Hi Silv ! Pretty awesome you mentioned Le Havre and the St Joseph Church as it is my birth place ! Never imagined planco and Le Havre would have been reunited !
"Its a Simple Building" is Silvs translation to "one of the most creative building design and Coaster+Scenerie-Integration ever done on Planet Coaster (on RUclips)" 😅 Your skills are unmatched!
in terms of realism a big standout coaster like this one would have an exit path merch store dedicated to the coaster and such where the park forces visitors through the shop via the exit path, i think that'd be really cool on this project
Love the triangle motif, it actually works so well as the "theme" for a ride called "apex." So cool to hear about the inspirations from mountainous art as well. Oh yeah, it's all coming together.
my tip on placing the grass is that you place it with all four directions, place, rotate, place, rotate, etc. Yes - piece count goes up, but its a way to achieve a slightly better look.
Does anyone else have that feeling that Silveret is sitting at a glass desk in a modern minimalist home with only a keyboard, his monitor, and mouse with a glass of wine and classical music playing around him as he does these videos?
9:55 these jutting out rocks made me think of City of Rocks, Idaho. I visited there recently because it's a famous rock climbing destination - they even have a famous route called "Roller Coaster" (which, depending on how anarchistic you are with your credit counting, could be considered my 400th coaster)
Amazing episode, love the station building! It's also very interesting to take inspiration from painting, this should be more common. I would refrain from putting the exit path as such a focal point tho. Everybody will want to enter from there. Maybe have a fountain or something (basically a c-gate) in front of the bridge just to barely hide it.
It's interesting that you mention your favorite moment being when it all comes together. A lot of 3d artists, myself included, also say the same thing when it comes to the 3d pipeline for making models. I think the ability to follow through with a vision - to be able to see/push through the majority of the stages where the work looks like crap - is essential for anyone working in the creative field and often not commented on. Of course, this could also lead to situations where you're polishing a turd, so knowing when and how to perform a reset is also important. It doesn't come as a surprise to me though, as I've always considered you a talented artist. I don't use the term loosely as people tend to these days. All you'd have to do is learn how to use 3d tools and I have no doubt you'd be an absolutely killer 3d environment artist.
I think you should have painted some dirt/rock texture under the rubble to help it blend in a bit better. Also a big A P E X sign in the same triangular styled lighting would look really nice right by the queue.
Very Nice concept and I must say unique in its style regardons the rest of your creations. You should push this triangle/neon concept for some other part of the track
14:40 it's not a cathedral actually, just a church (Eglise Saint Joseph) but it's stunning nonetheless. The whole city-center of Le Havre is a World Heritage UNESCO site
I loved the architectural talk in this. So often true architectural thought is lost in games like these. I am currently interning at a firm and have been studying architecture for years, I thought this was fantastic. You hit the nail on the head “a building does not exist without its context”. You really pulled me into your mind and thought process, I love the concept of mimicking art with physical design. Do you have a background in architecture?
Silv now speedrunning his projects before PlanCo 2 release🎉
Can't leave all those unfinished projects hanging :D
@@Silvarret I doubt I can. Have a megapark at like 70% and a medium sized park at like 14-20%.... Sad but it is how it is...
@@Silvarret !!!!
I'm more of a pebble guy, but that rubble is speaking to me
Hi Silv ! Pretty awesome you mentioned Le Havre and the St Joseph Church as it is my birth place !
Never imagined planco and Le Havre would have been reunited !
Apex (Part 1) is such a sick name for a coaster 😉
Hahah thanks, updated the title!
Apex (Part 1) Is a really great value! 🤣
Apex (Part 1) looks too intense for me..
I was actually in Saxon Switzerland on Monday. To be precise, I was at the Bastei. It's really beautiful there.

Yeah it's really simple- Silv in a nutshell 😅😅😅
the dark blue lights go so well with the grey and black it looks so cool at night

Nothing quite like a second part to Part 1
Wow mannn! That station is crazy! Very technical
as a french it took me a while to understand that it was "Du Havre", great videos by the way
Does anyone else have that feeling that Silveret is sitting at a glass desk in a modern minimalist home with only a keyboard, his monitor, and mouse with a glass of wine and classical music playing around him as he does these videos?
14:33 You know I love it when you mention France 🇫🇷
you gave yourself a real challenge with this station and really rose to the occasion. such a cool build!
We need a video where Silv just rambles about architecture. I always like the nerd talk

the night shots are just beautiful silv!
It reminds me a lot of Tron: Legacy with all those lights and shapes. Love it.
Woo part 1 again!!!
Oops, updated the title:)
I love how this looks more like Tron than well Tron
I think you’ve outdone yourself here in terms of design Silv. Brilliant!
That station building is insane 🔥
just enough detail, amazing build 💯

it's saxon switzerland - but the bohemian switzerland is nearby. (in the czech republic though)
The final result is crazy 🔥🔥

I see faces in the rocks😂
Very Nice concept and I must say unique in its style regardons the rest of your creations.

Thank you! Will try to do that for sure :)
love the rocks bro

I love the station, in addition i Can tell the church name : St Joseph church
St Joseph Cathedral, Le Havre, France
great update/video
I think you missed an opportunity to add lights to the concrete 'portals' around the launch!
this rockwork also looks similar to the rockwork on the Velocicoaster. Check it out.
I like how well the station ties in with the rock work. They have very similar shape/structure.
Don't see what is wrong with those beams at the launch sections. You have to support the Station building somehow
Amazing build! What is the exact name of the painting you mention? I would love to see it
So are you going to make this like a full park or just this one ride
when is the third part 1 coming out?
Amazing
Very mooi weer Silv!
silv content hype🎉
W Apex
he's clearly not used to making part 2's
how do you have the smoothing options of “smooth forward” or “smooth backwards”
it's a mod
Wish planco had a better modding community like rct2
Part 1, 2
Man, those mounting plates that auto generate from the 1 meter track, is just terrible.
Letsgooooooo
part 1 chapter 2
It could be kinda cool to make a custom name sign with the letters of APEX made up of tringles 📐
That's genius, I drew an idea out on the train right away! Would love to feature it in the next episode and give you some credit, if that's cool!
Quick, someone tag @Intamin so we can get a clone of this built. I need to ride it!
