Imagine a half life 2 where the suppression field was removed. More opportunities to live a better life among the combine, and much more. The resistance would be hated. The Universal Union would be heroes for a golden future.
at least according to breen the combine will remove the suppression field once they know for sure humanity is an asset that won't bite them. so probably once the resistance (the only anti-combine organization as far as i know) is destroyed.
@@kobold7466 Honestly, I think the Resistance are fools. The Earth is reliant on The Combine. So many resources have been stripped, crops destroyed, species brought to extinction.... They can't salvage any of it effectively in time. The Combine are not evil. Alien, yes. But not evil with intentional malicious ideals for humanity.
