Thanks for sharing. I have a briefcase with my bible, prayer books, crucifix, holy water and salt, and rosaries. You'll never know when you'll need to bless someone that's in dire need. Bless my office at work and anyone that requests it.
For a devout protestant this was very informative to me . I may not agree with all of the teachings of the the Catholic church I've often found much more common ground to agree upon. May God continue to bless you in your walk of faith through His Son Jesus and the Holy Spirit.
@@Rick-fz7tt It's a reproduction of a military WWI to WWII rosary by rugged Rosary's. It's very high quality and durable metal not sure what metal though. It's the only Rosary I've owned which hasn't broken or come loose yet. The only downside is it can be a bit noisy and heavy especially if you want to carry a 15 decade Rosary. Overall a great Rosary though. May God bless you & may Mary keep you. Thanks for the question.
No one can be saved without being graced by Almighty God. Bible. John 6:44 [44]No man can come to me, except the Father, who hath sent me, draw him. And I will raise him up in the last day. Or water Baptism and believing in the Blessed Trinity and the Lord Jesus Christ. Bible. John 3:5 [5]Jesus answered: Amen, amen, I say to thee, unless a man be born again of water and the Holy Ghost, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. Bible. Matthew 28:19 [19]Going therefore, teach ye all nations: baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost. Bible. John 3:16 [16]For God so loved the world, as to give his only begotten Son: that whosoever believeth in him may not perish, but may have life everlasting. Also the holy Catholic Faith. Bible. Ephesians 4:5 [5]One Lord, one faith, one baptism. Bible. Matthew 16:18-19 [18]And I say to thee: That thou art Peter; and upon this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. [19]And I will give to thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven. And whatsoever thou shalt bind upon earth, it shall be bound also in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth, it shall be loosed also in heaven. But the Sacraments and Sacramentals help bring us to God and Christ. A crucifix reminds us of Jesus Christ our Lord and casts away devil's. Carrying the word of God helps reminds you to do good and studying it gives you the truth of the Catholic faith. Carrying a Rosary is the most pleasing prayer to Jesus through Mary that any man could offer besides the Holy Mass. So with these in mind is it necessary no of course not the early Martyrs died without personal shrines most likely maybe only simple wood crosses if anything besides faith and Baptism. But where Christ is there will be strength against any power to those who trust in his Catholic Church and teachings. It also is much harder to be saved without them but not impossible. It's like chosing to roll or ski down the hill. Both word but one is easier to do friend. I hope that clears it up may God Bless you with faith and understanding please visit vaticancatholic.com for more information!
@@23lundca, thank you for your reply: I appreciate it? I have an other question: You quoted John 3:5, and if I understand what you wrote, you believe that you must be baptized. Yet, when one of the thieves on the cross asked JESUS, "Remember me when you enter into your Kingdom." JESUS said, "Today you will be with me in paradise." (Luke 23:42-43). Do you believe water baptism is 100% needed to be saved?
@@jeffersonrundell7540 I'm not sure what your Religious beliefs are hopefully soon to be if not already Catholic! However if you have ever heard or said the Apostles Creed. Its the most basic Christian Creeds from the Apostles the Catholic Church has given us. You'd know from it and scripture when Jesus died he descended into hell. Ephesians 4:9 [9]Now that he ascended, what is it, but because he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth? 1 Peter 3:18-19 [18]Because Christ also died once for our sins, the just for the unjust: that he might offer us to God, being put to death indeed in the flesh, but enlivened in the spirit, [19]In which also coming he preached to those spirits that were in prison: He also was the first to ascend to Heaven with the Resurrected and Glorified Body. Colossians 1:18 [18]And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things he may hold the primacy: The good thief went with Jesus to Abraham bosom. Bible. Luke 16:22 [22]And it came to pass that the beggar died and was carried by the angels into Abraham’s bosom. And the rich man also died: and he was buried in hell. We can also understand the meaning of what it means to be in paradise. Bible. Apocalypse 2:7 [7]He that hath an ear let him hear what the Spirit saith to the churches: To him that overcometh I will give to eat of the tree of life which is in the paradise of my God. Paradise is wherever God is that's what Heaven is to dwell in the presence of God the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost forever. So Earth, Hell, or Heaven could all be paradise if Jesus Christ dwelled there but obviously we know from the scriptures and the creed he reigns at the right hand of God the Father in Heaven. But when on earth it was paradise and when he descended to Abrahams bosom it was Paradise for the good thief and old testament just being with Jesus Christ. Either way though Baptism only became required after Our Lord Jesus Christ said baptize all nations in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. So the requirement wouldn't have been on a Jew who died in Judaism which doesn't save only Jesus Christ and the new law does. Which requires you to be baptized so in this age yes you must be water baptized in the Trinity to be saved. Catechism of the Council of Trent, Baptism made obligatory after Christ’s Resurrection, p. 171: “Holy writers are unanimous in saying that after the Resurrection of our Lord, when He gave His Apostles the command to go and teach all nations: baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost, the law of Baptism became obligatory on all who were to be saved.” vaticancatholic.com/good-thief-holy-innocents/ Here's a great article by Vaticancatholic.com! Thanks for watching God Bless you with faith and grace to serve his Catholic Church in Jesus name through our Lady's prayers! Amen. P.s. hypothetically the good thief could have followed Jesus disciples before sinning and already been baptized then repented to him. Also there's the belief of some Church father's that the just who rose again we're baptized. These are more speculative in thought though and not infallible. Matthew 27:52-53 [52]And the graves were opened: and many bodies of the saints that had slept arose, [53]And coming out of the tombs after his resurrection, came into the holy city and appeared to many.
