- Certainly! Here are some important safety instructions for driving:
1. Buckle Up: Always wear your seatbelt and ensure that all passengers do the same.
2. Stay Alert: Avoid distractions like texting, and stay focused on the road.
3. Obey Speed Limits: Adhere to posted speed limits and adjust your speed for road conditions.
4. Maintain a Safe Following Distance: Keep a safe distance behind the vehicle in front of you to allow for sudden stops.
5. Use Turn Signals: Signal your intentions when changing lanes or making turns.
6. Observe Traffic Signs and Signals: Follow traffic signals and obey road signs.
7. Don't Drink and Drive: Never drive under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
8. Check Your Blind Spots: Use your mirrors and turn your head to check blind spots when changing lanes.
9. Stay within Your Lane: Maintain your lane discipline and avoid weaving in and out of traffic.
10. Be Mindful of Weather Conditions: Adjust your driving to suit the weather, whether it's rain, snow, or fog.
11. Give Way to Pedestrians: Yield the right of way to pedestrians at crosswalks and intersections.
12. Use Your Horn Sparingly: Honk your horn only to alert other drivers of your presence, not as a form of frustration.
13. Avoid Aggressive Driving: Stay calm and patient, and avoid road rage.
14. Regular Vehicle Maintenance: Ensure your vehicle is well-maintained with working brakes, lights, and tires.
15. Stay Informed About Road Conditions: Be aware of road closures, accidents, or construction on your route.
16. Use Hands-Free Devices: If you need to use your phone, use a hands-free device to minimize distractions.
17. Be Courteous: Show respect and courtesy to other drivers on the road.
18. Plan Your Route: Know your route in advance and have a backup plan in case of unexpected detours.
Remember, safe driving not only protects you but also the people around you. Always prioritize safety on the road. - Наука
truck drivers are NOT the same as 30 years ago they drive those things like they are in a subcompact car with blinders and dark glasses on . i was taught to look a mile ahead these drivers must be playing video games or watching videos absolutely not watching the road
I am tired of these videos w/o any sound. This is 2024, not 1924 when they had speakeasies🤬🤬🤬
No wonder truck insurance is so expensive.
Going through red lights, going too fast, not paying attention! These truck drivers are dangerous on the road!
I was gona avoid all them vehicles but then i got high, i was gona stop when i see brake lights but then i got high
Our country is becoming saturated with people with this “way of life”! They are NEVER, NOT HIGH! 🤬
I was gonna like this comment but then i got high…
Yeah... heah....
@@alexmartin3143 💀💀💀
Oooh ooh oooh da da da dada da dah because I got high because I got highyi
So many drivers Not. Paying. Attention!! Especially big rig drivers. You're operating a 40 ton vehicle, YOU have an extra responsibility to PAY A-FRIGGIN-TENTION!!!
What the hell are these professional driver looking at. Wake up
1:12 - this is why they say to maintain adequate distance
i stay as far away as i possibly can. i've seen what can happen and it's very sad.
@@patriciamcdermott9589 Yeah... They say leave like a 2 second follow distance. I leave like 3x that. Has saved me a couple of times.
OMG so many bad semi truck drivers on the road 😬
It's real BS AF that there is no audio through most of the video. I ❤❤❤ love the sound of twisted metal.
Gesh it's strange how some of these dummies got cdl's and I'm a trucker.
well it's obvious now that the round reflecty thing mounted to the front of the truck do absolutely NOTHING! They cannot or will not be looked at by the driver under any circumstances .
4:37 poor dog got rekt
came to see if anyone else saw it :(
Are we sure that’s a dog. Kind of looked like a deer.
@@pauldavis9387 if you pause it and go frame by frame, yeah very clearly a dog
@@RodzChris I’m not that patient so I will just take your word for it.
@@pauldavis9387yeah you're dead right...they had a deer inside their car...that makes sense.
1:05 Stupid car. Oh no there's a cop I better stop here now... crash. 4:12 Poor critter but was it really worth all that, destroying your rig? 7:06 I guess they were just plain bushed.
Wasn’t the cop signaling first guy in your list to stop? It’s hard to see for sure…
safe distance = 0
high speed = 10
Love the video! ❤
What measures can drivers take to prevent accidents like those in Series 24?
I'm just putting this out there, but what if they just looked at the road ahead?
I can see that truckers are the same than in my country, no pay attention and dangerous driving.
Watching these videos ,I can understand why so many people choose to fly rather than drive, there's no Red light runners, car jackers, drunk drivers or piss poor drivers 😱
No perception...
Truckers and drivers alike
Its insane , some of these thing you can see its gonna happen
Just back off
Its only a few second
Geez
So like, do they train semi drivers to drive looking down at their feet, or....?
