I'd imagine this made for absolutely awful conditions for POW workers in off-world Geonosian hives during the clone wars since they probably didn't fully grasp that other species weren't like that at all.
I mean, that canot be entirely the case since atleast some workers like Poggle were clearly not happy with their social placement and thuss they tried to climb up the ladder. So what would’ve happened to the clones that were captured during the first and second battles of Geonosis? Would they have gotten the same treatment as say Obi Wan, Anikan and Padme when they were caught?
Well padme, anakin and obi wan were notable figures they were likely aware of. The senator from naboo and 2 jedi who were trying commit espionage in their factories. The higher caste like poggle aleady picked sides in the incoming war and displaying those 3 as victims of their favorite blood sport was a convient way to boost hive morale where as individual clones, well. Not necessarily. Because they are bigger than real insects, maybe they developed the internal structure to hold their bigger bodies up. Just an idea. Could go the other way: evolving an exoskeleton to survive radiation even though they already had an inner skeleton.

Dude Poggle is the biggest bad bug there's ever been holy crap. Let's get a video on his life please
I dunno, I sorta have a head-cannon where there is a peaceful Geonosis tribe. (That's where click-clack from rebels came from) Idk, lol
So what would’ve happened to the clones that were captured during the first and second battles of Geonosis? Would they have gotten the same treatment as say Obi Wan, Anikan and Padme when they were caught?
Good question
Well padme, anakin and obi wan were notable figures they were likely aware of. The senator from naboo and 2 jedi who were trying commit espionage in their factories. The higher caste like poggle aleady picked sides in the incoming war and displaying those 3 as victims of their favorite blood sport was a convient way to boost hive morale where as individual clones, well.
Unless the specific clone was of some value to the cis they would probably either be carried high into the air and dropped to their deaths or fed to those large animals they keep penned up.
They were eaten
@@7ElevenTruther or turned into workers, like the civilians of some captured cities were.

Everyone asks what happened to the clones captured by the Geonosians but no one asks what happened to the Geonosianls captured by the Republic, they were literally slaved to build the Death Star, if one side does not give quarter do not expect that the another respect the Yavin Convention!
Poggle literally went from rags to richest by fighting his way to the top. Man i had no idea he was such a badass!
Just for the record you pronounce chitin like “ki-ten”. I only know this because of nature documentaries, otherwise I’d probably not pronounce it right either.
😅👍🏼
Kind of makes you wonder, was it worth Ezra and the rebels saving the last queen’s egg if their species was so violent and distrustful of others.
No. No it wasn’t.
I don't know, one egg probably won't do anything.
"A bug that thinks?! Frankly I find the idea offensive!"
A quote by random dude from Starship Troopers.
Oh so that where my boi poggle got his walking stick nodding my head in agreement nice
We had a greate leader bur Anakin toifh he was a youngling
Republic Commando 2 could've done a mission where you clear the Geonosians out from under Utapau while order 66 kicks in. Forcing you to either give in and kill a Jedi who is with your squad, or fight it off and warn them of the new threat. That would've made a solid intro mission
"He kept one of his leg bones and turned it into a cane"
😶 so they have exoskeletons AND bones?? That makes no sense...
Not necessarily. Because they are bigger than real insects, maybe they developed the internal structure to hold their bigger bodies up. Just an idea. Could go the other way: evolving an exoskeleton to survive radiation even though they already had an inner skeleton.
When you’re sent into a Geonosian arena to fight an acklay and you ain’t a Jedi: Guess I’ll die! 🤷♂️
When it come to the Geonosions nothing a can of Raid can’t fix.
I had a nightmare involving the brain worms it was terrifying.
I wanna hear more about other world takeovers and hives that were setup there.
Great video!
What Caste was Poggle the Lesser??? He seems to be a mix of all three but he has that weird beard thing.
Edit: Nevermind it says in the video lol
He was once a low cast but was such a badass that they gave him power
Man that intro takes me back to the good old battlefront days.
Never thought the Geonosians were that scary and intense, definitely got a newfound respect for the next time they pop on screen
Did the Geonosians eat those poor clones? (whole body shudder at the very thought)
Probably
Hopefully
@@xiaoyuzhao1260 I accuse you of treason against the grand army of the Republic
Probably
I wouldn’t be surprised
I love lore that adds to the films. I'll never look at the cane the same way again.
I never would’ve imagined that those wicked bugs were so blood thirsty!!! Please do some more videos going deeper into their culture!!
I was like seven when S2 of The Clone Wars came out and I remember being absolutely terrified of the Geonisians and their mind control. Like, thought about them all the time and definitely a few nightmares.
This vid made me feel justfied.
"It's an ugly Planet, A Bug Planet!"
I watched to the end and was frustrated that u mentioned nothing about how the genosian making battle droids.
Geetsly: Labels Geonosians as 'Barbarians'
Me, a Metatron subscriber: Is he an ancient greece/rome supremacist?
6:08 Archduke Poggle the Lesser lmao
I really love this World and everything about it!
Clones, get ze Flammenwerfers!
How to pronounce “chitinous” (kai-ten-us)
For future reference if you see a C or Ch in a word of Greek origin it probably makes the K sound.
1:46 they look like dried shrooms
Nothing like the simulations
There are so many stories one can make out of the Star Wars universe, without even mentioning Jedis nor Siths, quite perplexing that so few did exactly that.
