(They said they miss army at the beginning of the video) also Check out doolset translations for future reactions, genius isnt good at translating korean language. Doolset tells you which member wrote/produced it, gives a small summary of what the songs about , and during translations if a word doesn't translate well into english they explain it thoroughly, they even give you references of what it refers to, gives korean history, gives bts backstories to certain lyrics 😊 it goes into good depth so you understand their songs especially stuff you and i wouldn't understand about their korean politic songs! So please save doolset translations as a bookmark to remember for the future, i hope this helps! I cant wait to see your journey🥹💜
Definitely agree on this. 👍 Doolsetbangtan is the way to go. And I'm gonna add two more tips to that: If you want subtitles on their older music videos you need to get them from the RUclips channel 1theK. It's just as official and safe to react to. It wasn't until later they started their current YT channels (Hybe Labels and BANGTANTV) and they didn't bother with subtitles on the oldest songs. For "strike-safe" subbed live performances Enjoy BTS More is a good choice.

So true! Not only read lyrics. Understanding the lyrics is more important. DOOLSET is with the best translation side for BTS songs. Specially if it's a Song for the Army, BTS put a lot of effort into those songs, like in , yet to come" to give hints to old songs, to memories BTS x Army makes together. And Army aren't just passionatet Fans and supporters of BTS, Army are good
defectives. I personally hear music with my heart and ears, when the melody of a song doesn't touch my heart could the lyrics the best, I won't listen to it. But in this way BTS never disappointed me. Everything BTS do fits so perfect together. That's why I'm a BTS ARMY and I'll be a BTS Army in the future.

Just a heads up, this song is a gift for ARMY as part of their FESTA (a celebration that lasts typically 10 days to celebrate their debut anniversary). The lyrics reference many older bsides that are dear to army like their hidden track Sea and my favorite song of all time, Whalien 52
I found bts when I was in a very rough place and they literally saved my life. I've always struggled with mental health and especially anxiety. Their music and message gave me the courage to work toward a dream and I found a family in bts & army. I know it might seem hard to believe but bts rely on us just as much as we rely on them. Recently jungkook went live with us bc he was anxious and couldn't sleep but he fell asleep (during the live) a few minutes after talking with us.

I found BTS right when I needed to as well :) The struggles we face in life are so hard to handle but I've noticed that once this world revealed itself to me... it was the day things got a little bit easier. The positive vibes that we get from this music helps us realize that within the world of negative energy... the positive is still there, and it shines for us.

"Take Two" is a song BTS wrote for ARMYs (they have so many songs for their fans). BTS has written so many songs for ARMYs to encourage us thru difficult times, thanking us for our love and support, and encouraging us to continue this journey with them. In the lyrics of "Take Two" they are afraid and doubting whether or not we will continue to stay with them even thou they are on break to serve in the military 😭😭 NEVER have I seen any artists LOVE and RESPECT their fans as much as BTS does. 😭😭 BTS has taught me to believe and love myself, to be a kind humble human being, and to be brave and authentic to myself.
I am 56, I found BTS during a very hard and dark time in my life. They and their music honestly saved my sanity. Having Menal health issues, already they and their music puled me back from the edge. They are right 100% you finf BTS when you need them, then its like you are able to get help healing through their sonfs. They have such a fra love for Army. Army has a strong love fort them as well.
I'm 52, I hardly listened to music anymore. It didn't give me anything. It wasn't until my daughter that I knew BTS and my life changed... I'm grateful for BTS and for Army.. 💜 I wish many happy days

As someone who struggled with depression and suicidal thoughts for many years, I found solace in a few things. One of them was BTS and also among ARMYs. I'm a huge fan of MasterGo and his reaction videos. He's authentic and so open.

I love this song because it is fir ARMY. As they are going off to the mandatory military service they have finished the first chapter and started the next, it is difficult for new ARMY to get the references so sounds a bit strange. Example, the lonely whale - they have a song called Whalien 52. There is a true story of a whale that has a different vocal frequency to other whales, so it had been calling out but getting no response and so was alone. Once humans discovered ot they fitted a device to the whale to lower it's frequency so other whales heard it and responded. RM related this song to how they used to get cut from broadcasts etc but ARMY found them and spread their voices to others, making ARMY grow and them be heard more and more. As I have said before, RM is so intelligent and well read.
They truly love and appreciate ARMY.

