I'm not a woman, but I like this video. This is a good idea to help people be intentional about their daily prayer time. I keep a prayer journal/notebook on my kitchen table. Prayer needs to be a routine part of our daily life.
I ordered the pink rose compact Bible, but the font was way too tiny for me to use. So I am using another Bible I already had which is a personal size, and using the same method! I am busy putting in all my tabs after spending time and prayer choosing my scriptures. I am SO excited!!! My husband saw me putting the Bible together and asked what I am doing. I told him I have been " forging a weapon!!" 🤣🤣😂😂
I’m 72, and have known the Lord and began studying His Word since I was 19. I have been praying scripture for quite a while, however, I have to tell you, this idea is so unique & awesome-I can’t wait to put it all together. I, too, am older and a seasoned daughter of The Most High, and I love this! I have many praying tools to help prepare a themed Scripture list. To have a bible prepared/organized like this is a huge benefit!! Can't wait to order supplies! (Tabs, washi tape, etc. )❤✝️

What a powerful weapon! After working on my prayer Bible, I started dreaming about scripture. I removed all the games from my phone as they were a BIG distraction. I have been using my prayer Bible instead whenever I have a moment. This has made a huge impact on my prayer life.
Your video popping up in my feed is a God thing! I have felt SO stagnant in my prayer life for awhile. I homeschool our 8 kids, we have livestock to care for, Im a firefighter, I am running kids to extra curricular activities all week, life can get crazy! Everytime I have a second to pray, my mind is so jumbled I dont even know where to start. THIS could easily be an answer to prayer for me. I need help to focus on my prayers. Why not use your “feed the livestock” time as prayer time. IDK how you feed your animals but In The Beginning God wanted us to subdue the earth and rule over the animals. When you’re feeding your herd of goats (if you have goats) thank God for those kids and your little herd of 8 kids. Thank him for his provision in helping you care for those blessings. If you see an eagle soar across the sky, thank God that in Isaiah his word says that as you wait on him he will renew your strength and you’ll mount up with wings as an eagle. If you are gathering eggs (or however you do it) pray for Jerusalem’s peace “Jerusalem, Jerusalem, how I have longed to gather you up as a mother hen gathers her chicks…” it doesn’t specifically say peace but pray for the Jews that there will be a great hunger to know their Messiah and then you can tag on a few words about peace. If you also harvest crops pray Genesis 1:28. Few ideas to get you started. You don’t have to sit in a chair, fold your hands and close your eyes. God knows how our lives are. Sometimes doing something monotonous like mucking out a horses stall, feeding the animals (since IDK your situation I’m just throwing ideas out), whatever you can do that doesn’t take a lot of brain power you can use the time and even the chore to give you ideas! Your last video inspired me to create a modified version of this by grabbing a tiny sketchbook and adding bible verses on each topic, seperated with scrapbook paper as dividers. You could use a mini notepad, bojo ect... as well . I just like the freedom to decorate each verse, be more focused , have a larger font and they were only about $1-$3. My sister made one too. Mine has 7 topics so far. We did it this way cause it was cheaper (small bibles average $40-$50 where i live ) and less bulky. Thank you soo much for this, it makes a huge difference.
I cut tabs in half so I would have enough and it saves space. I also labeled tabs to find things faster. On a healing tab I put CROSS so I know that tab is scripture talking about what Jesus did on the cross. I find myself reaching for my “sword” often!!!
I bought 3 of the rose colored Bibles. I have 2 friends coming for the weekend in a few weeks, and we are doing this together! Hopefully part 2 will be up soon… but if not, I’m showing them your flip through of the blue Bible. Thank you so much for this. I’m fired up!

I trust in God and keep faith even as I struggle to take care of my children and myself. As a single mother things are so hard on me. Both of my sons are autistic I’m overwhelmed. God please hear my prayers. Father God I’m so tired of constantly struggling to buy groceries and constantly struggling to pay rent. I’m so ashamed and overwhelmed so please be kind. But I choose to have faith over fear as christians that’s all we can do. No matter your struggle, we can turn to God. He knows us personally and can give us strength to overcome our challenges. Faith that God will change my situation.

