I'm trying to log into my workday account and it says I have to accept a 2 digit code in authinticator..there's nothing I can accept...I really hate that my company makes us use that crap
Hi. I have added Microsoft Authenticator on my android phone. When I try to sign oin on my phone I get error message "That Microsoft account doesn;t exist" even though I can sign into the account on my browser. Any ideas what the issue is? Thanks!
You can add the password instead of scanning ... when you go to the manage account-security- set up two steps verification - you press then I can't scan the code -then you see other window with big word as password - then you copy it and add it to your authentication app instead of the picture to scan- then you also need finally to add the number you see on the app to the two step verification in the last window when you press next next
my company is making me install this app. However they aren't providing us with phones. I don't want to download this on my personal phone. If I get a separate phone just to install this app, do I need a sim card or phone number with the new phone to make this app useful?

Authenticator 2f whatever is complex even to set up.. eg most people use the app on 1 device but to use on other must go thru certain troublesome process for those not that ITfriendly yet some find it just part of regular life
You skip all the part of configuring the Authenticator in the Mobile Device App... Which is exactly where I am having problems... The problem I have is that after giving the Enterprise Account and Password, Authenticator is asking me to "go to authenticator and give a number" which for sure is imposible since I am configuring it!!! how can I go to authenticator if I am configuring it?
All the steps are different. The Microsoft account steps and webpage layout is also different when we log in. Different sources will give different steps. It's so confusing and frustrating.

Typical microsoft, have to do everything in 20 steps and it still doesn't work. Apple does it in one step. My Outlook doesn't have any of those pages you're showing to set up this authenticator on my iphone. And why can't I use Outlook on my tablet, why am I forced to use my tiny phone to look at my emails. Max frustration.

Not really clear at all. What was your original intent? looks like you linked it to MS & Google? You could have planned & practiced this a little more before making it, also maybe a simple text list of what you are doing

How can you take a picture of the QR code when the code is your phone?

what i dont understand is when migrating phone over how do you transfer the account without being backup to the cloud? surely there is a way?

Mine keeps using a screen lock but never asked me to set up a pin to open it , so have to delete app.
I don't t see the codes how can i fix it?

You're using a laptop and android phone. Some of us only have an android phone. The screens are not the same
