You’ve done it again!!! I watched your video, searched for this pressing, and now I have an addition to my collection. First was Captain Fantastic! Thanks for your insights!

Another excellent lesson from the University of Vinyl in the Crown Jewels series-love it! I have a non-KENDUN/PoGo OG and it does sound good- but I wouldn't say stellar. I have been on the hunt for a NM KENDUN/Pogo, and hopefully I'll pick one up soon. Love this series, Tim!

I've always wanted a copy of the 2x45 but I'm already very pleased with my Kendun. The bass on "I'm So Afraid" is so apocalptic despite being at the end of side 2! I can see why Peter Green insisted on getting John McVie in his band. McVie is an underrated bassist.

I LOVE this series of videos you are doing! I hope others do too and you’ll keep it going ! I’m going to buy a shirt too.

Great album pick, Tim. I agree with you 100%. I love my Los Angeles pressing and find it very warm sounding. I've really been enjoying your Crown Jewels series, keep 'em coming!

I picked up a clean KENDUN / POGO pressing with textured jacket for $20 last year. So many great songs!

Tim - since you consider this one of your best sounding vinyl records, you may wish to listen to the two versions I think many / most (including me) would consider the best: the original 1975 promo which many overlook since it looks like a normal Reprise brown label, but on closer inspection has Promotion Not For Sale across the top and the Mobile Fidelity version. Both are readily available. If you’re going with a stock brown label, in addition to the Kendun stamp and the Pogo, look for pressings with a heart and or flowery artistic scribbles as well. Enjoy!

Hey, is that a Nagaoka MP-200 cart? I'm a big Nagaoka fan too. Did you know that the MP-300 and the MP-500 stylus(s?) will work on that cart? I run an MP-500 stylus on my MP-200 cart and it sounds killer. You get the definition that the MP-300 stylus gives you, but without sacrificing as much of the low end. Cheers!

Confirmed MP 200! I didn’t know you could run those Stylus(s) with it. Thanks for letting me know - very cool

Santa Mara pressing is absolutely magnificent.
However my 1975 Japanese pressing is utter Magic coming through my KEF R3 Meta(s).

Matter of fact. This was the second record I played when I got my new KEF R3 Metas three weeks ago. Need to listen to it again now that they have broken in a little bit. Still have a long ways to go. I hear tell it can take up to four months for the R3 Metas to fully break in.

'I'm lucky, I have a number of record stores near me that stock VMP pressings'...
You *REALLY* love to rub it in, don't you Tim... 🙄 I wonder if you saw my snarky reply to someone's comments on your last video or two where I gave my rendition of when God was creating the world and where he put most of the record stores 😁 I have a pressing of that album that I did buy new long ago. I need to check it to see if it is the Kendun pressing. You know, I actually had that 2-45 pressing of this one at one time along with the same 2-45 of Rumours that you have. But, because the songs didn't appeal to me as much as Rumours, I let it go for $35 to another Steve Hoffman member years ago - Now the damn thing is worth like $150 - $200 I think. Shoulda kept it... Oh well, maybe I'll be lucky and my early pressing of this album will be a good one!

i have the chris bellman 2lp 45rpm. i found it more detailed with better bass than the mofi. the mofi was about the same as my uk 1st press. but i think the mofi was quieter in better condition and kept the mofi over the uk 1st press.
I will say the track "blue letter" on my 2lp 45rpm sounds lower quality or from a lesser source than the rest of the whole album. strange but there is a huge quality dip on that song only.

Great record. Too bad it was overplayed like many others.
