The J. J. Keller® Encompass® Fleet Management System with optional ELogs gives companies the power to electronically track hours of service, driver vehicle inspection reports (DVIRs), and other performance related information (location, speed, fuel use, etc.) through a proprietary electronic logging device (ELD) and Encompass ELD® app (formally KellerMobile™). Data is managed within Encompass, our cloud-based enterprise solution that allows subscribers to manage drivers and vehicles. The use of Encompass reduces risk, improves efficiency, and provides visibility to operations and compliance, empowering fleet professionals to proactively manage their business. - Наука

Why does it sometimes show more driving time than on duty time? At some point shouldn’t be the same?
If you are referring to the “Hours Available” clocks in KellerMobile, the examples shown are for the 14-hour on-duty limit and the 11-hour driving limit. The first example shows more driving time than on-duty time available because, in the example, the driver used up 13.5 hours of on-duty (not driving) time but only 7.5 hours of driving time, so there was more driving time left (3.5 hours) than on-duty time (0.5 hours). If a driver goes on duty and immediately jumps in the truck and starts driving, the driving and on-duty clocks will closely match. But once the driver stops driving and takes a break or performs other work, the on-duty clock will keep ticking and will no longer match the driving clock. The 14-hour clock includes all consecutive time while the 11-hour clock only includes time driving. The weekly on-duty clock includes all on-duty time, whether driving or not. Thank you.
J. J. Keller & Associates, Inc but if you use 13.5 hrs on duty not driving the other clock should not show 7 hrs driving available. Peoplenet had it right.
