no hate but tbf tallking about 100 logs when theres 300 recorded parses for enh compared to specs like survival with 11k is a bit weird of a "comparison" to make. For example, your chiameron kill has a total of 2! parses. You had 20.9k dps which doesn't even fit within the first 40 pages of Warcraftlogs, and isn't "rank 1" but more like rank 4k. As I said, no hate, but just want to make a fair comparison when you're talking about the specs performance and comparing them to others.
Of course. But it also shows its doable - I was also covering fued and doing all of this whilst RL. I think Enha is a lot closer to being decent that people think. I also said it'd be middle of the pack and i think thats accurate
@@mijae1146 it is very decent, hence why if you look at statistics enha is holding its own well across the raid. It just doesnt seem to have as high highs as some other classes currently
@@mijae1146 Enhance is great. People think more parses = harder. The only people playing enhance now are the ones who have been playing it in every expansion thus far and are great at it. I also have 3 100 parses. My enhance shamans name is Nightstorm on Mankrik. I have mained Enhance since TBC pre-patch and been realm top 5 enhance every phase to date. Enhance is awesome. It is very tanky, has a ton of utility, buffs, and does descent single target dps while having great burst, and huge ondemand cleave/aoe. The dude above thinks having 3k people to parse against is harder than 11k but how so? 11k doesn't mean 11k good players its just more garbage because all the scrubs are playing the FOTM class. It's just like Sub rogue. Ignore the hate. Enhance can fucking pump if you know what you're doing and is great currently. I don't even have 372 weapons yet or hell hardly any 372 gear at all just due to rng. Got 372 tier but that's about it. I will take my enhance shaman and compete vs those 11k survival hunters any day of the fucking week. I would love to see them make it so Fire Elemental applies the same debuff as searing totem. That would allow us to use our big 10m CD and also be a nice dps increase at the same time. Will it happen? Prob not.

@@ace052330 the less players the harder it is to parse imo like if your parsing vs 10k ppl 1k dps diff is still like the same parse you can do 20k dps as a 90 and someone else does 21k its still a 90 but if there is like 50 ppl 1k dps is like the diff between a 30 and 100 parse kinda nuts let ppl hate there stuck in meta only classes and will be nothing but average because they band wagon swap classes as a new one gets better!

I also played Enhance and also raid lead on my guild's 25m run and was honestly baffled by the fact that I was top 3 in every skngle fight. I was expecting to be fighting to make it onto my Details top 8 list, but I was blasting and was nr. 1 in a couple fights even. Can't wait to play more.

Hell ya man I have always mained a prot warrior we got world 1st heroic LK 25 as double prot warrior ive been playing it through cata killing everything on heroic (can check my page for tons of cata tank pov's) im rank 1 prot pal on my server and latley my alt raids I was dying to make a dps class because im our RL and I wanted to have some fun ive been playing Single minded Fury and im not saying its amazing but I can deff put up numbers and alot of times im in top 2 or 3 in a 10m I really wanted to go into cata with a Enh as my main 2s charecter and I just started leveling it from 80 and its pretty fucking op the burst is nuts ive never killed mobs so ez 1 SS and the mob is dead maelstrom is so OP ur always at 5stacks the off heals is amazing for raids its funny ppl only care about top rank meta classes but when you compare like *the bottom to the top* its not that far off if your not pushing like world 1st anything besides frost mage in pve is playable and can do just fine im working on getting a 2nd 2hander to try out titans grip but ill deff be playing ALOT OF ENH From here on out and im looking forward to it!
What my impression until now is, that the differences between classes in general, performance/dps wise, is quite minor. Sure, between competitive players some classes do better, but even then and definitely in more casual guilds all classes and specs do more than fine.
I'm an unholy main atm, but want to get my enha shaman back up and blast with it in gdkp's tbh

I told you all of this is your original enhance and shaman videos lol…I told you people say this about enhance every single expansion. Every single expansion they are wrong. Enhance is one of if not the most fun dps specs in the game and if you play it well you’ve nothing to worry about. You’ll find groups no issues, you’ll pump no problem. I remain top 10 enhance on server since I begin in TBC Classic pre-patch. I’ve been in several top 10 guilds, currently in rank 15, and my alt rogue was just invited to join server rank 4 even tho it has literally zero logs. They are just going off my shamans logs. Enhance is great and has been great. Yet I guarantee, I’d actually bet money that once MOP rolls around I’ll find someone else saying the same shit yet again for the 4th time. Anyways, glad you are enjoying it. I’m rank 1 enhance on Mankrik. Isn’t that the server you’re on? Nvm your rank 2 I see it.
I've been enhancement since day 1 TBC. I love enhancement. WOTLK killed me, completely changed gearing/etc and blizz still didn't understand the spec or give the right gear. I switched to ele for cata hoping to have a better experience with real gear choices - nope. all the mail is for hunters. I remember enh was ok at the start of cata back in original cata, but again, lack of proper gear is so frustrating. everyone else has multiple choices, shaman's just get forgotten about. I might give it a shot, but I've just lost a lot of interest in the game. I miss TBC
Enha has some issues in cata, its frustrating we have only 1 weapon option on heroic from raid. Its frustrating theres bugs. But its amazing!
What you changed to ELE for cata and you losing gear to hunters? WTF you on about. and how exactly "Everyone else" has so many options?
@@decai6899 offpiece mail is made for hunters. blizz either doesn't care or doesn't know how to gear shamans. I thought they would have done better by cata but they didn't

and i woudnt really say they are made for hunters tbh. PS warlocks, mages for example all have 1 piece they are going for with literally no other options either. there are options of offpieces for other specs.
And honestly it doesnt seem like a big problem when you got so many items dropping from bosses currently.
@@decai6899 yes, after TBC which didn't have great gear but the class worked, then wotlk which had horrible gear and didn't work, I figured, 'they say ele is better so I'll try that' - but it's not
Hey man! What is your opinion on enha shammys in firelands? If you have played it ofc. I am lvling an enha shammy rn and it looks pretty fun to me, but my guild needs big pumpers and the enha shammy is not one of them rn :D
would be nice if they made fire ele give us searing flame stacks so we have a big cd to press. dont think that would to too crazy of a buff

I have 3 100 parses currently as enhance with the rest 99s or high orange. Outside a few stupid ass fights where our prog strats don’t allow good numbers like Maloriak. I also play with other players whom parse equally to me and I’m consistent top 3 dps and top on several. It does just fine if you play it well as does any dps outside things like pure pvp specs aka frost mage. Weaving is a thing yes because you no longer use fire nova on CD or at all during single target. So you actually weave even more now and it’s easier to do so as well. Very fun in Cata. I have a gameplay video up just showing how it looks to play on a target dummy rotation wise if interested.
@@ace052330 i am very much interested! i havent started playing again due to work, but currently doing y research on enhance shaman in cata. would love a breakdown in rotation and stuff especially from top enhance shaman.

Any spec is fine the only time the whole matter of not being invited is if you're trying to high parse with a serious group. You can do any group and still provide some benefit with specs, Ya sure theres buffs/changes that some specs need but its not like Classic Era or before expansions
I'm having a blast with enh shammy and yes you lose in dps to some 3 button specs , but where is the fun in that. Love me a challenge and to actually use my brain when playing. I m not changing to ele , no way.

Been playing enha since legion and played in wotlk classic. The flame shock not resetting and the 'need' to sync the attack made me go ele in cata, it's all just so clunky
