I do think that Daniel Day Louis stands out as someone who has an incredible ability to embody a character completely. He is able to alter every aspect of himself to portray the role in a way that captivates the audience and immerses them with his authenticity. "There Will Be Blood" is a beautiful example of that.

Also I remember 9/11 had just happened when Training Day came out in the theaters. It was a sad time in American History yet this movie was #1 at the box office. That is why Denzel won an Oscar for this role. He ahould have won more before this but still, he really deserved it for this. Also I remember 9/11 had just happened when Training Day came out in the theaters. It was a sad time in American History yet this movie was #1 at the box office. People ran to go see this in theaters despite the hurt people were feeling. That is the power of Denzel. Training Day is right up there with the greats for me like Scarface, Goodfellas, and The Godfather.

In the theatre was REAL SCARY....Esp scene where he went to a retired former cop colleague house, that had money hidden under his living room, under ground n killed him. ....real intimidating..
