- Are you looking to install a second SSD or HDD in your Windows 10 desktop PC? In this tutorial, I will show you how to install a new second drive in your Windows 10 PC. I will also show you how to activate or initialize the disk and set it up. 73 yr senior here, I had a128 gb ssd on my system, saw a sale on Prime Day & bought a extra 2TB 2 1/2 drive to install. All cables hooked up easily but system didn't see my new SSD. Watched your video and it walked me right thru how to set

This video was REALLY helpful, thanks so much for making it. I bought a 1TB Samsung 860 EVO drive to upgrade my desktop pc. I couldn't get the Samsung cloning software to work. So I then bought a 1TB Crucial drive which cloned my original drive perfectly using Acronis software. Now I've installed the Samsung EVO as a second SSD with the help of your video. Many thanks.

Been years since I've installed a HD. First time installing a SSD, and only as a secondary drive. Did the physical installation, powered up my PC, checked the BIOS to make sure the drive was connected, booted up Windows...no drive.. Google is my friend, your video came up right at the top, jumped straight to activation, got my new SSD active in just a couple minutes.

Wow. Perfect instructions. Just installed 2TB WD Blue. it's not solid state but no problem. My computer is 7 years old and still going strong. Not store bought, I built is myself (last time for this as I am getting old.)

I'm pleased to find this to be as straightforward as I thought, but always better to check with someone who knows what they're talking about before I go poking around my machine without really knowing what I'm doing with it haha.