OMGoodness I have never heard of this before... Definitely the first video that has ever been made regarding this topic on youtube... And honestly I have to say this is genius... Like you I have tried everything from prayer journals to just pulling out my Bible to find the best verse to pray over... Nothing worked for me prayer journals became very lengthy... And just finding the right verse for a friend at the moment took too long to locate... I can't wait to do this because in my opinion I feel that this prayer bible not only will help me with my prayer life, it will help with Bible verse memorization which I tend to have trouble with... Figured if I pray over those verses long enough I will get those verses down and memorized... Just ordered that beautiful pink bible... Super excited...
Thank you for this video! I have been severely depressed since 2019. My Bible reading had become non-existent. It hasn’t been a full week, but everyday since I started working in my Bible, I have become more alive (I had started sleeping too much and withdrawing from life). I just cried tears of joy because I feel like myself and connected with the Lord for the first time since losing my Dad in 2019. I am praying for others with my prayer Bible multiple times a day. The zippered NLT had printing too small so I will give that away at church after I insert some pretty papers and tab it out. I have to think about what to put in the front though. If you are planning to give away the NLT pray about it first. If you just go up to someone and give it with the tabs and everything, they may already have their own method of praying. If I gave that to my friend she would probably accept it but I doubt she’d use it. She keeps a spiral bound notebook like kids use for school homework.
Dear Jessica!!! I am SO EXCITED and grateful to you for this wonderful idea!! I just bought a small Bible for myself, and need to go to Hobby Lobby/Amazon for other supplies! However, I just want to tell you that the Lord has literally answered prayers through this already for two reasons, and I bet more to come! 🌸 My best friend of 45 years is suffering through cancer treatment, and it’s just about impossible to find a way to celebrate her upcoming birthday. She cannot go out for lunch (that was our tradition), and gift giving has been a challenge. I’m planning on choosing 3-5 themes to get her started (healing, attributes, trust, etc.) I’ll choose a Bible that she would like and match the tabs to her taste!! ❤️❤️❤️ 🌸 Next Summer, my daughter and three children will be moving with their Lieutenant Navy Chaplain husband/father. They will be stationed in Pearl Harbor, and my son-in-love will be deployed on a ship for 6-9 months. We are yielding the sword in God's armor. His word is the truth. Jesus used it against Satan in the wilderness and he fled. The enemy cannot stand against God's word. While watching your highly inspiring videos, I started to feel overwhelmed about capturing every verse for every theme, but then it occurred to me as something that could be created seasonally to capture the themes that are needed for the current season of life. Would also make great keepsake and something to hand down to children as they walk down the same seasons in their lives. Thank you for sharing this!
You can pause her video and write stuff down. Sometimes I bring up the time bar (IDK what the official term for the red bar at the bottom of the 1:08 video is) and just move the little dot back a bit and relisten . When you get to the part you need pause it and start writing. I’ve had to do that a few times before I get everything I want written down.

I am making one for myself, and it dawned on me at the end of your video, to make one for my son strictly on anxiety, and if he likes it he can carry on his own themes afterwards. What a gift. I also want to do ones for my grandchildren. Maybe one theme for each child, and they can carry on the other themes that are important to them.✝️❤️