Truck drivers get treated like shi. They don't get the room they need an every body thinks they are supposed to yield to them.. wrong
Half of these truckers merging into other cars, especially merging back into lane 2, can be fixed by not “low riding” in their seat.
WHERE IS THE SOUND
Thank you! I thought I was going deaf.
The dash cams probably didn't have the mic on. I usually leave microphone off on mine too.
Removing the audio prevents RUclips's Content ID from blocking your video in certain regions - or worldwide - if copyrighted music is present. It's one of the most annoying hurdles a Creator has to deal with on this platform.
Just make your own sound effects for the crashes. "HOOOOOONK!!! SCREEEEEECH!! CHUNK! KER-POW!!! WOOF!"
@@GruntsworthNo i fucking hate cringe sound effects
Heart-wrenching accidents stress the importance of road safety measures.
4:15 this is why you don't swerve to avoid an animal.
I knew a kid in high school that swerved for rabbit, and went off the road, plowed through a fence and hit a cow! Never swerved just hit it!
It appears most of these truck drivers were riding donkeys and camels a few short months ago.
These truckers are horrible drivers and they do it for a living. They need higher fines and jail time!
What kind of dashcam is used? Many of these clips are in amazing quality. Looks like Garmin but I can’t tell without a timestamp
Most companies are using a special system that reports the clip to the safety department. The camera faces out and at the driver. It's for liability and to "protect the driver".
There is a safety rating score for truck companies. It's called CSA. The driver and the carrier can get both. Even if the truck is not at fault, the carrier will get CSA points for 2 years. Similar to points on your license.
I was pulled over by DOT at my last company because too many drivers were speeding. The inspecting officer disclosed that to me and did a level 2 inspection.i asked him if I was doing something wrong and he said no, but that the law dictates that he inspect me because our safety rating was getting too high.
The higher your CSA rating, the more encounters you will have with DOT. Now, to answer the question of why these carriers can fuck up so bad and continue to operate is, if the crash rating is low enough, the carrier won't get shut down. How does this happen? Let's take SWIFT for example, they are so poorly trained they are guaranteed to wreck something. However, because they are one of, if not the largest carrier in America, the ratio of drivers to crashes is under a certain percent.
Most of these accidents could've been avoided by slowing down. They're traveling way to damn fast for conditions. I'm sitting here yelling at my phone, SLOW TF DOWN! I have enough experience that I can tell just a couple of seconds into the clip they're gonna wreck.
Sorry for the wall of text.
@jareddrogose1470 not the question I asked, but insightful information, thanks!
Some really stupid people want get out of the way of a truck drive an a lot of them caused the truck driver to hit them so why slow down....
person was ejected.
1:12, why is the cop there directing traffic, and thinking he can control the other lanes when there’s a median? The cop was waving the car to go, and it stopped. Not the truck drivers fault…if the car attempting a left turn can’t cross the intersection, then make a right turn, get into the left lane, and make a u-turn when able…or get two cops to safely direct traffic, otherwise he’s just creating confusion.
Which one is safer AI or stupid humans 🤔
At the moment, stupid humans are doing better. I suspect one day AI will exceed human abilities though it just won't be tomorrow
Best would be to combine them, actually. AI isn't safer than humans, but AI+Humans are safer than humans alone.
@@darrennew8211 I want to agree but my tractor trailer has adaptive cruise control and will occasionally think that a road sign is a vehicle at a standstill and will lock my brakes up and scare the shh outta me and anyone around me. It still needs alot of work
@@jjtrades7186 Oh, I'm not saying it's good to go today. Just that there's no theoretical reason why it couldn't eventually get there.
And I suspect my wife screams at nothing about as often as your tractor thinks a road sign is a parked car. ;-)

Hammerheads
I'm a truck driver and watching this is hurting me. So many are just top of the line most horrible drivers. I'm willing to bet that the majority of these drivers are from another country
4:47 Dear Lord that is like the biggest bird dump in human history on that windshield.
Wow this is the first time I’ve ever seen a driver with a dash cam do a hit and run @ 3:26
3:10 nothing scarier than trying to shake off a wreck you just got in then staring down an 18 wheeler that is about to broad side you on the driver side.
some really bad truck drivers there. never slowing down even when they hit something...
Have you ever driven a tractor with a load before???? There have always been bad truck drivers, but now that seems to be the majority .
Twat. Trucks don’t stop like cars because they are heavy. Are you a retard?
If you can translate this
Imagina que tengan un tronco muy largo, ellos frenan y el tronco entra en la cabina. Así que frenan despacio... no es por ser malos conductores
One minute you're eating roadkill next minute you are roadkill
Imagine being so self-centered you would be willing to put other people at risk by driving a car so fast it is virtually uncontrollable, as demonstrated in that crash.
