I left my heart in San Francisco ... Hey Traveler. A June flight, Eastbound to DFW. Are you accruing points on the way home again? Or just flying around for shits and giggles ?? Oh cool, you aren't departing from the butt end of space at SFO - The farthest gate away from the terminal. (I know I've departed from there myself) I guess his foot momentarily slipped off the gas pedal there on takeoff !! On the West Plan today. Death Valley - Navajo Nation - Santa Fe - on into DFW. Gear Drop: 2:50:52. Is it me, or does it seem a rule of thumb that they drop the gear well out prior to final. I've noticed that pilots will drop the gear and extend flaps to full well before they reach final approach. I know it is because if there might be a gear issue and all, but usually they fly a long way with the gear hanging.
Anytime you see me on a Oneworld carrier, I'm accumulating miles haha. Oneworld, and more specifically Alaska Airlines is currently who I hold my highest level of status with. So anytime I'm on American or Alaska you can be sure I'm working on requalifying for that Oneworld Sapphire status.
the SFO airport is a very cool airport with the location. Great views taking off and a great and wild view landing- almost as if your gonna land in the water. Do you have a favorite airport to land and take off at?
@@GarlandTexasSpotter2024I think the brake could have been intentional for whatever reason but I have never seen them pull the power back, idk what was that about
Does American have In Flight Entertainment. I recently flew Delta and watched Aladdin of all movies to pass the time. If it wasnt for that I would have went crazy, because dude next to me begged me to keep the windows closed or it would make him sick. I indulged him that time but next time Im keeping the window blinds open cuz I pay extra to choose a window seat. I dont like feeling locked in.
American has the "bring your own screen" IFE. They let you connect to the wifi for free and can then access their library of shows, movies, and music. As long as you have a wifi capable device, you can connect. They do not have any built in IFE in the backs of their seats.
Ah yes, I’m sure you’re right. I’ve been replying to comments for hours now trying to get caught up from being in the air for 4 days, and my tired brain read IAE instead of IFE for some reason 🤪. So no, no IFE on American A321NEO’s but Delta and United both do have IFE on their NEO’s.
Great fly! Have you heard Boeing's machinists union is currently on strike after rejecting 25% pay rise over 4 years and union voted 96% voted to approve the strike? What do you think?
Yes, I saw that. I mean... Any job I've ever had I would've loved a 25% raise over 4 years... So, I don't really know all of the details of their situation, but that sounds pretty good to me haha.
I thought for a second that you had had one too many pre-flight martini's - showing Delta aircraft when your video heading was American - lol - but then your aircraft pulled in to the gate. Tks.
@@redlinerumble3Oooo 😂. I was very confused but now I understand. Easily the A320 series over the 737 any day. Now keep in mind this is coming from someone who flies more 737’s than any other aircraft every year, but that’s because I keep status on both Alaska Airlines and Southwest Airlines. If given a choice though I prefer flying on A320 series aircraft though.
LOL @ Onboard Service. Please, American Airlines don't go through any trouble. OMG, remember the good ole days when they would bring a cooked roast out and carve it right in front of you. Where's Pam Ann when you need her.
US airlines in general are a shell of what they used to be, but American in particular. American is essentially the Frontier of the legacy carriers at this point. Thanks for watching my friend!
I flew into sfo last month. It’s good to see all the terminals are finally interconnected airside.
Yes! And LAX is now the same too. Finally haha.
I can binge watch this channel all day.
the views on departure were just top tier
I flown N429AN from Newark to Dallas on moving day last August 2023.
13:56 oh wow that engine sounds is awesome!
Glad you enjoyed it my friend! Thanks for watching!
Very nice landing 🛬
Thanks for watching!
Looks like ATC kept you low until passing KSJC. Class Bravo must have been really busy.
Airbus launch control...nice!
That baby in the back round haha😂
This just made me excited to be going back to SFO in 10 days
that spool up was pretty interesting
Noticed that, too. Almost sounded like they were going to abort the takeoff.
@@zachmatt3 I noticed that, too.
that takeoff be me when i spawn in in msfs on the runway and the breaks are on
😂
Nice flight SP good job as always 👍
Glad you enjoyed it my friend!
Great video as always!❤🎉

Nice Vid!👍👍

That was a strange sound from the engines on takeoff.

Yes, Honolulu 😁.
@sla31 will be taking that flight hopefully Memorial Day weekend.
@@LeeDfined I hope you have a great trip my friend!
Good people are very much for
13:57 very odd but nice sounding spool up
The Pilot forgot to remove the brakes which resulted an aborted spooled up.
Definitely made for an interesting departure. Thanks of watching my friend!
What happened on that spool up during takeoff??
Wondering the same thing!

Did you notice that your comment got a "Translate to English" note? Nothing personal, of course.
do you some times lose money when you make these videos?
Yes, all the time 😂
Could you please verify the landing times? I may be missing something, but I know this is one flight. Fantastic video!
Should be fixed my friend. I forgot to put the 2 in front of the 48:31. It was supposed to be 2:48:31.
no IFE on the 321 Neo??
No, the A321neo's are powered by either CFM International's LEAP-1A engine or Pratt & Whitney's PurePower PW1100G-JM geared turbofan engine.
I think he meant IFE (In Flight Entertainment). Not IAE lol.

So, a320/321 or 737?
I mean, it say Airbus A321-253NX in the title and description does it not? Is it showing something other than that for you? 😂
