    I really appreciate the video. I was able to change my Head pallets without a problem. I think it is important to have a 1/4 inch wide staple in order to get at least a couple of staples on the smaller bevels. Thanks again!

    So the video starts with some household tools, which most of us will probably have, and then it ends with you needing an air pressured nailgun.
    Because of course most tennis players have one of those in their garages... 🤔

    Great job with the pallets.
    I would say that you need only one nail in the butt cap to secure that it doesnt move. thats why it shattertered bc you put in to many and to big ones. also heat up the butt cap a bit before. Also you need to learn how to put on a base/replacement grip as that wasnt pretty.

    Hi, I just had two questions. First what PSI do you use for the staple gun? Secondly, when you heat up the pin to get the existing pallets out, how do you protect the frame from melting from the heat that goes through the pin and into the frame?

    • @teekaywhy
      @teekaywhy  10 месяцев назад +1

      Hi!
      I think it's at 120 PSI for the air compressor. I just used the heat gun and kept it moving. No real protection necesary, just don't focus on any one spot too much. Once you start to smell hot plastic, keep moving.

    Imo I wouldn't like to put staples in. It could do damage to the shaft and makes it harder to change pallet again with all those holes. Glue or tape or something would make more sense to me. You're not holding the racket that far down so honestly tape wouldn't be an issue for me

    • @teekaywhy
      @teekaywhy  Год назад +1

      That's a way. But the one part of the handle you want to be 100% sure is secure is the butt cap. Don't have to use staples but I don't recommend just tape.

    • @teekaywhy

      Hi Gavin. Yonex has molded handles unlike Head which uses pallets. I'm afraid you won't be able to change the handle shape without some major work which involves scraping and polyurethane. It's TK82S. I recently bought that racquet (Head Graphene 360+ Prestige Mid, in short: Prestige 93) and took off the base grip.
      It says on the pallets "TK82S" , so that's the square ones.
