I'm Team OnePlus all the way. I love their pictures and the software. Plus, you can't beat their fast charging in North America. Their battery longevity never gets mentioned in reviews. Their batteries stand the test of time far better than most.
Cameras in high end phones have reached a pinnacle right now. If you didn't see them you side by side you would think they're all amazing. And then it's just personal preference. Great video as always!
Your camera comparisons have always been amazing. But, the main highlight for me is how you make the most out of every situations, bringing out the artistic representation. I really loved how you took these photos and videos and timed them so neatly and brilliantly. It's always so great to see these comparisons from the perspective of someone like yours. Kudos. Both phones did well. But, Pixel 6 Pro is still imo the better camera smartphone. I kinda feel that OnePlus would have been better under Vivo's wing rather than Oppo's.
i have the oneplus 10 pro, took some pictures with it yesterday and obviously didn't expect much so i didn't check them until several hours later. when i did i was SHOCKED at the impressive picture quality!!
OnePlus has better cams in my opinion, but suffers greatly due to less attention upgrading and fine tuning its processing ability. Google shines at processing and therefore becomes a truly strong contender through such. Great video, and keep up the good job bro 👍🏾👍🏾💯
Great comparison.. Though oneplus has come a long way and was closer than expected, I still think pixel is a bit more consistent...so, I would go with the pixel
Google must add stronger blacks, especially to the main and zoom cam output. I've been using the Pixel 6 Pro since it came out, and the two most annoying things about the camera are the noise in the corner of the picture in low-light for the main and ultra wide, as well as the sheer lack of blacks which look like greys or even blues sometimes. I strongly believe this phone has the SINGLE best camera on any phone in the face of the 4x zoom camera which gets incredible bokeh due to the big sensor and low focusing distance. I've taken portraits with the 4x camera that have absolutely no business coming from a phone. I advise anyone to fortget about the fake portrait mode and just use the 4x camera. Pro tip: you can always add even more blur in post by going into Edit. It's seriously the best portrait camera on any phone ever. Also, video is hands down the best on any Android phone ever and possibly better than the iPhone in low-light. Apple still comes on top overall, but the 12MP iPhone sensors start to show their age with incredibly soft details in low light.
Great video comparison as always ✨👍🏻 I'm using Pixel 6 Pro right now and the cameras are so great. Plus it's getting better and better after monthly software update
What about pixel's battery? I think that I lean to OnePlus because of the battery and camera is still good but not comparable to iphone 13 pro max and s22 ultra
Great comparison, but I don't understand why you value that overprocessed sharpness of the OnePlus 10 PRO so much. Personally I really don't like it and ruins a lot of the clean high res look because of the artificial edges/pixelated look it gets. Pixel easily takes this win in my book. Not to mention the front camera, video quality and shooting modes is also much better.
I don’t value it I just point it out. Especially at night I showed the difference. Personally I don’t favor it but I guarantee you an average consumer would love the extra sharpening.
Both devices are great 👍 I personally prefer the lil warmer look from OnePlus. That's the reason why I love the photos from my OnePlus 9 Pro so much ❤️ but the Pixel is a really really great device and the photos are a blast!
It is safe to say that Pickup any modern day smartphone and you won't be disappointed. As every other brand has caught up with Camera technology. Now what matters the most is whether you have the money to buy flagships and how good you can use those cameras. A basic knowledge and sense of photography also does matter.
OnePlus devices still have the Problem with the Green tint in their pics? I have the OP7T and it has this issue but I overcome it with Gcam. But still the new Flagships with These super big lenses have the Same issue? Whats up with you OnePlus?
I have the Oneplus 9pro and my wife has the Xiaomi 11T pro since november and after hundreds of shots she is amazed of the look and image quality of my Oneplus. Here i prefer the daytime shots with the wide and ultrawide with the extra sharpness and the warm colors of Hasselblad, night shots and looks better on the Pixel, the lower saturation looks more true to life, also the tele looks better on the Pixel
Much closer than I thought but OnePlus has always been overlooked in my opinion anyway. The key thing here is updates and for one I'm a bit surprised at how long it's taken Google to give the camera a real update. The portrait mode depth estimation can be hit and miss and especially the blur can be comically unrealistic a lot of times. It has gotten better and I absolutely love the telephoto lens but I'm looking for some major updates from Google going forward. Better portrait mode blur and cleaner viewfinder previews cause a lot of times the screen is filled with noise galore and then you take the picture and the noise is mostly gone.
Hey Danny can you do an longtime Review with the 6pro as you did with the 1p9p? It would be interesting if there are improvements with the updates. Thanks
Always a fan of pixel's colour science and contrast. Pixels have been the king of cameras in the past but now it's just personal preference when it comes to cameras. You can't just push someone to switch to another brand just because of it's cameras.
If we talk about dynamic range and shadow details etc, then out of the camera results aren't that important , you do post on the raw and make the shot better. If you're comparing off the camera looks then don't talk about these technical things, as processing for each phone can be a hit and miss on the same scene with the same lighting.
Personally I prefer the OnePlus 10 pro, not because the picture quality is better, but because I prefer the software experience on the OnePlus. And the picture quality is close enough that, for me at least, the software experience is the deciding factor.🤷

Better dynamic range in pixel
It's very close but I have to go with the one plus
What’s this obsessions with bright photos ? There’s nothing wrong with shadows, the pixel eliminates all shadows and it looks fake… you can call it shadow detail but it looks unrealistic
idk maybe it has something to do with preference. If your favorite phone creates over exposure it is seen as better and shadows are seen as bad on the other phone.
a/nrSE3Yr add imgur url to front to see OP9Pro shots made in regular mode with automatic exposure. All shots are unedited. Most of the things even he whines in the video are non existent if you use 1sec to adjust the exposure after manually zooming... Always loved OP default camera never really understood why people want GCam. I found it very bad on OP compared to regular camera.
Audio is way better on the OnePlus video!
Take a shot every time he says I don’t blame you 😵💫😂
Hmm a new drinking game huh? I don’t even think I said it that many times…
One plus 10 pro is better and more natural details
xiaomi 12 pro vs oneplus 9 pro camera comparison
My all-time favorite camera is the Pixel
Danny is always the best..
