I know that what you are showing us is not always easy and I do see the amount of time, effort and endurance you must put on every footage. Watching your clips is like entering in another reality where oceans and shoreline was full of life with prehistoric sport fish kinds just waiting to be caught with easy. Thank you for sharing, work and time.
G'day mate, beautiful carpet python: Looked like it had a brand new skin. I used to have a pet carpet python once, also had a venomous lowland copperhead. Love snakes, I've got my 3 acre property set up to attract native birds and snakes.
Hi Gideon. I enjoy watching your videos. Even though it’s tough going at times, I find your videos relaxing. Oh! I’m starting to watch them again a second time hehe. Been to Albany twice in my life. First time was two weeks after they stopped spear fishing the whales down there. Cheers mate 👍.
@@NoNORADon911 To folks along the Florida-Gulf-Coast, All Grouper are outstanding to catch, and so delicious to eat!!! Especially in the NW part of Florida, all the way over to Offshore Louisiana!!! Fishing the Offshore Oil&Gas Rigs!!!!
Gido awesome fishing videos!! In the northeast USA we use special shoes with metal spikes/cleats to avoid slipping on the mossy rocks. Have u ever considered using them? For me it’s a must when jetty or fishing off rocks to avoid busting my back. Eeeeeeuuu!
Can I ask you a question I know you guys have a lot of venomous snakes out there what about spiders and other stuff at the coastline you ever come up in the other surprises just curious your a great fisherman brother may God bless you and your family have a good day
I have a gear video i did about 6 months ago. Shows most my fishing and camping gear and briefly my climbing gear, its also got a complete list of everything in the description. 👍 stoked you like the vids mate
HI GIDO, ONCE AGAIN, WHAT SIZE OF ZMAN LURES YOU FISH WITH AND JIG HOOK SIZE? IN THE VIDEOS THOSE LURES SEEMS BIG OVER 7", OR THATS THE EFFECT OF CLOSEUP ON CAMERA,
I kinda wish you'd realease all the groper tbh.. but that's just me. And at the risk of sounding like a killjoy there are people who will watch these vids and find where you are go collect native snakes for the black market so I'm always a bit worried about showing this kind of stuff. The more people know where things are the more they will want to move in and take, it's in our history you can't deny it. Safe fishing.
I hadn't thought about that, I normally try to keep my fishing spots secret but didn't bother this time as its not somewhere Im precious about. Well I hope anyone that is into the reptile black market has no idea where this is
@@gidosfishingadventures I might be over reacting but as someone who also loves to rock hop I'm just so protective of our beautiful environments, I simply don't trust others to do the right thing, there are too many people who just want to barge in and take, leave rubbish and and ruin places, anyways lets hope we don't see any of this where you are, it's really one of the worlds last precious clean waters and environment.

Another carpet python ! So cool mate. Awesome too see how chill it was. Nice and cool. Nice fish as well ! Can't wait to explore down there one day

You are very brave fishermen. Take care of your self
Love from Iran
That python was mad mate, the only snakes I run into are eastern browns and red bellies, needless to say I don’t pick those bastards up.
Yeh probably the highlight of my day, I see a few tiger snakes and dugites too but keep my distance from them 👍🏼
@@gidosfishingadventures Are those blue grouper not all that great to eat?

Any chance you’d do a gear dump video of your camping / hiking / fishing /climbing gear ?
I have a gear video i did about 6 months ago. Shows most my fishing and camping gear and briefly my climbing gear, its also got a complete list of everything in the description. 👍 stoked you like the vids mate
Carpet python was very chill. Love pythons! Those tracks through the heath made by brush wallabies?
Kangaroos id say
skin beautiful 🐍🐍
Hey mate what plastics do u recommend?
That was a good one bro!
u are awesome ! keep safe n keep on enjoying yourself !
HI GIDO, ONCE AGAIN, WHAT SIZE OF ZMAN LURES YOU FISH WITH AND JIG HOOK SIZE? IN THE VIDEOS THOSE LURES SEEMS BIG OVER 7", OR THATS THE EFFECT OF CLOSEUP ON CAMERA,
I think they were 6 or 7in in this video. Often I use 8in plastics too
ok, and hook size, is that Im planing on going into fishing, and the more I learn the better i become, thanks my friend.... cheers.
Good rock fishing 👍🙏
Great video 👍 thanks
Which fishing rod u using? Thanks
mate, loving ur videos. is that a Diawa seajigger rod ur using?
Yeh the 7-15kg model. It’s a few inches shorter now haha
Mate you recon you’d get one of those Groper on fly, that would be some thing !!
Yeh for sure, I’ve been wanting to try for a while but I’m not a fly fisherman and don’t have a setup. Hopefully one day
Don’t need to cast far, and a nice crab pattern... 😬😬😬 I’ll be waiting in anticipation for that vid as I do to all your vids
Nice fish brother.
What is hanging out your bag on the way down? Another fish?
Haha yeh a salmon I had in the freezer. I used it for burley
@@gidosfishingadventures did you just tie it by the tail and let it wash around in the wash?
Initially yes until it defrosted enough then I put lots of cut in it so bits would break off as it washed around
Did you trek with a fish in to use as berley?
Yep sure did
How do the groper fillets rate?
I give them a 3 or 3.5 out of 5. best size is 5-12kg as they get bigger they can be a bit chewy but cooking them just right helps
What do U wear on ya feet for grip mate
Just thick socks. Grips the slippery black granite better than anything else I’ve tried
Gido's Land Based Fishing Adventures sweet favourite brand ? Do we keep it real and go k mart tradie socks or bamboo socks 😂
Normally explorer socks but anything similar does alright
What part of the world are you in? Its beautiful there!
This is the south west of Australia
What country are in?
Australia
Do you know the story of snake crawling
and has no legs
Wicked!
