The best mad genius in Dragonball is Bulma. Hear me out: she knows everything about her Dad's inventions. She invented a shrinking device, a space ship (and another two in GT and Super), she can disarm a nuclear weapon, figured out how to turn off the androids, and build a time machine! And while she didn't invent the original Dragonball radar, she did make her own, and was able to make other versions, including the Universal Dragon Radar! And she's almost always mad at someone!

She may not have made the first Dragon Radar(Pilaf's, perhaps), but she did make her own independently before she set out to find the Dragon Balls. And hers was by leaps and bounds better than Pilaf's. She did so by studying the Dragon Ball she found at home that was in storage. And she had made replacements over the years. In Z, the Dragon Radar is redesigned, meaning she likely built a brand new one. Also, Pilaf in Battle of God's and Super is shown to have gotten his hands on one of Bulma's Dragon Radars. It is unclear if this is the one the Red Ribbon Army stole or another that somehow got lost along the way. Either way, Bulma's Dragon Radars are by far the superior ones.
21’s plan is really good, getting the z fighters deal with the confusion to get her away from being a target such as weakened strength, return of villains and clone attacks while she gradually gets stronger from absorbing clones until she thinks that she’s strong enough to deal with the rest

From what I seen, she even created Fu, who was able to use a copy of him to fight both Post Moro Arc Super Saiyan Blue Goku(I say Post Moro because Goku was able to tap into Ultra Instinct at will and increase his health at the same time) and base Banda(The blue haired Saiyan in Xenoverse 2) if I'm lowballing it, Super Saiyan Blue Evolution Bandai if I'm highballing it. Regardless, if Fu was actually made a timebreaker, the Xenoverse timeline would be screwed.
Although I doubt he will be on this list, Goku is a mad genius when it comes to martial arts. Even though in terms of intelligence in areas like science, math etc. he is isn't the smartest tool in the shed, he is a genius in terms of martial arts! Apart from that Merry Christmas everyone!

Ever since 21 debuted, I had the feeling the end goal of Cell was for Gero to upload his mind into, with his Android 20 body being a stopgap measure between Gero's body's death and Cell's completion. So while he couldn't revive his son (16), at least not without dragon balls, he could build an immortal powerful family in himself and 16, with 21 later coming into play. 17 and 18 were prototypes of the final cyborg project, and since their psyches didn't emerge unscathed, 19 was the prototype mechanical body to confirm his mind upload, and presumably the attendant who actually helped him do it.

I can't help but disagree with the number 1 spot as it's so clearly in favor of it being Fu. Fu has shown to be able to take over the Big Gete Star all on his own; the Big Gete Star being a self aware AI and amalgamation of technology and debris spanning across the entire Galaxy and had been floating around through the vacuum of space for EONS. And Fu just takes it without question or difficulty and uses it to make Meta Cooler beat up Cumber. He also improves Meta Cooler, giving him a very substantial amp with a Golden Form capable of fighting and defeating Super Saiyan 3 Cumber. Not only that but Fu is also smart enough to basically manipulate everyone in Heroes for the sake of his experiments, this includes the Core Area Warriors, and both Xeno Goku and Vegeta who are both arguably smarter than their counterparts considering they are from Time Patrol. In Xenoverse 2 he is also able to manipulate the Supreme Kai of Time herself and practically has Time Patrol running around all over time and space to try and stop him, and even then Fu doesn't get defeated or stopped. One decently smart person from Universe 3 who can make strong robots that hit hard shouldn't be above Fu. Too many people downplay him.

But not only did he take part in inventing, he stole and sold many of Dr. Brief's own inventions to rival companies (like the Red Ribbon Army). Once he learned of the Dragon Balls, he stole the blueprints for Bulma's Dragon Radar and quit/abandoned the company. With the technology and wealth acquired from his shady actions and business deals, he creates his own little evil empire. And with Shuu and Mai, he planned to use his illgotten wealth and inventions to find the Dragon Balls first and wish for world domination.
as much as i like Dr.Gero... I don't understand one thing, he kept eye on Goku and friends since Red Ribbon Army destruction, made dragon radar for RR, gathered data, DNA till they left for Namek (and even for some time after because he got Frieza and Cold samples), but he never, NEVER even tried to gather dragon balls.

You forgot about towa and fu (despite you mentioning fu in Dr wheelo's entry) towa literally created a biomechanical warrior created with the basis of the best Warriors from all timelines, organizing attacks across time and space on a regular basis as well as creating masks that not only control but also increade the power of the Desired warrior, as for fu, he literally managed to combine various planets across time and space to create a battleworld of strong Warriors, also he likes to mess with the timelines to see what would happen (kinda like a certain Channel i know), experimenting along the way. So yeah kind of a big thing to miss on this list. Just saiyan.
I feel like Bibidi and Babidi are an odd hybrid of magic and science, since a lot of what they used surrounding the method to which Majin Buu was stirred awake and then revived often came with a strict set of steps and tools. At least an honorable mention should go their way.

