It's a turn off when the company's webpage immediately blows the screen up with multiple sequential popups and prompts wanting personal information, emails, notifications, etc. Notable because other reputable vendors don't do that with their websites.
What a piece of garbage. Good testing. Horrible idle and continuous. They need to pull this from the market. That surge is a joke. Hook up proper size battery to 18kpv and post those tests. It will blow you away. Even the 12kpv can start a 5 ton. Don't test these without properly sized battery output connected.
Yea the idle and surge is insane.. pretty sad. We plan to do some bigger testing on the 18k & other larger units like the Flexboss this year. For now, we are doing our best with what we have! We all start somewhere!
Thank you for all the great videos. Do you have any suggestions on powering a home in an HOA that does not allow panels? I'm thinking maybe just a battery system that charges with the grid, and a portable generator to charge them when we have several days of clouds? What would you setup at home?
Found your channel a couple of months ago. Helped me with a couple of major purchases, for me anyway. Thanks and I look forward to more. On a lighter note the background music sucks, no other way to say it. Lol
All these inverter/your channel is awesome on reviews is awesome. May you please do some budget build systems reviews in like the Litime 24v & 48v inverters & other companies that come out with budget stuff. But worth buying. Please & thanks.
All those negatives, plus if you're the type to use the same brand batteries with your inverter, you'll still come out cheaper with EG4, or Midnite, or Ruixu.
Neither the EG4 inverter line nor this new Rich Solar inverter are any good or safe for full time residential applications. The reason for this is that their core technology is based on a low cost, low surge, short lived high-frequency, transformerless inverter topology that doesn't provide any galvanic isolation for safety. I would never install one of these high frequency. Inverters in my home. Ask Google AI: "Can a high frequency, transformerless inverter damage your appliances?" If you don't believe me.
Strange you say that, tens of thousands of units out there 100s of forums never ever heard on one incident of this. Cars can blow up also driving around with gallons of a very volatile unstable liquid sloshing around....yet we manage our trips daily.

That interface looks like a company I reviewed couple years ago and it was garbage
Yea the idle and surge is insane.. pretty sad.

@@WillProwse Interface looks like MPP.
Hi Will
Hey will
Good video, I'll stay with EG4...
good call!
Yep, me too! A little bummed I have 2 EG46000XP, then the 12K came out, but I still run the crap out of them.
@@willfixthingsfordonuts I only have one 6000xp, it's a small house and the temperature outside never goes below 70 or above 90 degrees, easy.
Thank you for sharing this important information
sounds like you should buy a scheinder xw 6.8 pro
Fully agree. This piece of garbage can't hold a candle to an xw pro

EG4 all the way that 12000xp cannot be beaten!
With all the issues you had with this and the EG4 gear, I would just stay with Sol-Ark.
Found your channel a couple of months ago. Helped me with a couple of major purchases, for me anyway. Thanks and I look forward to more. On a lighter note the background music sucks, no other way to say it. Lol
Music is ok. The production worked for me because I received the content and never even thought of the music until you said something.
Yea nice review, but the eg4 12000xp is $600 cheaper, with better specs
yea its a better purchase!
can't wait for their review of a portable nuclear power station.... shit's just getting bigger and bigger
Podría usted hacer un review del SRNE HESP 12k inverter? Gracias.

Review the nhx 12kw as a comparison

It's weird seeing him without his hat, lol.
Price dropped to 2999 lol nope...
Test deye inverters and batteries
It’s a Beta model at best.
That’s too expensive. It makes sense to buy the eg4
yes it does!

Who is building a good transformer based inverter now. Sounds like the schnieder unit is being discontinued.

Found the spammer. This guy literally just spams this all over
@@quickquote1568 this account spams the same thing on many videos. The comment improves this video's RUclips algorithm scoring, just ask Google AI lol
This inverter is a disappointment. I dunno why they’d even come out with this. Looks neat on the outside though. Till you look at the screen. 😄
No Rich Solar for me.
To many negatives to even recommend. Seems like a paid review but still honest?
we recommended buying EG4 LOL
Pure junk not worth the price EG 4 18K PV just blows it out of the water
No thanks. For that money I can get more.
JUNK!
ur vid is only for rich ppl so i give it a thumbs down Try again kid play to the majority not to some very small minority
Thats a pretty quick conclusion.. this product may be expensive, but what about all the cheap ones we have reviewed?
