I got a 2005 hse from a auction, 94,000 miles on it. Now I know why the owner abandoned it! I cant see where on the video you ran the wire from the column to the light at the bottom!

anyone tested with a bit newer l322 ? where ignition lock is next to steering wheel ? is it same procedure ? having same issue with key not turning, steering wheel is in unlocked position so i guess lock doesnt receive signal from steering column..
this worked for me and saved me 1000 bucks! THANX! also need to use same guage wire. My first attempt failed my wire was to big for connector. Oh well works now!
Double check your wiring connections to see if you have all the connections correct. If it doesnt work, you have other issues other than the locking device

One Problem! First of all, completely fixed being able to turn the key and but now when I completely turn the key it will not start! It worked several times and was yelling for joy…but now nothing? Any ideas?!
I also had the same problem on my 05..... I end up undoing this and I just ran 2 small guage wires from the 18 fuse location to a small hidden toggle switch that I put between the drivers seat and center console. Instead of having to pull the fuse I just flip the switch off and back on wait about 10-15 seconds and you're good to go
This fix only addresses the steering column and ignition lock issue. If it the lock is disengaged and you can turn the key all the way there is probably something else that id failing on your car. If the ignition is locked, you need to check your wires. You

Здравствуйте. Помогите пожалуйста!!!! В морозы машина стояла 10 дней, запустил её, она поработала 15 мин и заглохла. Причина была что подвисли клапана, из-за этого не было компрессии, подняли компрессию слив масло с двигателя -разогрели и залили, и по не многу масла в отверстия куда свечи вкручиваются залили, акб ставили с зарядным устроиством на "Пуск" и крутили, в итоге появилась компресия , клапана встали на место, машина заработала. Но это был последний день дома и мне нужно было уезжать в командировку на 30 день, как приехал, пропала искра. Ток(питание есть на катушки, а как начинаешь крутить стартером то пропадает. Ключь зажигания вставляется и крутиться и зажигания горит но стартер не крутит. Я стартер кручу замыкая реле стартера. Датчик коленвала новый поставил. Датчики распредвала из-за них искра не пропадает, из-за них плохо запускалась бы и временами глохла. АКБ новый. Свечи новые. Думал имобелазер но тогда наверное ключь бы вообще личинку зажигания не провооачивал что включает зажигание, а может защиту и дает что искру блокирует. Помогите пожалуйста, всю голову сломал, уже не знаю что делать. Сдался я. Рендж Ровер м62,4.4

You mean has nothing on the persons video you copied. At least give the man credit seeing as how you did a horrible job explaining which blue wire… this way the people that need to bypass this doesn’t go chopping up the wrong wires and not sealing the first wire they bit into to prevent corrosion which is a huge issue with these vehicles due to all of the moisture in them. L322 has everything on you. This is the most amateur way to do this repair and a good way to make sure you’re completely stuck when the wire fails over time because you don’t have the tools on you to remove the cover. If you’re not going to do it the proper way and solder it, the at least, at bare minimum use heat shrink but connectors to ensure there’s no issues with the wiring in the future. I’m not hating by any means… customer comes to my shop for repair and I go in and I see something like this and ask him where they learn to do it and they tell me RUclips I can’t help go look at the videos and see who is causing this madness… there is a reason why the original content creator recommended soldering the wires…. Because it’s the RIGHT way to do it. Like I said I wouldn’t have had an issue or me to comment at all. Had you not acted like you came up with an easier alternative… your excitement clearly showed that this was your first time doing this, and that you clearly memorise what wires the cover from the previous video or Splice into super perform hack job. The excitement displayed was the excitement of someone, not sure if it was going to work or not and to their disbelief. It worked. Let me know when you copy your next video so I can be sure to explain to you how you fuck that up too. Sure the people that get their car started are going to be happy and thank you but eventually when it fails and given enough time, it will fail. Then they’ll understand. There is a reason these type of connectors arent in vehicles from the factory. Or why no service manual ever will you see it recommended for you to do this.

I suggest the #18 fuse trick, where you wire a on off switch to the slot. Look into that, well anyone else this is four months old question ha

This is a fix for ignition lock problems. Yours sounds like something different.
Make sure you didnt reverse your polarity
I pulled the cables and i see blue wire tripped with black. Is it supposed to be solid blue color cable?
