sorry this is a late comment- but if you rinse fat free cheese first (weird, i know) it will melt like regular cheese! pro tip from Shay Click.
The powdery stuff they coat shredded cheese with is an anti-caking agent. Does exactly the opposite of what you want cheese to do on tacos or pizza.

Made pizza used 2 of the tortillas, 2.5 oz chicken sausage, 16 pepperoni, entire package of cheese, 1/4 cup pizza sauce, and sprinkled 2 teaspoons of Kraft parmesan cheese.

Those are very good macros with a ratio of about 5 cal per gram of protein. I think any meal with a ratio of 15 or less is very good at 15 that means if you wait 2000 cal a day you’d be getting 133 g of protein.

Pre-shredded cheese is coated with an anti-clumping agent that makes it “not melt”.
The small amount of time it takes to shred cheese yourself is worth.

i used to like the joseph's flax pitas, but they must have changed the recipe for them, cause i can't stand the last few i got. the Ole Xtreme Wellness comes in a few flavors like Tomato Basil and Spinach & Herbs.. the tomato Basil is my fav, but i like the spinach one too - it doesn't taste like spinach though. i like them both better than the Mission Low carbs. in case you were wanting some options. 45 gram tortilla has 70 calories, but 4 grams of protein 14 grams of carbs but 10 of that is fiber and 1.5 grams of fat. they are very soft like a regular tortilla too and crisp up in an airfryer if you want to make tacos or pizza rolls. wish they sponsored me lol, but they are good

I added mushrooms and artichoke hearts cut up finely. Used 93/7 ground turkey instead of chicken sausage. This is an exceptional recipe and indeed kept me full for a good lil minute

I've tried a lot of different wraps and La Banderita is probably the best ones. All the others stick together and tear up when you try to take them out. They taste real good also.

I found your video and channel when looking for low carb and diabetic friendly recipes. This was delicious. I had to use turkey sausage since I didn't see chicken at my local store, and i only used a little over half cup of cheese. But man I will keep making this if I can. Thanks for the recipe. Now I'll have to get some low carb ranch for dipping.

Looks great. All the low carb tortillas and breads are so much more expensive than regular it's crazy. Makes it hard to follow this type of lifestyle, especially if you have a family to provide for.

@@jacobmitchell9227I wish I could - I’m in Canada and they don’t sell it here. When I’m in the states though, I know Walmart carries the Kraft fat free cheddar and the great value fat free mozzarella- and it’s 30 or 35 calories, per 30g (1/4 cup serving),👍🏻
In Canada, the lowest I can find is the Saputo light mozzarella which is 70 cal per 30g
im trying get from 315 to 275 or 250 before going to flight school. this looks damn good and i am going to give it a try. the only thing is i will swap out the back cheese for block cheese. bagged cheese has anti caking agents that do not allow trhe chees to brown. i like the cheese on my pizza to brown and even have a little char on it. thanks for the recipe idea.

Fat free mozzarella is hard to find but i did. Good source. I would add a little sausce to the first layer. Tasted good. Has me motivated. If eating high protein is this possible, i think i can make good progress

No reason to salt your salt my guy. Plenty of sodium in cheese and pepperoni. Zero reason to add more.
For those don’t know always make sure you keep your water intake up if you’re consuming a good amount of fiber. These two wraps almost meet the daily recommended amount.
Yeah, I was on team "i don't care about Sodium" in my early years too. Now that i'm in my 40's and have to deal with older man aches and pains issues I realistically pay a lot more attention to that and the effect it has on my body's potassium levels. Love those Lo Carb wraps, but all that sodium can get crazy high real quick with most of these ingredients used.
This would be more a cheat meal day thing for me. Not a daily :)

With all due respect a decent total calorie count for weight lose in itself doesn't necessarily equate out to being "healthy". For starters it's full of highly processed ingredients. Secondly the total sodium intake of these ingredients comes out to a rough and fairly absurd 3400mg. BEFORE he sprinkles on salt. That ain't healthy as a daily one meal hit my man.
@@oroebuck I also for the record consider there being a difference between a more calorie friendly "cheat" meal, and eating crap that essentially just pushes backwards on your dietary progress. For me this falls in as the former. I can rationalize ignoring an overly absurd daily sodium intake once a week on a non-deficit day.
You're the first one I've seen use that brand over Mission. Mission low carb tortillas have always been so dry to me. The ones you use, that I also use are so soft. I have a quasadilla maker and regularly made pizza quasadillas and dip them in the sauce.
Gonna make this, with the same brand tortillas, but with there new Zero Net Carb tortillas. Yes those tortillas are just as good as the ones he used in this video

I do this using the ole xtreme high fiber wraps but i just use one and they are great!!!
For anyone else who finds the turkey pepperoni greasy, Yves vegan pepperoni is awesome - more flavour, fewer calories, less greasy and has more protein than the turkey stuff. (I’m totally a meat eater but the vegan pepperoni is awesome)

Looks great! But I only got full fat mozzarella. I still calculate good macros at 908 cal and 82 g of protein.
salt, marinara and garlic are the only ingredients from your recipe I could find in the supermarkets in my country, guess I'm sticking with chicken breast and sweet potatoes....

I’m 252 (down from 350) and have been walking and doing keto for 8 months. I can’t seem to get under 250. I’ll get close and then it goes back up. What kind of diet/exercise should I be on? My ultimate goal is 225 or less. I’m 6’
Need to keep it under 30g carbs a day to maintain keto. Skip dinner every once in a while (fasting). Make sure you limit total calories to keep the weight loss going. Get a little exercise. Even just going for a walk or to the store or something to get your blood pumping. Do some small workouts with with weights to build some muscle, it goes a long way.
