And if ukraine is doing better then expected yet still losing and everyone knew they had a far smaller population and that western stockpiles would only last so long doesnt this mean the ukrainians were decieved into thinking they ever had a chance in the first place?

So lets play this out: if ukraine struggled so much to get funding this year and stockpiles are gone and industrial output expansion wont even match what ukraine is using now how are they going to get funding? Were is the ammo actually going to come from and how many will be left to use it? Anyone noticing a trend here?

Given Ukraine's manpower shortage, why on earth does it limit conscription to men 25 and older?! Very recently Ukraine lowered its conscription age from 27 to 25, but 25 is still 7 whole years past the age that men in the US have long been subject to conscription: age 18. Moreover, when the US has conscripted its 18-year olds, it had them fight in wars for OTHER countries (e.g., Korea, Vietnam, France, Britain, etc.). If the US is willing to conscript its 18-year olds to fight for other countries, why is Ukraine unwilling to conscript its 18-24 year olds to fight for its own survival?!?!

Because they don’t want a Soviet ‘lost generation’. After WW2 the Soviet Union had almost no working age men. Babies and elderly only, and most of the women were the same story.

If you go without you need more then double to get back to where you were and ukraine is not even getting half what they had before and even if they were it wasnt enough in the first place which is why nobody wanted to continue funding originally and western leaders know it but they have a US election in the balance.
