Those are some very nice tools
In the latest version of illustrator, I saved my original file with PDF and no compression which made it a 1.3 GB file. This is for a backdrop that's 120 in wide 96 in tall I can open it up in illustrator now but when I go to resave it's taking such a long time that I don't know if it's actually working. I've stopped the saving a couple times and there's a working temp file of 2 GB. The issue is now that since this is not the first time saving the file, I don't have that option to use artboards or select compression or untick the PDF box. When I do save as I don't see this option either. Do I have to save it as a different format like eps?

I work with a lot of 3d files imported as vector PDFs. These files can be huge, I get a lot of duplicate lines and needles points. Would any of your tools such as step 9 find an remove these unneeded vector lines?

I save the file as a copy without ticking 'PDF Compatible File', it truly saved a lot of data. But can I delete the original file? Doesn't it affect anything?
You can always make a test file for peace of mind but you can delete the original, just be aware that if you need to go back to that file you may have difficulty placing it into a new document so we recommend you uncheck only for old archived files.
The first technique is mind-blowing from 244,000kb to 485kb.
