Good movie, I liked the twist with the sniper and other soldier towards the end, you totally got me with that.
12 minutes in and I'm asking myself, "Why didn't these kids dress for the occasion? They all knew they were going to be hiking but no one thought to dress appropriately. Just an observation that jumped out at me in glaring detail.
And what appropriate dress would be required to hike in grassland? My interest was piqued when the dude lifted that giant ass cooler out of the back of the truck all by himself. So my question is, why are they taking an obviously empty cooler on their hike?
Does anyone ever dress properly in these types of movies.🤣
I had the opposite impression. They were told they might be hiking a couple miles and they packed their houses.

this was an alright movie. I was interested in the ending. More real then other films where everyone is happy and saved at the end.

Great little film, I'd recommend it, it has a real "Andromeda Strain" feel!
Good premise. Decent movie, and yes the lone survivor is the best actor in the bunch and a really good actor overall.

Decent flick... watchable. Why were guards at last escape route dead? 🤔Did they kill each other, or were they contaminated?😮 If the final premise was that the lone survivor was not infected because the virus could detect truthful people versus liars... that's a virus worth replicating.
This movie is for me at least needs a sequel. This movie is telling the past and beginning of what could be a world disaster. Since no sequel was ever made I feel like the first one ends with so many possibilities.

Exactly. First off, the professor needs to be smoking hot and his student team should have been made up of buxom beauties. He could have infected them one by one, or maybe two at a time.
Guess they shouldve known not go into a building where it was padlocked, especially the teacher.
The trip should not have happened in the first place. If you are responsible for students then you are also tied up with armfuls of insurance regulations.

From "The Chernobyl Diaries" playbook. Started out with promise but descended quickly after the professor was shot. This film is proof "Youth is wasted on the young!" How you gonna be bored in a Death/Death situation? William McNamara is the only real actor and he hadn't been seen in eons.

You can tell that cooler is empty. If it was full, they'd barely be able to lift it. A cooler that size is super heavy when it's full. For a whole weekend that thing would be loaded.

The acting may not be good, but the story itself is very good.
The idea that something like this can happen is scary. That our government could and has conducted experiments like this is even scarier.

With a little bit of everything this was a Great Movie
The movie was actually pretty good. Some of the acting was a little " flat " is the only way I know to describe it, but the plot was good, the pace kept it lively ( no pun intended lol ). This particular movie begs for a remake using more experienced actors @ after that a sequel.

I would not say this was a top tier movie, but it is a good decent one for watching. Some of the acting was rather low grade, but much of the main characters were a lot better.
This movie is OUTSTANDING, and the actors and actresses perform excellently. However, the background music is TERRIBLE and GIVES ME AN AGONIZING HEADACHE.

Covid 19, anyone? Yep, this movie was released in 2014. SIX YEARS BEFORE COVID 19 STRUCK.
Contagion was a movie before covid and much more in line with the narrative and how governments reacted.
The building that's been abandoned for years light on in the hallways and the cleanest roof I've ever seen. But all in all not the worst movie I've seen

Someone help me out please. Maybe I missed something. Just a second ago they were frantically saying to open the door because they saw 3 soldiers coming their way but then all the friends start showing up and the urgency to get through the door magically becomes a non issue and the soldiers disappear.
It wasn't soldiers they seen coming toward them, the 3 were their friends, they mistook their silhouettes for soldiers, it wasn't 3 soldiers in the corridor coming toward them..... remember the soldiers surrounded the building, they didn't want to enter it. Hope that helps. Good movie, on a tiny budget, and frightening to think but, actually quite realistic as to what could happen, or is. Only doubt is would the military etc actually overlook the underground service tunnel the guy who got away escaped from.... even with the complex not being originally designed for full on quarantine and escape proof, you'd think they would be more thorough regarding said service tunnels etc, that's why these things are so chilling, the fact that little things do get overlooked/missed and these viruses end up getting out. Enjoy n hope our species learns to not play with nature eh👍
