Students charged for pushing wheelchair down stairs

Mercyhurst University students Patrick Carrozzi and Carson Briere are facing charges of criminal mischief and disorderly conduct after they were recorded pushing a wheelchair down a flight of stairs at a bar in Erie, Pennsylvania.
Sydney Benes, a double amputee who lost both her legs in an August 2021 car accident, says she's speaking out about having her wheelchair damaged in hopes that her experience can be a catalyst for change.
