It’s hard to call this game greedy when you hear over 20 million people getting a battle pass and character for free. 20 million may not be its maximum play count during its lifetime but that sure as heck is a lot.
For a free game, with all its content being possible to earn without spending any money, it’s shockingly good, games like this usually have no issue charging around $60 and not even including battle passes

Something I just realized, we have 2 movie serial killers in this game. What I mean is, seeing's how Roger L. Jackson's back to voice Mojo Jojo, and his first ever voice acting role is voicing Ghostface from the Scream movies, he's now in this game with Jason Voorhees.

Playing this game now and imo the threat to killing this game is the grind for characters, since we don’t have gold currency which we earned from winning games and playing games, it’s so hard to get a character, the character currency you don’t even get from playing online and you get 10 from rifts imo it’s worse
Its Kinda Unfair cuz I wanted to play Multiversus but I live in asia and Downloaded it since 2022, but then all players who played Multiversus is getting a FREE battlepas?! Yep this is unfair
I have only ever had 3 disconnects (and I think they were all rage quits) and the net code is actually insane. 99% of the time it feels like you're playing the single player and it feels incredible. This maybe aided by the game being overall slower with more hit lag, more charging, longer start up, etc then Smash or Brawlhalla but that doesn't change the fact that the net code is still better then both of those games
I can’t state how excited I am to see Mojo-Jojo return. I actually think he’s even better as a stage hazard than a playable character. I just wish we could see him better!
The thing that kept me from getting too into the original release was just how damn much I would have had to play to earn anything. As much fun as it was, I was in no mood to play more than I felt like playing, so I think I got an entire *one* character unlocked. Hope it's less grindy on the second try, but I seriously doubt it will be.

Isn't the thing with battle passes that the rewards are supposed to be exclusive though? Aside from the character They could do something like Crash Team Racing, where if you missed the battle pass the rewards would be available in the store rotation after a couple months
I’m both excited and worried for multiversus. It’s been so long since it was shut down and I really want to play it again. But at the same time, it really depends on how much money it makes. If it makes a bunch of money, WB won’t shut it down, but if it doesn’t, it’s bye bye for multiversus. Let’s hope it last longer than the beta did.

tbh, i like the idea of fun and interesting stages. it would be fun to seeing that the game revolves around different stages, and their mechanics. sadly this will not happen, it will just be boring and normal stages in competetive/proplay

I honestly don't at all blame them for not having voice acting in that story mode thing. It lets them still give Batman new dialogue. Not sure what they'll do for his interactions with new characters, but hopefully it's not done by recasting him entirely

locking characters behind pay walls just aint it. OW2 alr did this and received heavy backlash as it should have. Making it so you get the character early is fine but having it Bp exclusive for the whole season is greedy asf.
I understand leaving jason in a paywall because they are giving him away to most people But i really do hope they make him unlockable later with gold or something And i REEEALLLY hope they dont make more characters stuck behind a paywall , characters shouldnt be monitized imo , at least not in games that make them important like overwatch 2 or apex , but in this type of game its not as bad But there needs to be a free way to unlock the characters , if it is grinding in game money or completing challenges, well so be it
What I hope is maybe multiverses later could come to switch or I hope switch 2 has improved graphics some multiverse is can be on it because I want to play the game on the go which I can still play this game on PlayStation but I just want to be on switch because You know you can play it and not waste power on your TV lol
What are you both on about? The game didn't die, he clearly said that it was taken off because it wasn't the full release version it was testing, and the monetisation is the same as every game right now.