I know you said you are less inclined towards the soppy love songs but there are some gems from BTS that maybe are a bit slower that are very comforting such as Zero O'clock (no matter how bad your day has been, at midnight the world takes a breath and a new day begins and you are gonna be happy) RM again, and Magic Shop, this time Jungkook (basically, you are not alone when you feel down, open a door in your heart and they will be there waiting for you, to comfort you in the Magic Shop). The live oerformance of Magic Shop is stunning, hearing ARMY in the call and response parts. For Zero O'clock I like the official MV Tiny Tan version-not going to explain that, nice surprise.

Hello 💜 my top tip for newcomers to BTS is to check if the video has English subtitles in the closed captions as this one does. But if it doesn’t, go to the RUclips channel Enjoy BTS More where they add quality subtitles (translation is an art too, so pick the best performers in the field) from Doolset Bangtan and other trusted ARMY translators.
Also Bangtan Subs channel has lots of subtitled material more than 3 yrs old- their video logs, Episodes and Bangtan Bomb and other videos. Pretty much everything BTS has subs, so don’t do without.
They are saying they miss ARMY in the beginning. But, I know you are not all about the "In your feels" song but Magic Shop would be a perfect song to match how you are feeling right now (the live version by Taesoo). I genuinely love your reactions and how you handle them. The thing I love about BTS is their message behind their music, whether it be slow or upbeat. I hope you give Magic shop a chance because, like this song, its amazing. 💜Side note, I went and saw Suga in concert. I do not have words about how amazing it was. My next goal is to see all 7 boys in concert when they are done with their military service. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

Take Two was a present for ARMY for 10 years. Basically a thank you for always being there. With them being on hiatus as a group since 2 members (Jin and J-Hope) have anyway enlisted in their mandatory military service. All able bodied men in South Korea have to serve something like a year in a half in the military by like 28. (BTS got special permission to postpone till like 30 due to the money and tourism they've brought to South Korea). I live watching newbies react to BTS because despite everything they've accomplished, they have never forgotten where they came from. They are so humble and still, after 10 years, share just about every bit of their lives with us. I mean if I had just performed a concert all I would want to do is maybe eat and then CRASH. But no, they live stream and thank the fans for coming to the show and just talk to us. I know I'm HONORED to be a part of the BTS ARMY. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

I'm a 52 year old ARMY and BTS found me after my best friend died and the world seemed very dark and lonely. They have changed everything for me. I have learned so much from these remarkable young men who are 20 years my junior!! And now I'm learning Korean and have a whole new group friends from my language class. This is a very special song for ARMY! It is basically a love letter to us, and a way to thank us for the support we’ve given them these 10 years. They are incredibly comfortable with us in every way and treat us with the outmost respect, like family. In the beginning, they said that they miss us.
This song also references certain songs that have a powerful message and strong lyrics: their hidden track “Sea” which talks about the hardships they had to go through, metaphorically comparing the sea with the desert and vice versa, “Whalien 52”, about the real life 52-hertz whale and lastly the song that is so important and meaningful to us, “Young Forever”, the song that ARMYS surprised BTS with in their concert at Wembley (you saw that in the explanation). It is incredibly impactful.
I highly recommend Doolset, a website dedicated in translating BTS lyrics. It’s great and super reliable since it gives the most accurate translations and also tells you the hidden meanings and explanations behind the lyrics and language itself. So whenever you watch a BTS song, always go on Doolset and check out the lyrics there! Color-coded lyrics on RUclips are almost always innacurate with some exceptions. What I will recommend instead is the channel “DIAL 6137” on RUclips. Their translations are also on point and super reliable! BTS lyrics are very very important so that’s why I want to make sure you get the best of them!

Take two is incredibly special! I became an ARMY only recently, so this was the first song of theirs that I got to listen to on the day it came out. I am so grateful that BTS showed up in my Instagram reels a couple of months ago. Things that I learned that helped me in the beginning: Korean names present last name first, so Kim is a last name. With honorifics in Korea it’s no joke. When you are older, or higher up in a position at work, people have to address you differently, with different endings on the name. Hyung is an older brother type. Their age is different, so when they say age 15, in international age it’s either 13 or 14. They are born at 1yr old and gain a year in Jan then it’s the same as international after that. I love learning more about the culture and I appreciate the references in their lyrics even more. Sometimes comments sound harsh but remember that many Army’s google translate their comments to English and it can seem weird or harsh :) Also Korea has mandatory military enlistment. They are each dropping solo work before they go in and then come back as a group in 2025. They created a lot of content to release while we wait. 58 from Portland OR :) TY

1 most important thing that sets BTS apart is LYRICS. Their OWN story. What they say.
Its not just plain words used to fill in the sound and production. BTS has a massive catalogue. Their music, videos, production is an ADDITIONAL to their lyrics.
I have noticed the smile creep acrossed your face listening to them. I can see the joy and happiness it's starting to bring to you. This is what happens the love joy happiness and sense of belonging. The power of BTS is magic to me. I see it happening to you as I watch this. Speical is for sure a word for it.

