I recently fell back in love with Skylanders. Swap Force and Trap Team specifically were a huge part of my childhood. My friend gave me some of his old skylanders and we have been playing trap team on RUclips and it has been so much fun. Because of this I have even started collecting again and it is so nostalgic. Something about getting a package and holding a skylander for the first time and adding it to your collection that will never get old. I’m so happy that their are so many SkyTubers and others in the community keeping this franchise alive.
Ive started buying lots to try to fill out my collection with the intent of selling off dupes over time. Got a great lot of 50+ figs with other things included for $75 off fb marketplace recently. The market is still pretty active and lots of families are getting rid of whats laying around as their now teens are going to college
I dont see any reason to sell them unless you need the money cause i see soooo many story of people regretting selling not just skylanders but pretty much anything of the toys from their childhoods. You don't fully know what you would and wouldn't miss in 10 years time so I just think its better to keep them.
I've sold most of mine years ago, even my Imaginator Crystals, while keeping a select few. On the bright side, there are sellers on ebay selling NFC cards/coins for cheap. They're perfect and functional if you ever need any of the expensive characters, and will even save you so much space.
havent touched skylanders in years and today i find out wildstorm is worth over 100 bucks someone who appreciates skylanders will get joy from him after i get payed
@@dr.boring7022 Came home from school one day and they were in the dumpster outside my brother and I were balling, my step mother told my dad too because they were dropping too much money in them (which they were) but they could've done something else rather than completely ditch them
Every market will eventually go down or up in value and that includes skylanders so they probably won’t keep going up in price forever (sorry for being cynical). So if you do end up selling your skylanders make sure to look for patterns like a lot of the more expensive skylanders going down in price then you’ll know you’re around the highest the prices will be
I used to be real into skylanders as a kid and i owned like 90% of the regular ones up to the superchargers, and then i have a bunch of imaginators stuff, im basically just going to keep the ones i like and remember and sell all the ones worth actual money
All of the fees with Mercari now is why I barely buy from them anymore. Their fees make the items that you want to purchase like $10 plus or more plus tax and shipping costs. No thank you. I will stick with mainly ebay and Amazon. I am not looking to pay more for something that I want. The benefits are supposed to be for the buyers mainly. The buyers are who keeps you in business.
idk if i was lucky but hunting on ebay i found a realy cheap lot for like £17 with rocky roll in it and a bunch of other stuff honestly realy excted to get collecting again
hi instead of having the bright blue captions with no option to disable them could you please add regular youtube captions? it would just be easier on the eyes, thanks
I will never ever sell my Skylanders because they are my friends.
preach! 🗣️
Real
Yes
they are my friends not figures.
I sold mine after the series ended and regret it now that I'm back in skylanders
if i were to sell skylanders it would be the duplicates of some that i already have

That's exactly how I got Robow and Wildstorm. 400 dollars for just a Skylander and level... Hell nah. The NFC coin was just a way better deal.
I had a tub of skylanders at my dads house in Las Vegas, went to my moms house in Houston for a while, came back and saw all of my skylanders GONE
Omg that hurts 😭 did you find them?
@@dr.boring7022 nope

I will never sell my skylanders. But will we still play skylanders until we are in our 50's?
There’s still old people playing other games I’m sure it’s fine
My dad threw away our skylander when he thought we were too old
I had ro bow and wildstorm this was around 2017
Like, he just took them and tossed them away cause he wanted to?

Mine are not for sale and won't be for sale as long as I am alive.

Selling extra of the traps to where you only have one of each element isn't a bad idea.

If anyone has a specific one they would want me to look for just comment which one and i will see if i have it
I have about 800$ worth from how much i have counted based off SCLcollectibles
I’m keeping my Skylanders, and definitely will be buying more so I can have my future kids or nephews play this for their first ever game.
It Depends if you Own a Skylanders Game for 3DS or Imaginators for Switch.
I would be rich If I were to sell them but I don't like being rich though and Skylanders is CHILL!!!
Like a bill
Sent a picture of it in the disc. I got Skylanders trap team for my day of spawning today

you would have to pry my skylanders out of my cold dead hands
I'm never selling my Skylanders because the series means so much to me
If I ever sell mine (Even my dupes), send help
I have dark skylanders that go for like 1000 or something this is imaginers so uhhh yea
Why do you let people harass TEK Game Studios?
I could never bring myself to sell my skylanders my kids will be playing with them
Hopefully the NFC still work 😂
Id say it depends because if you really need money then sell enough to get the money you need

Yes, sell them to me.
I would never sell my skylanders, even if I have nothing to do anymore, I still won’t
Thx but no. Unless they're doubles I bought accidentally, not going to sell my childhood
