for granted.

PK Creedon I simply love the way Mike just looks at PK telling the story. Not intervening. Just looking. Guarding him with all his soul and all his love. Being his guardian angel as he opens up about his experience. That's true love. Those are the two souls that were meant to meet in this world and complete each others heart. PK. You are one lucky soul. I hope you'll never have to leave this angel of yours. Because he is love impersonated for your heart.

I'm going to take a totally different observation to this video because I am sure everyone will say it better than I ever could so with that said; the absolute love I see in Mike's eyes every time he looks at PK is just mind blowing! Not only this video but every video! You can fake a lot for the camera and take it from someone who knows this from working behind the camera but the one thing you can't fake is the eyes. The eyes tell it all, all the time.
PK, you are one lucky guy and I am sure Mike would say he is the lucky one because he simply adores you. It is in his eyes!

One you know your own circumstances. Wait until you feel comfortable and feel that the time is right; then, you can come out and feel good about it. Also, make sure you do it in an environment that is safe. Again, only you know your own situation. If you can come out, it will be a huge relief for you, and it will take a huge burden off of you.

I think, PK, that *every* coming out story is beneficial to someone somewhere, struggling to be who they are. The bad ones prepare us; the good ones, like yours, shine a ray of hope. Perhaps one day, coming out will be one of those horrific things relegated to the past. Two moments in this moved me deeply: the first, at 5:39, when your friend in Ireland said that "you are a beautiful soul," I nodded and whispered, "Yes, he is." Then, when Sean, at 8:04, says, "I love you no matter what," it reaffirmed to me how wonderful your beautiful family is. And the way Mike looks at you, touches you, supports you throughout this . . . portrays the epitome of love. If I did not love you two already, this would set it in concrete. Thank you for sharing this with us.

I never got to tell my Gran but I believe that she knew. Grans know much more than they let on. My last convo with my gran she said ' I don't understand why there is such an issue with people loving people. Who cares if man and woman, woman and woman or man and man love each other. They should all be allowed to marry. You should be loved for who you are not what you are'.
Thanks for this video... I have binge watched nearly all of your videos in the last 3 days 🙈 you guys are awesome! Much love from Ireland x

Powerful content here. Raw, emotionally honest, mega courageous. I was tearing up because I was moved by your story and ability to be vulnerability. Mike demonstrates how to be a loving rock, allowing the feelings to come up pass through, being there to love and soothe you. And you can clearly see Mike begins to tear up because he sees PK in pain. I feel like in this moment you can really see their deep love for each other and their hearts beating as one. I think what separates your vlogs from other gay couples is a conscious sense of wanting to use this platform to educate and to set an example of the profound power of love to elevate the human experience. I kept thinking of all the lives that get saved watching this video.

5 days ago I told my best friend for the first time. You were right: it was the scariest moment ever. In fact, I had to text her 'I'm gay' because I couldn't pull my shit together to say it to her on the phone. and she responded "you know I don't care and I'm fully supportive" and I just started bawling my eyes out because it felt so good to know I have a true friend who doesn't care about who I like. Your story inspired me so much and I am truly proud to be considered one of your subscribers! Thank you for doing what you do!

PK - I haven't cried in a long time, but while watching this video I cried like I hadn't before. Your story brought to the surface memories of my own grandmother who I lived with during a period of my adult life. We were so close, like best friends, yet I never did tell her that I am gay. She passed over 7 yrs ago without me ever sharing that truth with her. I am much older than you and Mike. My parents are in their 80s. This year, I decided I could not make that mistake with my parents. I finally gathered enough courage a few months back to come out to them. I am happy to say, they were accepting without reservation. My Dad said that his one wish was that I would find a man who will love me as much as he loves my Mother. PK - Mike looks at you the same way that my Dad looks at my Mom - they have been married over 60 years. To those out there who are struggling to come out, it is never too late to claim and own your gift of being gay, to hold your head high and be proud of who you are and what you can become. My hope for you is that unlike me, try to not to let so much of life's time and potential slip by before claiming and owning your true and authentic self. Life is too short to deny your true self. I remain hopeful that I too can find someone who will look at me as my Dad looks at my Mom and as Mike looks at you. Thanks go out to you and Mike for the example you continue to set for others and as I commented previously about the picture taken of you both kissing among the “religious” pride protesters, I say again - Preach Pike Preach. Much love and support sent to you and Mike. Now that I have cried, I'm gonna continue to smile...because they already know.

My mother's mother was a friend of W.H. Auden, and a lot of poets in Greenwich village in the 20's and basically a very bohemian set of people. I was staying with my grandparents after graduating from college in hopes of finding a job near where they lived. I had been reading a book about some Brit poets in the 1800's one of whom was gay, and my grandmother kept asking me questions about the book in what essentially a leading fashion. It wasn't until years later that I fully realized she already new, but wanted me to say something first. And I never did. One of my biggest regrets.