I love your videos! It's awesome that you talked about the attributes of God and praying those. I did that this morning. I still don't have my bible all tabbed. It has given me more of a hunger to be in God's word and pick out the areas I want to pray over and the people I want to pray for and the areas in their life they need prayed over. I could work in my Bible for hours! I cried and cried this morning speaking out loud the attributes of God. It made me realize just how wonderful he is. I'm telling the ladies at church about these videos❤
Where can I get a list of your themes? I’m an organizer, planner, etc and the list of themes is overwhelming to me. I could see me wanting to add more scripture lists than my Bible will hold. I guess I need help getting started. Do you have your themes and scriptures someplace where we can look at them. I know our scriptures that we highlight in our own Bible will be different according to our prayer needs but I just need a starting point. I hope I made sense there!! Thank you so much. @@ruthmk That’s awesome!! 😃 It’s almost 3 AM and I’m working on my Prayer Bible. I decided to look through my ribbon knickknack drawers and I found some lovely things. I’m using some really pretty ivory lace material that I saved and lovely sunflower ribbon that I bought on clearance a while ago. I’m putting it on top of washy tape that I used as a tab but don’t love. I’m using Glue Runner Tape to apply it on top of the washi tape. I added some dragonfly dangles and a 🐝 dangle. I really see it coming to life. There is so much that you can do to make it your own Living Prayer. 🙏
@@ruthmk Oh and I used ivory washi fabric ribbon tape (from Amazon) to mark the New Testament. I really love the look and it also makes it easier for me to find the Scriptures. I don’t really know the Bible and it’s why I joined the Sisteritas. I want to deepen my Spiritual Life. I am starting on my compact/purse prayer bible, and then I'm going to make them for family members. This is a wonderful way to encourage brother's and sisters to harness the power of God's Holy Word. I have family members who although they are saved, still hesitate to read/study/meditate on the Word. I know this will help them on their journey to becoming prayer warriors. I was Baptized in Jesus name and Received the holy Ghost (which is God in me )as God gave me the utterance.. Actts salvation. This is how i accepted christ as my savior. I was 9 years old when i got baptized in Jesus name and i was 10 when i was so lost in praying i lost the time of how long i was in prayer and i heard myself speaking in another language nobody taught me but as i said i was so lost in pouring my heart out to God. Ill never forget ghe experience.
I have recently come back to my faith. For 2 weeks I have been voraciously attending to my bible and prayer. This idea came up in my feed and it is honestly an answer to a prayer! This is so helpful towards focusing prayer to areas you need it to be. I’ve already picked out my bible and am getting started in designing my themes and such. Can’t wait to get started with it!

Great video! You can use Prayer Bibles for a long time and don’t stop using the Prayer Bibles when you’re done you can continue to using it for a long time!!

I’ve had it in my heart to start reading the Bible more. I’ve starting a routine of trying to read the Bible in the morning while I sip on a cup of coffee and just have that alone time with God. I’m so happy and excited that I came across your video. I just subscribed. I want to buy a English translation so it will be easier to read and understand. I want to make a prayer Bible . May i add a suggestion. After decades of using different types of highlighters in different Bibles (different types of paper), i found Crayola Twistables coloered pencils. There are 2 sizes, and tons of colors - to match with theme tabs. They dont bleed through. Can twist the tip down so it doesn't break. They are gread Bible highlighters!

I'm not a woman, but I like this video. This is a good idea to help people be intentional about their daily prayer time. I keep a prayer journal/notebook on my kitchen table. Prayer needs to be a routine part of our daily life.

I ordered the pink rose compact Bible, but the font was way too tiny for me to use. So I am using another Bible I already had which is a personal size, and using the same method! I am busy putting in all my tabs after spending time and prayer choosing my scriptures. I am SO excited!!! My husband saw me putting the Bible together and asked what I am doing. I told him I have been " forging a weapon!!" 🤣🤣😂😂

At this point in my life, theyre so desperate for any reaction the moment i get out of bed they start bombarding me with covert/passive-aggressive harassment tactics. I, too, am older and a seasoned daughter of The Most High, and I love this! I have many praying tools to help prepare a themed Scripture list. To have a bible prepared/organized like this is a huge benefit!! Can't wait to order supplies! (Tabs, washi tape, etc. )❤✝️

