Asalaamu alaikum, hayyakumAllaah. JazakAllahu khairan for sharing. How do you break the sihr when it is buried in a different country and an individual can not go to that place? BaarakAllahu feekum

Wa Alaykumussalam. We forwarded your question to Shaykh Abu Ubaid. He responded:
During the legislated Ruqya treatments proactively intend within the heart to burn all the sources of dark magic wherever they maybe. If You know of their places and cannot reach them, try to slaughter any one of the livestock animals (goat, sheep, bull, camel) with the Name of Allāh and feed the local poor people there, with the intention that Allāh undoes and destroys all the magic within that particular place/land. if You can afford it, keep slaughtering and feeding people every Friday (or whenever You can afford) with the above intention, until You feel the magic has been destroyed. After the cure, feed the people -especially the destitute- out of gratitude towards Allāh - 'Azza wa Jalla- that the magic has been undone.
May Allāh cure You, protect You, make You amongst His devoted worshippers and a role model for Your community! Allāhumma Ãmeen!!
