Gt 180 at 7k rpm and 400ninja 180 at 11k rpm ,they are differently tuned and configured engine types and they have their own unique stands
You forgot the cc difference cuz of which less rpm and less load. It isn't tuned but configured. Gt can be defeated but new models of sports bike have come with limiters cuz of which they don't go beyond their prescribed speed limit

And i am a gt lover cause its metal body ,looks good,rumble sound , you will rarely see a cafe racer bike on indian roads,has long single seat option hence comfortable for pillion and those clip on handlebars look so inspiring to grab ninja 400 is just your regular sport bike with fairings aggressive posture high and small pillion seat all fiber body not great sounding you will see soo many bikes similiar to it like ktm 390 rc,yamaha r3,ninja 300,apache rr 310,r15 etc but at the end of the day if you like your fairings sport bike then go with it its your choice be happy 😊

Trust me. In a year or two Gt-650 will slowly become a chapri Bike cause of its cheap price-power-looks ratio. For that reason alone, i will never want it. Everyone in my city has it now, and they always customize the tank colors too😂

I would tell you if your son has interest in sports bikes go for 400, as the refinement is on another level as compared to gt and engine power too. As gt is a retro bike it has its own flaws and its own beauty. I love both of them. And one more thing, service of kawasaki ninja 400 will cost 7-8k per service. Test ride both of them, but 400 won’t be available for 400 just 300. I hope i was of any help. I am planning to buy 400, so.