What a powerful weapon! After working on my prayer Bible, I started dreaming about scripture. I removed all the games from my phone as they were a BIG distraction. I have been using my prayer Bible instead whenever I have a moment. This has made a huge impact on my prayer life.
Your video popping up in my feed is a God thing! I have felt SO stagnant in my prayer life for awhile. I homeschool our 8 kids, we have livestock to care for, Im a firefighter, I am running kids to extra curricular activities all week, life can get crazy! Everytime I have a second to pray, my mind is so jumbled I dont even know where to start. THIS could easily be an answer to prayer for me. I need help to focus on my prayers. God Bless and thank you for this video!
Why not use your “feed the livestock” time as prayer time. IDK how you feed your animals but In The Beginning God wanted us to subdue the earth and rule over the animals. When you’re feeding your herd of goats (if you have goats) thank God for those kids and your little herd of 8 kids. Thank him for his provision in helping you care for those blessings. If you see an eagle soar across the sky, thank God that in Isaiah his word says that as you wait on him he will renew your strength and you’ll mount up with wings as an eagle. If you are gathering eggs (or however you do it) pray for Jerusalem’s peace “Jerusalem, Jerusalem, how I have longed to gather you up as a mother hen gathers her chicks…” it doesn’t specifically say peace but pray for the Jews that there will be a great hunger to know their Messiah and then you can tag on a few words about peace. If you also harvest crops pray Genesis 1:28.
Few ideas to get you started. You don’t have to sit in a chair, fold your hands and close your eyes. God knows how our lives are. Sometimes doing something monotonous like mucking out a horses stall, feeding the animals (since IDK your situation I’m just throwing ideas out), whatever you can do that doesn’t take a lot of brain power you can use the time and even the chore to give you ideas! Your last video inspired me to create a modified version of this by grabbing a tiny sketchbook and adding bible verses on each topic, seperated with scrapbook paper as dividers. You could use a mini notepad, bojo ect... as well . I just like the freedom to decorate each verse, be more focused , have a larger font and they were only about $1-$3. My sister made one too. Mine has 7 topics so far. We did it this way cause it was cheaper (small bibles average $40-$50 where i live ) and less bulky. Thank you soo much for this, it makes a huge difference.

I cut tabs in half so I would have enough and it saves space. I also labeled tabs to find things faster. On a healing tab I put CROSS so I know that tab is scripture talking about what Jesus did on the cross.

I trust in God and keep faith even as I struggle to take care of my children and myself. As a single mother things are so hard on me. Both of my sons are autistic I’m overwhelmed. God please hear my prayers. Father God I’m so tired of constantly struggling to buy groceries and constantly struggling to pay rent. I’m so ashamed and overwhelmed so please be kind. But I choose to have faith over fear as christians that’s all we can do. No matter your struggle, we can turn to God. He knows us personally and can give us strength to overcome our challenges. Faith that God will change my situation.

OMGoodness I have never heard of this before... Definitely the first video that has ever been made regarding this topic on youtube... And honestly I have to say this is genius... Like you I have tried everything from prayer journals to just pulling out my Bible to find the best verse to pray over... Nothing worked for me prayer journals became very lengthy... And just finding the right verse for a friend at the moment took too long to locate... I can't wait to do this because in my opinion I feel that this prayer bible not only will help me with my prayer life, it will help with Bible verse memorization which I tend to have trouble with... Figured if I pray over those verses long enough I will get those verses down and memorized... Just ordered that beautiful pink bible... Super excited...
Thank you for this video! I have been severely depressed since 2019. My Bible reading had become non-existent. It hasn’t been a full week, but everyday since I started working in my Bible, I have become more alive (I had started sleeping too much and withdrawing from life). I just cried tears of joy because I feel like myself and connected with the Lord for the first time since losing my Dad in 2019. I am praying for others with my prayer Bible multiple times a day. The zippered NLT had printing too small so I will give that away at church after I insert some pretty papers and tab it out. I have to think about what to put in the front though. If you are planning to give away the NLT pray about it first. If you just go up to someone and give it with the tabs and everything, they may already have their own method of praying. If I gave that to my friend she would probably accept it but I doubt she’d use it. She keeps a spiral bound notebook like kids use for school homework.
Dear Jessica!!! I am SO EXCITED and grateful to you for this wonderful idea!! I just bought a small Bible for myself, and need to go to Hobby Lobby/Amazon for other supplies! However, I just want to tell you that the Lord has literally answered prayers through this already for two reasons, and I bet more to come!
🌸 My best friend of 45 years is suffering through cancer treatment, and it’s just about impossible to find a way to celebrate her upcoming birthday. She cannot go out for lunch (that was our tradition), and gift giving has been a challenge. While watching your highly inspiring videos, I started to feel overwhelmed about capturing every verse for every theme, but then it occurred to me as something that could be created seasonally to capture the themes that are needed for the current season of life. Would also make great keepsake and something to hand down to children as they walk down the same seasons in their lives.

