I’ve had this carbon wing for 8 years now. Always wondered about fuel economy when I make highway trips. Always goes up above 110kph, can’t see out back window. Maybe will go back to original.

Not sure if i like it, but good job improvising. Another thing i noticed is the reflector on the frontwings. This is really ugly and thank god i live in europe. I don’t have those ugly ass things on my f34.

Looking to do the same wing to me new (to me 17k miles) 340xi GT Msport. You probably could have used an open end wrench the size of the torqs or even better a ratchet and swivel!
@@roscoes-wetsuit1 the 340 GT has been pretty good. Fun and super practical for the family. Few reliability things but nothing too major. Let me know if your concerned about anything specific!
@@roscoes-wetsuit1 only have about 25k on it now. I had a charge pipe crack and cause an intermittent studdering issue that was hard to trace. Finally went to dealer and they diagnosed and fixed in 2 days. Not bad like 400 with labor and parts total. Weird AC freeze up issues in the summer (known 3series issue) when super humid out, controller for my infotainment goes banana sometimes, but so intermittent it's hard to trace the issue (software or the controller). But as a whole the car is good, spanks much faster cars at my local autocross with some potenzas on 19s.
looks great !!! but it has a different shape, and the Germans are practical people and clearly chose the necessary shape. Do you think you didn't make aerodynamics worse?
There definitely is more drag, but my friend Liam actually says when he raises the wing at high cornering speeds he can feel the rear end grip more due to the drag. There’s a slight trade off I’d say. -A very slight decrease in fuel economy/acceleration and top speed -an increase in handling and braking

Pretty much anything for the N20 will work, charge pipes I believe are special for the F34. Liam picked up a JB4 for his on burger tuning

I believe about 2 weeks at the time, but it seems there’s always shipping delays and supply shortages now a days.
