- Are you looking to install a second SSD or HDD in your Windows 10 desktop PC? In this tutorial, I will show you how to install a new second drive in your Windows 10 PC. I will also show you how to activate or initialize the disk and set it up. 73 yr senior here, I had a128 gb ssd on my system, saw a sale on Prime Day & bought a extra 2TB 2 1/2 drive to install. All cables hooked up easily but system didn't see my new SSD. Watched your video and it walked me right thru how to set

sick, all i saw on resutls were brand new setups of pc for your memory, but this was my exact situation! already had a 1tb memory but just bough a new 500gb ssd and was worried I kept seeing people say back everything up and reboot windows like from scratch thank god u saved me from the headache of saving a whole ass computer!

Thank you! I just installed my first SSD myself. I tucked it in housing where was space for 3,5" SSD but as it's laying still I don't need bracket for 2,5". Thank you. This was helpful. I mean I knew about allocation, just wanted to know about cables.

M.2 250GB which is my disk C, I have 1TB HDD and for Steam library I installed this new SSD. It's Kingston A400 960GB Sata III SSD.
