@@Warhipster oooh cant wait i've alreaddy painted mine up following a tutorial from a channel called the painting coach but curios what you are gonna do with it

Do you by chance have a list of the brushes you used for this model? I’m getting ready to do this one and I wanted to make sure I follow the way you’re doing it. Thanks! Love the vid!
Is it possible to use Abadon black with lahemia medium instead of Black Templar for covering the turquoise? I wonder if I'll get the same effect with it?
Can I do the terradon turquoise and black templar steps with an airbrush? I just got mine and really keen to try it, or will I not get those nice edges then?
Is there any chance you could take a look at some of the models from Wicked Foundations? They make such interesting and cool designs and they price is unbelievable for what you get. I'd love to see what you could do with your contrast+ style.
Is there another way I can get the color or the mixture between Terradon Turquoise and the black Templar? I have black Templar but I don’t have terradon turquoise. Is there a color I can put underneath it and then put the black Templar over top to get a similar color result?
Would you have any particular recommendations for making the green parts blue? I'm looking to start my indomitus necrons but with an icy/cold blue theme rather than green
Hmmmm interesting question, You'd want to use a thinned Talassar Blue I think to get that really Icy tone, and then an Ultramarines Blue as your darker colour to keep it cold. I think Leviadon Blue would be too much and Aethermatic Blue is just slightly the wrong shade.
If you can find a similarly light grey that gives a super smooth coverage I reckon that would work. A white could work too, as long as you’d be able to get a smooth coat from it.
Hi I'm new to your channel so as soon as I found this vid, I subscribed. Szarekh is my latest Model. He will be the Pride of My Necron Army, but I have held off painting simply because I want him to be amazing. I don't want to make mistakes if I can help it. I also like your method of separating the mini into parts to make it easier to paint. What bases would you recommend to use?
Very gorgeous looking. You are the contrast king. With all of the tutorials you are putting out you must be running low on some paints, i.e. black Templar, basilicanum grey and contrast medium.
Bought Indomitus box to get back into 40k with my son after 20 year hiatus. I did a very quick job on necrons but when my son wanted to add this model to his army I thought I better spend some time on this. Thank god for this guide which has given me half a chance of it looking decent. Just finished the passengers and really coming together, just menhirs to to. Thank you so much! PS - I got there in the end but really struggled to get to some points on the chariot and I did it in two pieces. Any expert tips on getting to hard to reach spaces eg between the thrusters.

Your style is so simple yet produces some really elegant designs, thank you for sharing your talent with us.
Thank you so much! That's exactly what I'm trying to do, simplify and amplify the power of contrast paints
I was definitely feeling intimidated at first but after you painted everything with the turquoise and black it really put me at ease like you said!
It's one of those ones! Worth sticking it out as the final effect is spot on!
I enjoy contrasts for how good of a shade they make! Well done!
Thank you so much!
You deserve so many more subscribers. All your works are masterpieces

this is a great tutorial, very well made !
looking forward to part 2
Thanks a lot!
I never, ever wanna see a dislike on one of these videos, you're amazing my dude! I'll be sharing this to any Necron player I know. Thank you!
You're far too kind! Contrast sadly isn't for everyone... for some reason xD
Rly nice, Terradon Turquoise and Black Templer looks so cool.
Doesn't it just!
Just got this model!! Can't wait to paint it
It's the most fun you can have with your Necrodermis on.
Your tutorial was super helpful i'm gonna use it for my kit and the blackstone for some other necron kits
Awesome! This reminds me I need to get around to doing the Void Dragon Tutorial...

Those are some sexy steps.
The sexiest of steps for the sexiest of Necrons!
Come to Daddy! This is it... this is what I needed in my life and wow o wow o wow
Always glad to deliver! ;)

I haven't glued the top and bottom of the throne together yet, would that be an advantage while trying to paint?
I reckon it could make it easier to get into some of the trickier to access areas for sure!

If you can find a similarly light grey that gives a super smooth coverage I reckon that would work. A white could work too, as long as you’d be able to get a smooth coat from it.
For those of us too lazy to do the extra three or four steps on the legs, could we just wash it with a gloss shade and call it a day?
Any substitute recommendations for the Cryptek Armorshade Gloss now that it’s out of production?
Shade Seraphim Sepia
Do you think the black would work with a green contrast paint underneath? Want to do this on my CCB.
Definitely! You'll end up with green edges where the Black Templar sort of pulls away and then it'll have nice green tone to the depth of it too.
@@Warhipster thanks bud, have been debating whether or not to use classic or contrast method but this has helped to confirm it for me. Contrast it is!
You’re more than welcome! If you post it to Instagram or Twitter at all, I’d love it if you could tag me so I can see how it turns out.

Something that complements the model but isn't too busy. He has a lot going on to justify not going overboard on the base is what I would think!