The only coming out story, out of the hundreds that I have seen, that made me cry.
All I can say is thank you. Thank you for helping me find myself.
All my life, even when I was four, my family knew. But I live in the pacific northwest, and my family took it better than anything I could've imagined. I remember when I told my twin sister, I was in her room and I told her and she started to cry. And I felt my heart slowly melt away, but like your sister she said, "I'm sorry that you have to deal with those assholes that live here." And we just hugged and then my heart came back into shape.
Then I told my brother and he knew too. Then my mom and she just said, with her motherly voice, "I know sweetie. I'm just happy you told me." Then came hours of tears and love and I had never felt more safe. Then the hardest one, my dad.
My dad grew up in the south so that made me especially scared. Then when I told him, at T.G.I. Friday's in a San Jose Airport, he looked me in the eye and said, "Nothing will ever change my love for you son." And then I heart became an unbreakable and safe place for all the love that my family gave me.
As I got older, other family found out and no one cared. They just saw me as their nephew, grandson, cousin or just plain family. Though my grandma never got that change.
She had died from lung cancer one year before I was ready. That is my greatest regret. I never got the chance to let her know the true me. And then again, when my grandpa remarried and I had lost another grandmother to lung cancer.
Though my story is not filled with sadness and separation, it does not mean it was easy. Telling someone else about who you are, after finding out for own, has been the hardest thing for me to do, even harder than high school.
But I hope that PK's story inspires those who do not want to waste another minute hiding. PK has inspired me to show this world what I've got and how to make the most of it.
Even though your closest may have good clothes, what is the point of having them if you can't show them off?
    Thank you again Patrick. Truly.

To me, both your Coming Out stories were so incredibly important (being closeted myself) and they inspired me so much! I definitely feel so much closer to actually coming out to everyone. I also find the two of you to be genuine, kind-hearted and amazing people. I especially loved how close you are to your family, PK. To me, that was the best - you guys are like a well-oiled machine, and I'm not gonna lie, I was lowkey jealous haha. I only wish my family was that well-bound.

Thank you guys for this. You guys are simply the best. Your relationship is so special and the way you look at each other is so lovely to see two people do that, regardless of their sexuality or gender! Watching you on youtube gives every gay young man, or woman, the hope that they can have what you guys have. I watch every video of yours and you're an absolute inspiration, you don't take any of your 'views' or 'subscribers' for granted or your lives. It's amazing to see how much you appreciate everything you have. I've worked with young men who won't come out to their families or friends, but just watching you can give them the step forward to even consider a future as an 'out' gay man. I know loads of people comment on your videos, which is great to see, I just want you to know that from all the way here in the UK, I so enjoy watching you guys live your lives, be such an inspiration and just lighten everybody's day. Its a real shame you guys are so far away, I know you guys would be amazing on a night out. Please never change what you're going, keep us posted and thank you again for sharing your story! P.S PK your grandmother is watching these videos too, wherever she is and know that she loves you regardless. If its anything like my family, they already know. Stay positive, stay true and stay amazing! #becauseitsworthit

"We already know" that you two are AWESOME! So inspirational! I didn't officially come out to some of my family until We invited them to our wedding last Sept! LOL We HAD lived together for33 years though (since the night we met), so it wasn't a surprise to anyone. Only one brother-in-law refused to come and we have had no negative reactions (at least to our faces). For someone who grew up in the 50s and 60s, THAT seems surprising. I never thought I would live to see the day, and at 64, I easily might not have. Now, I love introducing , my HUSBAND! YAY for change! :)Thanks for brightening the world. Gay, Straight, Bi, Trans love is love and everyone should accept you for who you are. This video was pretty uplifting, for those who are gay and struggling with coming out or for those who are straight who won't know what it's like to be gay. Awesome video guys

Thank you for sharing. I went to a Christian College and needed to hide being Gay to get by. Once I graduated I gradually came out to those I met outside the Church. My Mom, Dad and sister accepted me unconditionally. Once I came out out relationship grew in to a beautiful thing. My Mom and Dad have passed but they have met my boyfriend (now my hubby) and loved him as a son. His parents are the best in-laws ever. I also have regrets not telling my Nan before she passed but my Dad told me she knew and loved me anyway. You two are an amazing couple to watch. You laugh is infectious... you two remind me of us.... all the best to you both!

Thank you for sharing! I am sitting here in tears watching the video! Very encouraging! Do not hold in the regret of not telling your grandmother. It is better to have left things as they were then to have opened an uncertain door, considering her cancer diagnosis. Things happen for a reason and your relationship with and memories of her were more important than telling her you are gay. I know it is a bit philosophical and you are dealing with emotions, but it does help to look at things that way sometimes. Love you guys!