Sometimes I bring up the time bar (IDK what the official term for the red bar at the bottom of the 1:08 video is) and just move the little dot back a bit and relisten . When you get to the part you need pause it and start writing. I’ve had to do that a few times before I get everything I want written down.

I am making one for myself, and it dawned on me at the end of your video, to make one for my son strictly on anxiety, and if he likes it he can carry on his own themes afterwards. What a gift. I love your videos! It's awesome that you talked about the attributes of God and praying those. I did that this morning. I still don't have my bible all tabbed. It has given me more of a hunger to be in God's word and pick out the areas I want to pray over and the people I want to pray for and the areas in their life they need prayed over. I could work in my Bible for hours! I cried and cried this morning speaking out loud the attributes of God. It made me realize just how wonderful he is. Where can I get a list of your themes? I’m an organizer, planner, etc and the list of themes is overwhelming to me. I could see me wanting to add more scripture lists than my Bible will hold. I guess I need help getting started. Do you have your themes and scriptures someplace where we can look at them. I know our scriptures that we highlight in our own Bible will be different according to our prayer needs but I just need a starting point. I hope I made sense there!! Thank you so much. @@ruthmk That’s awesome!! 😃 It’s almost 3 AM and I’m working on my Prayer Bible. I decided to look through my ribbon knickknack drawers and I found some lovely things. I’m using some really pretty ivory lace material that I saved and lovely sunflower ribbon that I bought on clearance a while ago. I’m putting it on top of washy tape that I used as a tab but don’t love. I’m using Glue Runner Tape to apply it on top of the washi tape. I added some dragonfly dangles and a 🐝 dangle. I really see it coming to life. There is so much that you can do to make it your own Living Prayer. 🙏
@@ruthmk Oh and I used ivory washi fabric ribbon tape (from Amazon) to mark the New Testament. I really love the look and it also makes it easier for me to find the Scriptures. I don’t really know the Bible and it’s why I joined the Sisteritas. I want to deepen my Spiritual Life. I was Baptized in Jesus name and Received the holy Ghost (which is God in me )as God gave me the utterance.. Actts salvation. This is how i accepted christ as my savior. I was 9 years old when i got baptized in Jesus name and i was 10 when i was so lost in praying i lost the time of how long i was in prayer and i heard myself speaking in another language nobody taught me but as i said i was so lost in pouring my heart out to God. Ill never forget ghe experience.

I have recently come back to my faith. For 2 weeks I have been voraciously attending to my bible and prayer. This idea came up in my feed and it is honestly an answer to a prayer! This is so helpful towards focusing prayer to areas you need it to be. I’ve already picked out my bible and am getting started in designing my themes and such. Can’t wait to get started with it!

I’ve had it in my heart to start reading the Bible more. I’ve starting a routine of trying to read the Bible in the morning while I sip on a cup of coffee and just have that alone time with God. May i add a suggestion. After decades of using different types of highlighters in different Bibles (different types of paper), i found Crayola Twistables coloered pencils. There are 2 sizes, and tons of colors - to match with theme tabs. They dont bleed through. Can twist the tip down so it doesn't break. They are gread Bible highlighters!