The comment about BTS finding you when you need them most. I found them in 2017 at a very hard time in my life and they have made my life so much happier anytime I hear or watch them. I am a 47yr old mom of 3 and love them as a group and as individuals. ARMY is a great mix of genders and ages and is incredibly supportive of each other. Thank you for taking the chance to listen to them and by doing so falling in love with your lyricism and overall talent and amazing personalities. 💜

I am with you, I absolutely love this single that they dropped for their 10th year anniversary. A lot of people who enjoy Kpop do lyric videos where they translate them and also show who is singing which part, if you were thinking of listening to more Kpop, this is a great way to hear a song especially for non-korean speakers.

The members of BTS love ARMY just as much, if not more, than ARMY loves BTS! It is a symbiotic relationship. The individuals that make up this group have such a beautiful message to share.
It's interesting. Those people that resonate to the BTS vibe get it right away - and some will never get it. BTS mainlining happiness and comfort.
It's very special as it's BTS singing to ARMY to celebrate the 10th anniversary,and the fact they prepared this for us before Jin and J Hope went to start their military service. It's part of them always thinking about us. Just like how Jin has pre recorded messages for us to be released over the time he's in the military. They never stop producing little things for us. I don't know really any other group that thinks about their fan
base so much and they always say thank you to ARMY at award shows when they receive another award. It's basically a love letter to ARMY from BTS.
Over the years BTS have faced some really shite times and ARMY have often acted as a buffer of protection for them. Even to the point of getting together to do historical research in order to correct New outlets around the world that were giving out some really bad misinformation about the lads in regard to a political issue between Japan and Korea which the BTS. We had to write 'White Paper' in both English and Korean.

It is no coincedence that you are listening to BTS. It is said BTS finds you when you need them most. This is certainly the case for most of ARMY including myself. During the darkest time in my life, when no one around me knew what I was going through, Magic Shop opened its doors and I found a family I never knew I needed. The song Magic Shop is the very first song I heard from BTS and I have never looked back. And I get your shock at enjoying this style of music because hip hop etc are more your vibe. Fortunately, BTS has a bit of everything in their discography, and there is always a message in their songs. There is so much to enjoy, take your time and we will enjoy it all with you. Perhaps start at their beginning in 2013 and work your way up? There are also amazing dance practice videos which are awesome to watch, as well as their greatest dance breaks, they have their own programs eg RUN BTS, In The Soop - lots of fun! I'm so glad that you're enjoying your journey in discovering BTS. If can offer some advice, when you start trying to identify the members. don't do it by hair color. Since you watched the introduction/guide to BTS, you already know their voices. It's best to identify them by their voices.
One of the many things I love about BTS, is their methods of storytelling throughout their music videos. It's just so beautiful and pleasant to watch. They don't need to say a word because the expressions and movements alone speak for them. It just grabs your attention so well. In the videos that reference the BU(I Need U, Run, and Fake Love), the way they express and tell the story is just insane and unreal. I just love watching them.
I recommend watching some compilation videos by SugaArmy. They really display the personalities of the 7 members so well. You can learn about all of the dynamic relationships in these videos. It's also great for laughs. Laughing along with BTS is one of, if not, the greatest feelings in the world.

BTS is so good to us. This song was such a wonderful gift for FESTA. They do this on the regular too. We give to each other all the time. We do birthday events for the members, they gift us music. We always stick up for each other. It's just such a great relationship that BTS and ARMY have. They actually see what we do, if we struggle, they constantly tell us to take care of ourselves and we send them all the love and support. Their lyrics have been known to save lives and I know this is true because they saved me from myself 5 years ago. Not Today was the song that did it for me and I heard it precisely when I needed to. It's been said that BTS finds you when it's the most needed and I can tell you that is true. Welcome to ARMY and we look forward to going down the rabbit hole with you!

