I was here 8 years ago and now Lucius came back to KEXP! My 3 favorites Live on KEXP: Lucius, Haelos and Yann Tiersen! Neither pandemic or apocalypsis will stop this team!
I’m so glad Cheryl Waters hosted again. It’s so nice to have a host who appreciates Lucius as much (if not more) than I do! I’m living vicariously through her for the whole video

Without a doubt my favorite band to see live. I've seen them 18 times. They are brilliant musicians. And seemingly really sweet people.
These are the best versions of 24 and The Man I Will Never find. Right now, 24 is my fave of all of Lucius's releases.

Everything here sums up a KEXP performance, raw talent, fresh music, full of emotion, great sound and the wonderful Cheryl. This performance is just perfect, captured such a vibe! Lucius and KEXP - Amazing!
I saw these ladies perform along with Courtney Barnett back in 2020 right before the rona closed down all the concert halls. Cheryl's reaction at 8:50 was the exact reaction I had- their voices cut deep live.

We saw them live for the first time at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville and it was a balm for the soul. Celisse opened (and blew the roof off) and the whole show was just a celebration of joy and gratitude... and lots of dancing. Can't wait to do it again.
Always amazing vocals, and I also want to point out how the good the whole band is.
Well before the passing of Christine McVie, I’d started noticing 70s-infused albums that include songs that sound to me like homages to her work. Promises is one of those.
