Btw if you were wondering WHY exactly the TNT did so little damage, I'm pretty sure there are 2 reasons:
1: the tnt lands inside the bowl-shaped bedrock thing, so it is about 8 blocks away from the dragon
2: the hit-cooldown on the dragon doesn't allow for it to be hit so many times in a given amount of time, which is why changing the delays increased the damage slightly
also, i think its cause the initial explosions launch him up in the air and the secondary explosions dont touch him at all
@@fercabrb4843 While he is on the bedrock pile in the middle, he cant be pushed up by anything except teleportation.
The dragon also takes 4x less damage whenever it gets hit on the body.

More TNT doesn't affect it as much because it mostly all goes off at the same time and mobs are invincible for .5 seconds after they're hit.

Epic Own Gaming Productions the ender dragon could also be knocked back before the the reset of the tnt explodes
Little thing : when an entity (ender dragon) take damage, it has something like 1-2 ticks of invincibility, so if all of the tnt don't explose AT the exact same frame, something like 3 quarter of it don't do anything

Endermen, being impossible to kill with projectiles due to teleportation mechanics: 👀
they were actually killed. becuase there were so many arrows the enderman teleported to a spot where they would still get hit

@@inputoutput-hd7jl As @Turtle Human said, endermen don't get damaged by arrows. This can be demonstrated by putting an enderman into a boat and shooting it as it can't teleport out.
He put harming potions in with it though. You can see the particles

well theoretically it is possible to kill the dragon with arrows & redstone (they just shouldnt be spawned by droppers lol). if you build a big tnt-cannon and shoot an arrow in it yourself, it could be used to kill the dragon in few or even one hit (yes, the cannon would have to be gigantic)

You need potions of HEALING not DAMAGE.
Arrows will not work...
The reason why you dealt the same amount of damage to the dragon no matter how much TNT you used it because the TNT launches the dragon away. That means it takes the same amount of damage before being flung out of range no matter how much you use.

I never realized the ender dragon was an undead mob, since healing potions only hurt undead mobs

The charged creepers are the key. Make a charged creeper farm near the end portal, set it up to feed into a machine that dispenses them into the portal one by one, put a delay on the lever that activates the machine, hit the lever and go through the portal, use pistons and slime blocks to make a launcher aimed at the middle, stand by the launcher and activate it every time a creeper’s fuse passes the point of no return
You could use a tripwire and repeaters to automate the launcher, making it an AFK redstone ender dragon ender that eliminates the high risk of human error on the part of the gunner, but if you have mobgriefing on then this gives the dragon a bigger window in which to spike your gun

Mumbo I think he survived the TNT because he got launched away before all the TNT exploded, launching him out of the explosion radius. For sake of example, let's say it only takes 20 TNT to launch him out of the TNT's radius. Any TNT number above 20 will do the same damage as 20, since every extra TNT that explodes is far away from the Ender Dragon.
Not to mention half of the TNT just got blasted away
yEqualsNived he needs to make the TNT explode at the same time so she gets blasted away while taking the full impact
A precisley timed attack with tnt placed at different heights and multiple explosions might be the answer, so it gets another blow of tnt at exactly the right time.
TBNRTurtle God TNT is unable to explode at the same time as another TNT. They all explode milliseconds apart from each other.
maybe play enderdragon ping pong, launching dragon from place to place timed just right and hope that it's fast enough that can do so without ai pulling it away

The question was rhetorical
The video and gus’ original comment specifically state “redstone”. The charged creepers are not redstone based, and therefore bear no relevance on the topic. If he spawned a sword and stabbed the dragon to death it would be the same. Not redstone, not relevant.

I have two things to say:
1. I’m pretty sure mobs have a time limit for how fast they can take individual “hits.”
2. Use command block to give yourself piece of Redstone with Sharpness 10000. Then hit the dragon with it.
Bonus: Alternatively, give the Redstone Knockback 10000 to send the dragon into unloaded chunks. It would never come back as long as you don’t get near it 👍 That’s a win for me
