How To Come Up With A Good RUclips Name:
#1 Start by asking what is the focus of my channel?
a) What kind of videos are you going to be creating?
b) What specific niche are you going to focus on?
c) TIP: Usually the more focused the better.
#2 Check to see if your name is available on RUclips and the URL (because someday you may want a legit website around your name)
a) Go to www.godaddy.com/ and see if the .com is available
b) Type in / nameidea with your name idea to see if it is available
c) Do the same test on the other social networks
#3 Do a brain storming session with www.thesaurus.com/
a) combos can help come up with a great name
b) Adjective + Niche. For example: RockinRealEstate or CrazyCooking or BeautyWithBecky or AfterEffectsWithAustin.

My name is Paul (Carter), but at University in the '80s I picked up the nickname 'Cyclone Cyd'. Now, if you were a world championship snooker fan back then, you'd 'get' that, lol!

Especially if you have already built some influence in different social media platforms and websites all with the same name, it would just make sense and "marketing sense" to continue with that name on RUclips as well.
I like the play on words of having a last name that is like a common word. Mines as in Mine and I just like the way it fits with other words for branding the way other last names might not. I am working on two separate chanels because I needed to narrow things down. a mommy chanel called mines mommy and a financial chanel called mines plentiful life.
Who needs punctuation marks and line breaks? (It's really hard to read like that)

The mistake I made with my own username is that I made it seem like all I do is play Sonic games, or more specifically Sonic and the Black Knight (which I haven't even played on my channel lol). On the other hand, though, it should get it across that I am a gaming channel, just more broad than I make it seem.
