Yup! Best way to get em is before daylight. If you can get right up close to the Roost, You can bust them when they fly down.

Looks like by the last few videos I've watched of yourself and the THP crew where going to have to come up with a woodpecker call of some sort cause these owl and crow calls don't work that well anymore. My daughter just made me a homemade Turkey tote this year and it put a big ole smile on my face knowing it was from her hopefully it gets a work out here in a couple weeks. Great videos keep up the good work. Stay healthy and safe my friend.

Awesome bama hunt, I had that would strut and gobble, back an fourth on a ridge . My problem was moving around a big beetle kill . I couldn’t not move until he headed back to the point. I moved about half way around, then he came back. Then he went back to the point then i made my move, I got in position. Then a group of hens on the next ridge started carrying on. At this point I haven’t even had a chance to call. We all know what took place after that . He took off, I tried to move in front of them with no luck, he shut up and the hens was yelping. Then wind picked up then I lost them. That’s how it goes, congrats on the kill.
