As for the wall, I saw someone else suggest floating shelves for your sculptures, as a kind of "time tracker" or something, I think that'd be cool. But I also saw someone suggest painting a mural and I think that also sounds cool, if a bit time consuming.
Wall suggestion...I did it the my wall in front of my desk...a photo collage (taken photos, printed pictures, magazine pictures) of things you find inspirational art wise or just pretty. Photos that make you say..."That's cool, how did they do that? Can I do that? Let's try." It help gets me inspired everytime I sit down at my table and stare at the wall unsure of what to do next.
To get rid of the bubbles in your wash you can spritz it with rubbing alcohol/isopropyl alcohol. It breaks the surface tension and makes the bubbles pop!
You can use a small scissor (nagelsax) to cut smalls "V"s and lay those cross to mimic fur tufts, without adding more clay. For the wash, you can add a small dash of thickener, maybe potato starch? to get rid of bubbles. Dont use too much, it can leave a milky residue. More ideas,... use a garlic press for some hair, or if you have a potato press for longer pieces? Or you can invest in a ciseler (ciseleringsjärn) its also good for making hair pieces or texturing!

You can put a screen with a fake window on top to look like a real window and you can put any nature spaces that you want that fits the theme of the sculpt clay
