That 1st Ocean Master is magnificent!!! Oh man that 181 😍😍😍 that’s my personal current reachable grail chase as I’m a Batman run collector myself. I have a raw Tec 359 in like a 3.0 that I got for a killer price almost 10 years ago now, probably my favorite book in my collection to this day! #74 oh wow!!!!! That’s gorgeous too. My alltime grail is a Batman 49 a first Mad-Hatter so first Tweedledee and Tweedledum would be so awesome as well. Amazing scores!
@TheIncredibleCJ Thank you very much! I have been focusing on high-grade, less popular DC characters' first appearance for a while now. Where Batman keys are already pricier, and James Gunn is usually good with making audiences fall in love with the characters, I figured I should start picking up some more popular keys now before they get even more expensive lol Like you, first Mad Hatter is high on the want list!
Wow incredible collection conlin yes comics are good to grab this time of year. Still loving the nick cardy covers too and hope your original teen titans collection is growing still also look out for brave and bold 78 great purple cover with batgirl and wonder woman
@mark-s Thank you very much Mark! The Teen Titans has slowed down as I'm trying to take my time and find very nice copies. But you absolutely know my taste because I have Brave and the Bold 78 in a 9.4 white pages lol while not a fan favorite character, I just love that cover for Copperheads 1st appearance. Like you mentioned, the purple cover is amazing!
@ConlinsComics Yes conlin have that issue too I would love a copy of detective 74 you have in video I'm after that and detective issue 230 first silver age mad hatter and batman 121 first Mr freeze I keep looking anyway merry Christmas conlin
@casino_comics Thank you! And that is an amazing pick up! Ashamed to say I wasn't previously, but the Netflix show made me a huge fan and when the time is right, that is a book I would love to own, congrats!
First off, love the haul! Second: I absolutely love that Aquaman #29, 9.2❤❤ Need one too 😂 and all the rest of Cardy Aquaman, just pure joy and beauty! 🎉🎉 I think that you guessed that I would gravitate towards The King of the Seven Seas! Awesome my Brother 😊😊
@ThingComics I thought you might! I still need the iconic Aquaman 42. I've been super excited to finally share all the books I've had coming in. Those high grade raw Aquaman books bring just as big a smile as the graded books! Cardy and Aquaman 🤌👑 🌊
@@ConlinsComics And you know that #42 has eluded me also 😅 But Aquaman is so cool, it doesn't matter if it is graded or not, just beautiful! And I did enjoy both Aquaman movies also, and as you said, Curry/Orm relationship was superb on the second one 🫡😊
I love the Aquaman book where he's shrinking and it looks like he's shouting Aquaman. It just made me laugh for some reason. My favorite books I've gotten are probably Tale from the Dark Multiverse and League of Extraordinary Gentlemen. Tales has been fascinating and League feels like circling around to my childhood
@Metalchild696 Those Cardy Aquaman are just great! And I really enjoyed what DC did with Tales of the Dark Multiverse! Especially how they used some to focus on lesser characters as well! I still need to get around to reading Extraordinary Gentlemen
@ConlinsComics absolutely! Tales has given me an entirely new appreciation for DC as a whole and encouraged me to really look into some of the stories featured in it.
I finally decided to start on a complete collection of DCs 100 Page Super Spectaculars. Many of which feature Nick Cardy covers. I’ve loved them since I was a kid. Still have most of the Batman’s and all of the romance books to go.
@Timlovescomics Those are some great books to tackle! I'm ashamed to say it wasn't until the past year or two that I'm really become familiar with Nick Cardy. Now I would say Cardy, Adams, and Infantino just might be my top 3 favorite silver age artists
I have or have had almost all of those books that you displayed(mostly raw in lower grades than you have). I picked up a 6.0 slabbed Fantastic Four 50 ( 1st cover to feature Surfer correctly in my opinion) this year and ASM 39 and 41 slabbed as well. I guess those are my bigger pick ups of the year. I always like seeing the books that you score because they often mirror what my choices would be. Glad that young people like yourself are keeping the Silver Age flame burning. I keep hearing that collectors of vintage books are dying off. Thanks for proving them wrong.
@Sj60-zj4bs Those are excellent books, congrats! And I'm happy to hear that. When I was a kid, I loved these heroes growing up, and I remember certain big books recent sales being advertised on some of the pages of the comics I owned. I would look at the FF49, Hulk 1, early Spiderman, and I couldn't imagine owning such cool first appearance important books. Now I'm 31 and in a spot where I can actually make that happen, and it's unbelievable. And the more silver age I find, also the more golden age I discover and fall in love with. I think as long as stories and characters mean something to kids, when they get older they'll find their way to the older books that started it all and keep them alive.
@sade281 All of the black Manta covers are sick and I know exactly the whale one you mean! Another high want I haven't snagged yet is the iconic Aquaman 42
@joesmith9483 Hello, it is not! The one window to my comic room usually has a blackout curtain, but I like to open it and use the natural light when filming. Never too long, and never direct sunlight. It's a shame because the natural light does make the colors pop!
Conlin, do NOT crack that Tec 74. There are many examples of people getting lower grades when they resubmit just for a newer label. I think the old labels are endearing anyway.
@rodnicker Thank you! And yeah, I'm still enjoying dc being more affordable than Marvel. But where even Marvel has dropped, perfect time to grab those spidey keys too! I've always loved that first Lizard, congrats!
@joedenney5015 The thought of a signature did actually cross my mind. I know if CGC didn't witness the signature, they note it as "writing on/in book." For now, though, i shall live in mystery and hope lol
Conlin, you are so dreamy! I could stare and look at your videos all day. And I have, actually, ha! For real though, you share a lot of great information and it’s exciting to see your incredible collection. Keep up the great videos!
Damn that was a great haul 🔥🔥🔥 I'll be dropping my 10 Biggest pickups of this year later this week. You should do the same. There is a lot of Batman in mine lol.
@joshscomics01 Thanks Josh! My last video was my top 5 most expensive/valuable books in my collection, and my top ten pick ups would at least half be a repeat lol I'm excited to see yours all in one video because I know you've been crushing Batman appearances left and right this year!
Awesome Haul! I totally love the Nick Cardy Aquaman Covers.
@ComixDepot Thank you! Nick Cardys work on Aquaman is what made me discover him, and I've been a fan like many ever since!
Great books !😎
@@stevenm8429 Thank you very much! I felt like a little kid when they arrived!

