well it is a martial arts that is actualy still trained with turnaments and competitions. sure normally they wear at least fencing protection but that doesn't mean that they aren't ablet to do it without and just don't aim for the body/head hit. also these swords are blunt weapons or the swords would bind together way "stickier" than shown.

No, they were bring back the industry from the bottom. 15-20 years back all games were like KCD. How to move something forward which was already there in the past.

i feel like this is one way they could really make combos more incentivized in the sequel. maybe make them apply debuffs/stuns to enemies so a skilled player can manage groups easier by target swapping. I’m pretty sure in the first game some combos made people bleed and stuff but expand on it. combos weren’t really REQUIRED in combat in the first game, but they still felt awesome to execute, and rewarding. seems like the same approach is used, which isn’t bad, but the animations look truly amazing. I can’t wait to do a full pugilist build, here’s hoping there’s spiked gauntlets or something like that LOL.

It took three weeks for me to be bored enough to give myself an excuse to watch what I thought was going to be a very hokey marketing bit. This is an incredibly fun and wholesome marketing bit that I thoroughly enjoyed. Tom and Luke are just incredible actors that are able to seamlessly weave between “Tom and Luke” and “Henry and Hans”. They’re able to pull off video game “easter egg” (fan service?) bits in such a natural way that it works with no familiarity with KCD. The beard bit. Shoutout Warhorse writers especially for creating a wonderful narrative that serves as the glue holding one of the most hokey and janky ass works of art I’ve ever loved. I don’t effort post on YT. It’s kinda stupid. That said, the only game I’ve ever played more than KCD is RDR2, and that’s for the same reasons. An incredible world I can just live in for a while, especially when going through, you know, shit. Whatever. I would be embarrassed from afar at this kind of marketing from any other studio. I haven’t been a “gamer” for almost 20 years. This was super wholesome and a real joy to watch. Kudos to Tom and Luke, Kudos to Warhorse from an avid fan of their art, and an avid consumer looking forward to KCD 2’s insanely janky release. One love.

This is a prime example where the promotion of an upcoming game is better than many blockbuster games itself. Unique, funny and even delivering many hints on the gameplay. The big game studios should take note of this.

Thirty seconds in and this game has beaten most modern games in dialogue. I’m about to spend all of January in a KCD hole to complete it fully before KCD 2 comes out. These past three months have had games that remind what it is to be a gamer. Thank you Warhorse.

So I just Bought KC:D for 6 dollars, I played free weekend years ago, but never got into it, cause I didn't do story and listen to my dad, This time I did, I AM ADDICTED, i LOVE THIS GAME. Wow! Love the archery , almost level 5, hope I can draw bow better then lol. Having so much fun!
I never liked games in this era. Never like games that contain sword fighting. Not really into real life simulations. Two weeks ago I stumbled on Kingdom come: Deliverance. What a game! I fell in love, I am still in love. Within two weeks I, as an employed person, have played the game for 106 hours right now and bought two copies of it (PS5 and PC). Finished the game (main story and quite some side quests) and I just started my second run. Whatever you guys have done is just magic. This game is pure magic, it felt like my first time laying hands on a controller and falling in love with it! I cannot wait for KCD2, PRE-ORDER on its way. If there is one company that deserves it, it's you guys!
I play it right now too. I've been worried about taking care of food, sleeping, dog. But it all is balanced so good. You feel no rush but also you need to keep an eye on this. Days are not too long and not too short. There;s ton of hear put in this game and it's clearly visible.
The combat look so much better than the first game the impact the blood the animations the fluidity the sound and there isn’t slowmo every 2.2 seconds anymore gg guys !
@@Anthony90026 Beginning is difficult - have patience. Turn "simplified lockpicking" on immediately. Try to avoid unnecessary combat with armed enemies until you get *proper* training. Practice the combat with the *proper* trainer until you "master" your weapon of choice. Archery is tough to get a hang of, too. Don't use a bow you're aren't strong enough to use properly (your stats) - it'll only make it harder. Other than that, have fun.

I never liked games in this era. Never like games that contain sword fighting. Not really into real life simulations.
Two weeks ago I stumbled on Kingdom come: Deliverance. What a game! I fell in love, I am still in love. Within two weeks I, as an employed person, have played the game for 106 hours right now and bought two copies of it (PS5 and PC).
Finished the game (main story and quite some side quests) and I just started my second run.
Whatever you guys have done is just magic. This game is pure magic, it felt like my first time laying hands on a controller and falling in love with it!
I cannot wait for KCD2, PRE-ORDER on its way.
If there is one company that deserves it, it's you guys!

I play it right now too. I've been worried about taking care of food, sleeping, dog. But it all is balanced so good. You feel no rush but also you need to keep an eye on this. Days are not too long and not too short. There;s ton of hear put in this game and it's clearly visible.
The combat look so much better than the first game the impact the blood the animations the fluidity the sound and there isn’t slowmo every 2.2 seconds anymore gg guys !

@@Anthony90026 Beginning is difficult - have patience. Turn "simplified lockpicking" on immediately. Try to avoid unnecessary combat with armed enemies until you get *proper* training. Practice the combat with the *proper* trainer until you "master" your weapon of choice. Archery is tough to get a hang of, too. Don't use a bow you're aren't strong enough to use properly (your stats) - it'll only make it harder.
Other than that, have fun.
@@Anthony90026 listen to the combat masters when they say “No one becomes a master swordsman over night” “You have to practice and train hard” and “Nothing is better than experience; believe me”.
