That's exactly the point. They don't want you to buy pallets and stick with your frame. Rather, they want you to go out and buy new rackets for that grip size you want. Not all the head rackets have them. Only the prestige series and the radicals and other older classic frames.
thanks for posting this video, I found it to be pretty good basic info. maybe you could follow up with other racquets. for example, can you put a dunlop handle onto a wilson?
When you remove the replacement grips, the tape is suppose to come off with it as well. So peel the tape along with the grip when you remove it. When you reapply the grip(if you do), then there is tape to hold the grip back in place. But IMO, the tape is not that important, just remove it and discard it.
hi, how many staples were in the buttcap, just bought a very good classic mid example and it has 5 staples, the problem is that one of them, you can see it coming out on the end of the buttcap, thanks by the way where did you get the pellets? which ones will work also on this racket? thanks again
Lol. you just gotta have good control with the Knife. I've done around 30 pallets so far and none sustained injuries. Just be a bit careful. Trust me, if i swear it's going to be all "Du Ma". Lol You can try calling this place that sold used pallets before. Just ask for your gripsize. courtsidesports(google it) Good luck~
Unfortunately Head doesn't make pallets for distribution anymore. You will have to post a wanted Ad on tenniswarehouse or other tennis sites for used ones.
ughhhhhh. I want to change my grip size to one lower. Each time I hit my two-handed backhand, that head oval grip makes my wrist hurt like hell. But I really don't want to go through all this procedure. Know if random tennis shops do this?
@lmonto Lol.. It took me 10 mins to get exactly what i wanted in a grip change. It'll probably take you at least haft hour to do it your way. Even so, with your newb comment, i am assured that you will get uneven bevels along with cracked pallets as they are made of tender materials. Post some comments when educated about pallets, otherwise don't post at all..
I was going to change my pallets to 28 inches. But, this process is disturbing to me. It violates the sanctity of the bond between a tennis racquet and the pallet.
Man, be carefull with that knife. I thought for sure you were going to loose a finger in that video :)

you can just put the pallets in to the hot water and after few minutes the get separates

Prestige classic 600. I love it.
Good vid. Which Head pallets are the more rounder ones to replace the rectangular ones on the old made in Austria Head racquets?
TK82S
No, you can't do them with dunlops as they don't have the pallet system- rather they have a molded handled.

what kind of staple do you use to put the butt cap back on?
can you do this with dunlop aerogel 200's? I have two, one is 4 3/8 (18x20 string)and one is 4 1/2 (16x19); I want to switch them.
can we put a head pallet on a wilson?
nice vid
Can you do this to a Babolat?
where from can we buy pallets for head?
then what is the point of having rackets with removable pallets if you dont provide replacements?
All models of head rackets have removable pallets?
Where can I buy a pallet?
Sorry. Wilson rackets are permanent and non-removable. They are molded on and doesn't consist of a pallet system like that of Head and Volkl Rackets.

lol
thx for tip

why don't you just buy a new racquet with the "RIGHT PALLET" 4 YOU
