It's like my dream army! And personally the Geonosians made me think of termite mounds.
Bought into legion for my Christmas to myself, excited to get my droids on the table!!

Would also like them to introduce the Geonosian Elite with the Blood beam and maybe their Sonic Cannon Turret.
Today I got Vader down and legion in 2024 as my two recommended videos. I like the geonosians. I may buy into separatists. I play the original trilogy armies but the clone wars calls my name.
A geonosian battle force would be amazing

Cool future ideas to expand this army...
zombie geonosians, sonic turrets+repeater turrets (the rapid fire ones they use on the wall episode in clone wars S2), geonosian monster wranglers/riders, mayyybbeeee their aircraft as well or a card that could have a group perform a strafing run, even the queen would be super cool. Also a royal guard unit of geonosians that are a little more armored and elite would be a great addition

Or maybe have the queen be a terrain pack.
7:12- I 100% agree with that!!! I love the Droidekas!!! I don’t know if I can say they are my favorite unit that is on the Separatist army…… but they are my favorites Droid unit in this army! Even though I feel like they are another one of those units that should be stronger than they are in this game! But that falls into another long comment I left on a different video about “if you make 1 unit stronger than you have to do the same to other units also”!!!
Looking forward to the ‘avoids cover’ mechanism. I imagine they’ll be squishy. Bugs are squishy

I think you can zerg with these guys and there are a lot of options to ignore your opponent's cover so they will be fairly good imo
I built a few genosian lists you can run them droid heavy with just goggle or run them genosian heavy with short ranges characters like previous or Cad Bane. I think they will be fun to run either way
I picked up the clone wars core set this year too. Big fan of armada, but I am excited to paint some clones!

This army needs a nice thematic unit... Jango Fett. How cool would it be to have Dooku, Fett, and some bugs and droids.
My son proxied bugs our last game, and they're pretty good. B2s are mandatory with Poggle, and we think Dooku/Ventriss lists will be much stronger with them.
We were not impressed with the pikes compared to the cannon heavy...
Geonosians with Force-Pykes? That seems overpowered.
I plan on getting genosians for a separatist force, already have an empire and rebels force. Then figuring out what republic force afterwards

Are these out yet? The bug boys?!? I haven’t seen them in a of my LGS yet but that doesn’t really mean much lol But I also don’t remember seeing this channel doing a unboxing for any of them yet!?! Either way, I can’t wait to be able to use them in a game/games! But until then, I don’t have a opinion on them! There are a lot of good things about them and their cards….. but there is some bad as well!?! And I don’t know how it will work out with how I play until I actually get to play with them! But when that time comes, it won’t take me long then 3 games to figure out if they were worth my time and money or not! And at that point I will pass judgement on them!!!

4:47- I just got my Geonosian boxes! And of course 10 minutes after I got home with them I was already gluing them together!!! But I am so confused about this card?!? I know you will probably cover it when you do you unboxing…….. but I don’t really get it….. So one side of the card basically says you are in the sky and you “hate to” go throw the target to use the weapon! And the other side of the card is for melee. So you “can’t” be in the sky (unless the target is also)! So do you need to use a action to say you’re back on the ground and then move into base contact with the target to be considered in melee? I don’t think you can disperse with a trooper unit!?! So I don’t think you can end the fight move in the middle of the target unit and then use the first attack of this card and then automatically be considered in a melee with them, since the first attack is basically saying you passed them in the air!?! Am I not understanding something? Am I at least in the ballpark? Or is there a way better way to use this card where you can also take full advantage of both sides?!? (I don’t remember the name of this type of attack?!? It’s not a ranged attack and it’s not a melee attack either!?!) Either way, the only time I ever used it, was only once, with that horrible Wookiee flyer! And I only got to use it’s weapon once before it was shot down! So in my mind and my opinion it was a lot of wasted points (and money) for something that looks good….. but will never be on any of my lists again!!! Either way, I know it’s almost a whole week away and I have been playing and surprisingly winning with the Republic! Since these guys are FINALLY OUT I want to get back to my Separatist army’s as soon as I can!?! But I need to know what’s what with this card first!?!
7:52- She is that opposite side of that coin of some characters are weaker than they should be! She is way stronger than she should be! That is a lot of black dice for a character that (at least in my opinion) is definitely not stronger than other lightsaber characters that have less dice then that! Yeah, yeah, yeah, she has two lightsabers….. so does Lord Maul but unfortunately he can’t use both at the same time (unless I learned it wrong or something changed)! And Darth Maul has a double blinded Lightsaber, which some would say is better than 2 lightsabers!?! I don’t know if I 100% agree with that but I do believe Maul in either version is way stronger than her!!!