Omg. I'm like crying my eyes out.
To all gay people out there, in the closet or out. Being gay is not something to be ashamed of. It's part of who you are. Wear it like badge of honor. We are who we are. Don't let society hold you back. If others can't accept you and has a problem with you being gay, it's their problem not yours. Those who truly love you won't mind.
Coming out as a gay teen had me losing friends that meant the world to me, but hey, I'm still alive. Better than ever and happier.
PK Creedon thanks for sharing your story. Like you I came out to my best friend, a guy. We knew each other since we were four. When I told him hr just hugged me and told me that I am his best friend no matter what. Still best friends after 18 years! #Bff You have an amazing family and you are beautiful. #TeamPike

Thank you for sharing your story with us. I agree, it's important to share our stories in the hopes to open others eyes, as well as inspire others who may be struggling. I'm so sorry to hear about your grandmother passing, and I'm sure that she loves you regardless. It sounds like she raised a great parent, and grandchild. Much love your way.

This is such a strong and emotional story. I hope that it can help at least 1 person. Back when I came out about 20 years ago, there wasn't really anything for support and encouragement. All of my family was supportive, except for my father. I told him that right now I needed the love and support of those around me. He said he couldn't give that to me because he couldn't understand my lifestyle. We didn't speak for the next 9 years. We have since opened up with each other and I have even moved closer to him now and I spent this past Father's Day with him. My point is, yes coming out is scary and reactions are unpredictable, but in order to be completely happy it's worth the risk.

PK - thank you for sharing!! VERY emotional, and I still have tears in my eyes as I type this. Just want to say that you guys are great and brave in doing this. Thank you. I thought of myself when you said creating other labels... I never realized that I had done that also - Vice President of this club, President of that, Academic Senator in College.... Sad, isn't it?? But true for so many of us.
I am SURE that your grandmother is looking down and smiling and loving you!
I think that you and Mike are so wonderful and feel almost like a part of my family. I am your dad's age, but you are wise beyond your years and bring much insight to those that watch your videos. Thank you again!
Have to say this - wish that Mike had a twin brother! You 2 are cuties!!!

Your story about your grandmother really hits close to home. When my grandmother passed away suddenly, the thought running through my mind over and over again was, "Why didn't I tell her?" The regret of not having taken the chance to tell someone so important in my life about a truth so essential to me was tearing me apart. At that time, I wasn't out to anyone in my family, but in a way my grandmother's passing catalyzed my resolve to come out to the people in my life who mattered; it made me realize that life is brief, and our time with our loved ones is too precious to wait. Even though I never had the chance to tell my grandmother who I really was, I try to make it up to her every day by living openly, and never taking those around me for granted. I think it's turned out for the better. Thanks for sharing.

I generally don't like watching coming out videos but I have to say that this is one of the most beautiful and important videos I have ever seen on RUclips... I think. It's so representative of your channel and what the two of you portray every week when you get behind that camera. You lead full, wonderful, enchanted lives and you share them with us. Just read these comments, PK and Mike. Some are inspired to come out like you. Some are crying. Some are entranced by Mike's loving gaze (beard=woof btw, you keep rocking that). Without even trying you give thousands of people HOPE for a loving, supportive family. For a story that some day, not too far now, we can be happy with. For love, for a partner in all things that will make us finally feel like we have found our perfect place in this world. And lastly you give us hope that there are beautiful souls in this world. I'm not a religious person at all but you have a beautiful soul, PK, your friend Piper was right (one of the most emotional parts of this video).
So thank you, Pike. For all that you do, and all that you don't know you do. I look forward to Mike's story. Please, just keep broadcasting your lovely selves because, to quote that famous scene from Prayers for Bobby, a child is listening. And furthermore we're all listening, and we have your backs, and we know you have ours.
All the love I can send through the screen. 8-)

You guys are such an inspiration!!! I grew up in the 60s & 70s when being gay was NOT accepted. There was SO MUCH hate and anger for gay people during that time! I was forced into the closet in order to be "accepted" and make my way up the career ladder at work. I made some decisions that I regret to this day in order to be accepted in society. You guys are SO lucky to be living in an era when being gay is now very accepted. I hope that someday soon that I can myself get the courage to change my life, come out and live the life of happiness that I really want and deserve! In the mean time, I watch your videos and am happy for you two and so many others that are so happy!

PK and Mike will forever be one of the GREATEST couples on the planet because not only did they make it through the struggle, but even though they don't say it 24/7, you can see how much they genuinely love and care for each other through the way they look at each other and the small absent-minded touches and gestures toward each other. That kind of stuff can't be faked for the camera.

Thank you for sharing your story.
I believe that we know (subconsciously) everything that is going to happen to us in our lives. It is either learning how deal with the issue/event that has popped into our lives or learning the skill we need to put these ideas into existences/reality.
It's all about timing. Sometimes you have a choice to inform the world of your/our existences and other times it can thrust upon us.
I also believe this world doesn't give us anything that we can't handle or at the least is a story (which you may not know at the time) that will you make you/us a stronger persons.
Also I'm a great believer, that I wasn't called into existence for myself. Not that I'm here to be somebodies other half, because I'm whole. I'm just looking for somebody to journey through this world with. Whom doesn't have to use words, to know what I'm feeling/thinking (well not all the time).
    Kind regards.
    Jeames.
