When I saw the daily rations of packaged food, my first thought was, 'I hope there's an audit of all the packaging at the end of the race. We don't want to see that tossed over the side.'
I wondered what the "2-star cooker" was which Seb mentioned in connection with his freeze dried meals. Turns out he was referring to Julien Gatillon, 2-star (Michelin ranking) chef of Le 1920, the restaurant of the prestigious Four Seasons Hotel in the ski resort of Megève. What sucks about this is when they hit something, it could be giant wildlife and your boat is finished in the sea and it appears they go out without carrying a giant squid dispatch mechanism
