Yo what's up man, yeah I don't know about those WL toys. I goofed up and bought two of them. I think there's some plastic compounds stronger than the metal they use. Also I don't think they can handle a powerful brushless system for very long, they just seem too cheap. I went with Arrma anyway good luck with yours my friend😎👍👊
We'll see haha. I didn't expect much from it when I bought it (it was over 2 months ago), but, I do know lots of folks are building speed rigs out of the 12th scale version and for the price I figured I'd gamble. I was looking at a 6s Typhon or a Radix/Python for a buggy... This should hold me over until then.
Man, I wish I'd have known, id have gladly bought one of em off ya just to save on shipping time from China. Ive got mine coming in about a week now...but I've been waiting since April 12
I would sugvest the brushed 14001 or whatever it is..the one that's under 100 bucks..yes its brushed but its faster than this and is a great build..also if u are going to pay 150-200 u mat as well go with a more reputable brand with part availibity and not have to wait 2 months from your parts to cone from another country..160 bucks??ur smoking something..no way lol.and this thing is way to slow
Theres nothing "reputable" for 150 honestly, not in 10th scale. . I looked, the cheapest race worthy 4wd buggy is over 400 for just the kit. No electronics or batteries. The cheapest 2wd is over 170 and its not one I wanna race, 2wd buggy. Id do 2wd truck but 2wd buggy is too twitchy to tune. This is based on the xray race buggy but is like 300 bucks cheaper, and if you just treat it as a cheap way to get a chassis to work off of and trash the electronics this is a great value.
Also, itsslow because they geared it safer because its heavier on the same motor as the 14th scale. Its also set up for carpet track, which has shorter straightaways, so more torque makes sense. If you look, it comes with carpet tires.
@@NeoIsrafil I am not that good with these things yet to but I am buying a kit soon, see what happens..I have a great buggy already..losi tenacity do pro..only rc I have owned with 0 problems at all..makes me want another losi...getting into the rc hobby though I see way too many rc's that are too similar too one another..I'm not trying to pay 500 for something thats pretty much the same as one I already got.thats why im thinking about a kit

I agree with everything you said. But, like the Voltage - I like the tinkering aspect.
