Fun fact: Bighit and BTS are known for their strategic super advanced planning abt their contents. Their contents are sometimes recorded/made 1-2yrs in advance. Rarely they release recent contents not unless it's gonna be live or a surprise one. Esp now during their enlistment, they pre-recorded MANY MANY MANY projects for armys 🫂🫂🫂🫂 and sometimes armys just get hold of the timeline where it was made by the time it's release, bec armys tend to find spoilers from their old contents like they dance part of it, sang it, or said something abt it but of course we dont know that it was about future releases 😅😅

take two was released in june 2023 as a gift from bts for celebrating the group's 10th birthday. by that time Jin has already been serving for 6 months, Jhope - for 2 months
We got this song at our last Festa 2023 (Festa is celebration of their birthday/debut). By the time we got the song, Jin and JHope were in the military. We didn't expect anything because those two were gone but as BTS has shown us, they love to leave us gifts. Hobi (Ho-bee) has an album and docu coming out at the end of the month about his love of dancing and a new V song was just announced for Mar 15th.
Jin made solo album for before his away for nearly 2years. It is the Astronut. The Lyrics are beautiful and music sounds like a heavenly sound 😊 KEEP this for our future Grammy king Jin,please. Jin put his heart to this album but Bighit did not spend money to promotion to the global fans...😢
❤Jin was trending worldwide after this song was released.. his vocals are amazing 🎉 His chest voice high falsetto is world class and beautiful to listen to. Hope he wins a Grammy for his upcoming debut album
Army was so happy when they released this song during Festa! It was so good to see all 7 members performing together!
Jimin harmonizing with his brothers are always so good. Just like JK. But Jin voice is always magical. And if you haven't heard Jin highs, boy you need to watch the video of Jins high notes or their Japanese Songs his does lots of highs and crystal snow you need the video where they focus (a fam cam) of his triple high note. And yes this was their 10th anniversary song dedicated to ARMY. We love and miss all our boys and just 100 more days and Jin will be back. Oh and yes Suga and El Captixn is amazing together they've done alot of songs together.

@@_birdie no, I can't add it (and I didn't add it, but you're forcing it). Jimin's part (especially in harmony and with Jin) created dissonance very sharply. RM's voice in this song hit the notes more accurately than Jimin's, unfortunately. That's why I always listen to TT on the record, not a live performance - just because of Jimin's part.

I like to think that "take two" was a gift after a year of crying (they announced enlistment in BTS 2022 party) and already having 2 members serving. A treat we didn't expect and warmed our hearts.
Plus Seoul really did a good job with the 10yr celebration ... I mean firework shows don't usually make me tear up 😢!

@@vcwloves9864 All media reports are based on a single report by Daishin Securities, a company that gives financial investment advice. It is pure speculation on their part, as that is their job. Hybe/Big Hit has given no indication as to whether or not Jin will release any music at all. I wish people would just give Jin some space and let him adjust at his own pace to life after the military. It's going to be hard enough without the crushing expectations of fans.

Suga and El Capitxn frequently collaborate together, especially on Suga's solo work as Agust-D. El Capitxn -- his name is Jang Yijeong -- was previously in another K-Pop group called History before that group disbanded and now he's a producer in his own right.
Elcapitxn was the last guest on Suga’s YT show Suchwita. They talk about how they collaborate and work on the songs as well as some harder experiences in the past. Suga actually got him into producing.
This song really makes Jin shine. He's really a gem. Kim Seokjin rocks in this..
I think this song suits Jin's voice well. His songs Abyss, Tonight, and Yours all highlight some of his high range as well. All the members have fan vids made highlighting aspects of their vocal abilities that are fun to watch. Jin has one called Jin King of High Notes cause his voice is used a lot for high background vocals.

Suggestion? What I consider 3 of their greatest songs by the vocal line for your review that I believe you guys will love. My faves in order are. “House of Cards” “Truth Untold” and “ 0 O’clock” . Love all the members but if you want to really hear the vocal line well, these are some great performances with eng subs. Enjoy 💜

They both do really well w these sort of songs and laid back+stripped down performances. It really suits them and their vocal styles. And their harmonies and high notes are just so damn impressive.

yeah this song really highlight the importance of Jin's vocals in the group as he's wonderful live like everyone else but the way he uses his whole self to sing is incredibly unique

Yes, the audio was released first I believe, or at least I heard it first and it’s so beautiful hearing their voices, especially after missing Jin and Hobi. They always get us in the feels💜

This live performance was recorded back in 2022.
The Yet to Come in Busan free concert took place on 15th October 2022 and the next day it was announced that Jin had begun the enlistment process. The YTC Busan concert was the first live performance of Run BTS, with its choreography, so in some ways that was the last major track to be given a ‘big blast’ launch while they were still all together (at least, that’s the way it feels in my mind).
Recorded in 2022, it was released for Festa 2023 - their 10th anniversary. 💜 It's not part of Proof.

The song had been prerecorded for the Festa 2023 because Jin and Jhope were by then in the SK army.
It is their tradition to put on a performance at their Festas. The announcement that they were going on a hiatus had been at the Festa of 2022. The video of the announcement, over a meal, was very emotional. Jin announced he was going to the military straight after the Busan Concert.
Such a wonderful song…performed flawlessly by all…..but the superstar here is Jimin…..all the main vocals…..the adlibs…..the high notes…..the lower register…..damn🔥💜

This was such an awesome surprise from BTS with two members already enlisted. They all sounds so good but it’s Jimin harmonizing with all the members so beautifully and RM’s first verse (he sounds so good here) that caught my attention.

Technical difficulties is the way of the internet. Love you all laughing at your own chaos. These songs written for Army especially ones planned in advance mean so much to us. Suga produced this one (with his frequent co producer ElCaptainx) and it was co written by the 3 rappers (and others).

I remember when this song was released everyone was so emotional. It was announced right at the start of festa (festa is a month long anniversary celebration they do every year) like right when the clock strike 12. This performance was released on 13th june, their 10th anniversary. The month was full of celebrations and pre-recorded content! 400k army's gathered in seoul for one of the events bighit organized, only rm was present there but it was still so fun.
I’m also old (‘73 vintage) and a vocalist, and I appreciate the auto tune conversation! I sing live and auto tune isn’t really an option so I just do my best to hit the notes. Sometimes, I don’t get it exact, but I PRACTICE and that helps. My son is going to college next year to start his vocal musical teacher training and he doesn’t use auto tune. I guess that it is less common for choral music 🤷🏻♀️

I just listened to the Audiobook Map of the Soul 7: Persona, Shadow and Ego in the world of BTS by Murray Stein. I am absolutely amazed at how much of the psychology BTS has infused into this album that carries the inspirational message in music that everyone can relate to. It might be worth looking into after you hear Map of the Soul 7 for some Extra Credit 😉

Just adding information, we have always known that BTS would go the military because it's mandatory.
They did get their enlistment period extended, and that started lots of rumors and speculations of them receiving exemption, but BTS themselves never said they weren't going to serve in the military
Yeah, they were actually really clear about it, always. The speculation was from everyone else.
In fact, right after the Yet to Come Busan concert, there was still a lot of speculation in the media about if they were going to get an exemption and what the Korean government was going to do when the members announced they were going to serve and that Jin had applied to have his deferment lifted.