I always find Ki Negation Waves unrealistic a$$pull in Dragon Ball fighterz.. it does not affect Deities.. yet it would actually affect the characters that was surpassed beerus like jiren or Broly? It would be believable if it will not work those that posses Perfect Ki Control and little to no ki leakage... for example it would only affect Goku and Vegeta before Whiss trained then
Well, while he and Arale did appear in Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Super, technically they aren't part of the Dragon Ball series. They're their own series that just cameoed in Dragon Ball due to the fact Akira Toriyama created both, and it was mostly just for the sake of comedy.
Id say you forgot Bardock. He wasn’t that good of a fighter, but he was a head scientist and reallyyyy smart to figure out what freezers real intentions were, when no other sayain, yet RACE could find out. Another reason, is because he made goku. The fighter that everyone and universe depends on, and even did something that impressed immortal beings
All this talk of androids makes me think, what if vegeta when the cyber route rather than the majin route to get on par with goku in the buu saga? If he got Bulma to augment him or threatened what was left of red ribbon to do it?
Never been this early before but good video as always. Tbh wasnt expecting the scientist from the Top in here since he felt more just like an average scientist than a genious (or atleast i don't remember the show saying he was evil). Powerful sure but i dont think he did anything that gero couldn't have done. If you recall he made 2 androids (android 13 and cell) that were able to absorb/fise with their fellow androids to get new forms and get stronger. I feel like especially with android 13, he was getting close to being able to fuse whole androids together into one without the need of others dying or one having to be stronger than the others and if he was given more time in the story, he could have pulled something similar off in time.

I will still incist ONE thing on this list was wrong, and that's the size of Dr. Willow's brain. I will ALWAYS insist that is only looked big because of the magnifying effect of the curved tank it was in, and in reality it was likely just regular human brain sized
Android 21 (Good and Evil) is the best DragonBall scientist to me. With the IQ of the most brilliant minds, her intelligence is not to be underestimated. Also Android 21 as a more powerful Bio Android with her insatiable hunger makes her more dangerous to all too. I also like her evil persona more than her good persona. Also you forgot Towa (DragonBall Xenoverse 1 & 2) She'd be my 2nd favorite mad scientist under Android 21 (Evil and Good). Towa created Mira, and she's the mother of Fu and the sister of Dabura.

I always find Ki Negation Waves unrealistic a$$pull in Dragon Ball fighterz.. it does not affect Deities.. yet it would actually affect the characters that was surpassed beerus like jiren or Broly?
It would be believable if it will not work those that posses Perfect Ki Control and little to no ki leakage... for example it would only affect Goku and Vegeta before Whiss trained then

Well, while he and Arale did appear in Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Super, technically they aren't part of the Dragon Ball series. They're their own series that just cameoed in Dragon Ball due to the fact Akira Toriyama created both, and it was mostly just for the sake of comedy.
Id say you forgot Bardock. He wasn’t that good of a fighter, but he was a head scientist and reallyyyy smart to figure out what freezers real intentions were, when no other sayain, yet RACE could find out. Another reason, is because he made goku. The fighter that everyone and universe depends on, and even did something that impressed immortal beings
All this talk of androids makes me think, what if vegeta when the cyber route rather than the majin route to get on par with goku in the buu saga? If he got Bulma to augment him or threatened what was left of red ribbon to do it?

Never been this early before but good video as always. Tbh wasnt expecting the scientist from the Top in here since he felt more just like an average scientist than a genious (or atleast i don't remember the show saying he was evil). Powerful sure but i dont think he did anything that gero couldn't have done. If you recall he made 2 androids (android 13 and cell) that were able to absorb/fise with their fellow androids to get new forms and get stronger. I feel like especially with android 13, he was getting close to being able to fuse whole androids together into one without the need of others dying or one having to be stronger than the others and if he was given more time in the story, he could have pulled something similar off in time.

Android 21 (Good and Evil) is the best DragonBall scientist to me. With the IQ of the most brilliant minds, her intelligence is not to be underestimated. Also Android 21 as a more powerful Bio Android with her insatiable hunger makes her more dangerous to all too. I also like her evil persona more than her good persona. Also you forgot Towa (DragonBall Xenoverse 1 & 2) She'd be my 2nd favorite mad scientist under Android 21 (Evil and Good). Towa created Mira, and she's the mother of Fu and the sister of Dabura.