I believe BTS was able to survive all the cr*p they've been served is #1-ARMY and #2-LAUGHTER. Our Jin and J-Hope lead in-house entertainment and RUN -BTS episodes. I've laughed more watching that show than any sit-com here in USA or BBC. Watching Hopi and Jimin squatting down or fold over with laughter is a tonic. Re concerts, hardest to get tickets in town. Even if they only sell tickets to paid fan club members, they still have to do a lottery since fans number in the tens of millions. Enjoy you BTS journey. We all have our own journeys and most of us are still in it. We’re in this Bangtan Sh*t for life. 💜
The comment of finding BTS at a time when you're meant to is very true. I'm 56 years old and have been an Army since 2018. At a time that I ended a long 10-year relationship, I discovered BTS through my granddaughter. Knowing the influences that popular artists can have on young minds, I did some background work on finding out who they are. What I found was a group of young men whose love of music with a strong sense of responsibility through their connection had given back to me self-love. More specifically, they reminded me of the importance of self-love. Watching Jin's "Epiphany " live with his strong vocals brought me to tears. From there, I dove more each day, little by little, and before I knew it, a year had passed. My eyes are more open, my mind more accepting, and I no longer hold my once cemented thinking about others. I'm much happier now, appreciating life, and every day, I am with BTS.

Hi! thanks for another BTS reaction🥰 and happy festa! this month we are celebrating BTS anniversary and because of that they are releasing so many stuff as gifts for army, this is a tradition every June. I really really recommend you to watch a live performance they all did for a past festa, it's called "BTS room live performance". This video is like a medley of their best b-side tracks from the past years. We ARMY love that video so much, and it is one of the best if you want to watch them live in a small room having fun together, showing their individual skills and their raw vocals. I thought this was a very good recommendation for you that are starting to know them in this awesome journey.

I think it's better that a new ARMY joined for their honest love for BTS rather than being in the fandom for the "fame" that they get from BTS..
And there's another saying in the fandom that it's not really that you find BTS, but BTS finds you when you need them! I can't really explain it but it has been like that for a lot of ARMYs including me.

I'm not quite sure, if I'm repeating myself now, because I watched your first three videos late last night and thought I wrote you, but can't find it anymore.
Anyhow, I really love watching your videos, because I also just recently found BTS. I'm 38 and work as a teacher in Germany. During January I had to stay home sick for two weeks and out of boredom/ curiosity decided to check out the band my students love so much. And then I just spiraled! It was insane and very much similar to what you're sharing here. I watched some videos and they were so nice and positive and just ... inspiring. I studied philosophy and mainly became a teacher to help young teens find their passions and a footing in life. Yet, there I was, completely overwhelmed by how these boys from Korea were able to show me whole new ways towards self-love/ acceptance and a positive outlook on the world we're living in. My heart is still feeling like it could burst and it is almost like being in love, but I'm not in love with one of those boys, but rather with this whole new sense of togetherness, appreciation for our existence...
Maybe we're just being brainwashed, maybe this lot of purple is messing with our brains. :D
But it's been an amazing time! I've started a whole new work out routine, am eating better and feeling simply happy every day to do my best at work or simply with washing the dishes. And as you're saying that you're thinking about new paths and directions for yourself, I did that, too. I had been thinking about certain job promotions but I wasn't confident enough to throw my hat in the ring. I just did that two weeks ago and it felt so good, esp. because many co-workers supported me as I opened up about wanting the promotions.
Long story short: I've rarely felt this much in tune with myself, confident about my journey on this planet, grateful and inspired. It's just a looot of fun at the moment and I do think BTS paved a way for many of us in this regard - probably for you as well and I wish you all the joy and all the excitement and success with your path! Let us know how it continues, I'm rooting for you in Cologne! ;) 💜

I love watching your reactions. As Suga once said you find BTS when you need them. Bts does not find you. I found them last summer in July. Idk how but I stumbled onto them when I needed them the most. With their Run BTS episodes I found laughter and started to smile again. With their songs they really resonated with me. As I started my journey into BTS their lyrics brought me comfort and I started on that journey to love myself again. I am 55 years old still baby army. I love everything about BTS and their journey. Their positivity and brotherhood through 10 years of being together. They have shown me strength, endurance , they still remain humble and kind. 💜💜💜💜💜💜
