@Dillon Bergman First thing, there is a difference between just meeting someone and going to lunch, and asking for a date. It's less pressure to say let's go to lunch or coffee or something, than say, let's go on a date.

I love the idea that as soon as his parents were married Dan fell out of the sky into his mother's arms.
Mom: I guess we're parents now. What do you want to name him?
Dad: Eeeyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy, Dan?
Mom: Leigh Daniel Avadan. It's beautiful.
I just wanted to say, I watched this and thought it was super cute. I was like "wow, I wonder if they're from NY because of how they drew the subway stuff so well" only to see QC pop up at the end. I was like "wait, I know that place!" (I went there too!)

A funny story how my parents met properly was in a club once and she saw my dad and she felt a cool vibe from my dad
So as she approached my dad she asked if he had a light for a smoke. But my mom never smoked she needed a reason to start a convo
so as she asked this one of her friends came behind her and said she does have one. And my mom furiously turned around and quitly sissed "not from you"
And after that my mom and dad started meeting regularly at nearby clubs and went on vacation couple of times and then as dan said boom marraige me

Ok I have the same thing my mum was in Australia ( from America) on exchange. And my dad was super quite and his best friend dragged him out of the house to play, Dungeons and dragons. The girl he sat next to was my mum. A lot of county hopping then bam boom marrage, my sister and me. Nice to know that may not be in your country but out there is the someone for you.
