This is a Copper driven map "about navigating the ruins of a
floating civilization and fighting its new tenants, with an
interconnected layout inspired by the tropes of Fromsoftware
level design." The music is "Blue Lagoon" by Jesús Lastra.
This video uses the updated "Alternate Quake Music" pack at the end, to avoid
copyright claim garbage. You can get it here: www.quaketastic...
I have never seen such a meticulous and methodical quake player.
As someone who hasn't really been paying attention to Quake 1 since the 90's, it's interesting to see how pretty a new Quake map can be. Could easily be some modern indie game.
I believe there actually is an indie game (Wrath: Aeon of Ruin) that's built in a modified version of the Quake engine, and it looks pretty cool.
What a beautiful map. Definitely one I'll have to play for myself!
Gotta love these "floating in the sky" levels... now we just need one with Lucy and some diamonds
Yes sir 100% completion feels good
Just beat this map. Design wise, I love it! The only issue is that the mapmaker has placed one too many health pickups 😅
this map is definitely perfect, could I change some textures and use this map in my game ?
Huh? I am not Chris "1600frogs" Brady. That question needs to be directed to him. He possibly included his email in the read_me.
@@GreenwoodQuake ohi got it thanks for help
What mod do you use for the shotgun animation?
No mod, just a custom model from my mild model pack: drive.google.com/file/d/1WkbrwwEx2JMkhCyaFbX7sCzjPGrPJUp6/view?usp=sharing
Thanks 😁
how to unlock green colors ? in Quaqe pallete
There are greens in the Quake palette; however, they are just not used often. Also, using colored lighting can greatly enhance matters! They can make some of those limited, less saturated greens more rich & vivid.
You CAN alter the Quake palette in code; however, that can yield wacky results in textures not designed for that change. A GOOD example of that is Func Map Jam 8: Film Noir (see Quaddicted). They went with a B&W theme with a few red highlights, to create a vintage movie feel. I did a video on one of those maps here: ruclips.net/video/Nxo_qUP2ln4/видео.html
