I often think my FX3 should have a tone knob like an old wireless, it has a bright and mellow switch but a tone knob with a bigger range would
suit me very well because some of the 'stops' sound a bit harsh.

The instrument arrived Wednesday afternoon and I have been playing with it since then.
It's a beautiful instrument but unfortunately got bad luck and got a "lemon" out of the box.
Sound great has more features than I can use but the problem is faulty dynamic bellows control.
In a nutshell, it doesn't do a thing no matter what settings (menu 14.1) are used.
Bellows are hard like a barn door and it's hard to play and they almost do not move an inch.
Yesterday I called Dale Matiews and he helped me with the setting, restoration of factory settings, restoration of his sounds, below calibration etc. We spent over an hour trying to resolve the belows problem but nothing helped.
    He is out of ideas.
    Also am I.
By watching you video i am quite shure there is problem with the hardware, any ideas?

Thanks for watching my video! I am sorry you are having a problem because the 8x is so much fun - especially with Dale's sound sets. My first thought would be to recalibrate your bellows, but you already did that. I don't know if you have Zoom, but I would be happy to jump on Zoom and take a look. I will give you my email address and you can email me so I can give you the Zoom address. My email is: jpkarwoski@gmail.com

Thanks for viewing and the comment/question. I am a little confused by the question, so I will give it my best. I looked in my manual at 13.5 and it is the palm bar, I don't think that is what you wanted. It simply allows you to select the register that you want the accordion to go to. By default it will send you to register 8. If you have orchestral on (or organ), it will simple turn those off and give you the accordion only. The other item deals with playlists. If this is the question, the options are Off, Stop or Play. Off means that it is off and you will need to select it manually. Stop means that at the end it will stop playing but move to the next selection (you will need to start that manually). Play means that the next selection will start automatically. You may also use the Repeat option. This will really only work if you set the Chain to Play. I hope one of those is what you needed. -Joe