Awesome pickups! That first ocean master in a 9.2 is crazy.
@@gooddogcollectibles Thank you! I had been on the search for a copy like this a long time!
Amazing books my friend 🤘🤘🤘
Thank you very much! I was extremely excited for these ones!
Great books. I got my grail just a few days ago. Daredevil #1
@casino_comics Thank you! And that is an amazing pick up! Ashamed to say I wasn't previously, but the Netflix show made me a huge fan and when the time is right, that is a book I would love to own, congrats!
Great pickups, love that 181 and 359. The Aquamans are awesome too.
@Matt_Likes_Comics Thanks Matt! I have been waiting a long time to grab some of these!

Patience did you good, that is a killer hawl esp Tec 359 and Batman 181 arguably the two biggest Batman books from the silver age
@comicfanagain8405 Thank you very much! I have been waiting awhile for those particular books to come down from the prices over the last few years

I started getting a few aquaman love the covers I grabbed that first manta but I also love issue 5 with the whales check out that one
@sade281 All of the black Manta covers are sick and I know exactly the whale one you mean! Another high want I haven't snagged yet is the iconic Aquaman 42
is it safe to keep the books out in the light without loss of color in the covers?

@seanmitchell8151 Ah yes, I completely forgot they started completely regrading for reholders. Thank you for that!
Crack open that Batman. You might have an artist's signature on the interior
Those are good pickups as normal. Those DC keys are terribly undervalued.
I just recently picked up ASM #6.
@rodnicker Thank you! And yeah, I'm still enjoying dc being more affordable than Marvel. But where even Marvel has dropped, perfect time to grab those spidey keys too! I've always loved that first Lizard, congrats!
